Catching her eye Zell shrugged almost sheepishly. Well, yeah. Kinda. Once he read the name why not make a point of it? Of course there was nothing intentional about his food selection. It was just food. Zell was a good eater, but he really still preferred hotdogs cooked like at Balamb Garden -thank Hyne for Myranda conjuring the perfect cooker that could do that when there'd only been the tala Zell in the home- over about anything else. He was a simple guy really.
"Yours sounds good too." Zell smiled at her, setting his hand near hers enough to lightly touch the back before leaning back in his chair again after giving his menu to the waiter. Again: settled.
He raised a brow at the almost compliment & grinned. "Thanks, man. I try on the listening thing. And Yeah. So my friend tells me. Says watching the movies of the Bard's works aren't enough. Like hearing her read that 'Bells' one of -Poe I think- to her little boy though. Gotta hear that one. It'd never mean as much to me reading it. I take too long. Get too distracted." The SeeDs laugh was warm. "Bet you'd get fed up with me as a student quick though. Most've my instructors were glad enough to see the back of me after I passed my field exam and graduated."
He was being careful. It was such an odd thing to do.
