Well, as you know, a while ago I did promise some mini events and I know that I've been lax with them due to a lack of activity in the thread. Therefore, I've decided to set up a mini event that you can all partake in - there will be a number of ways to take part and there'll be a little somethign for everyone so there's no need to complain about a certain event and claim that you aren't as good as everyone else.
Contest will last for roughly a month and will end on April 30th 2006.

::Fanart Contest::
- Choose something from Turtle's Paradise to draw, this could be anything from the tavern to another Elysian or NPC. Be as creative as you want and use whatever medium you feel comfortable with.
Bonus points will be awarded for creativity. There will also be individual prizes for humour as well as a prize for the person who captures the mood of the person/elysian/place the best.
1st Place: Default Familiar + Sky Ticket
2nd Place: Default Familiar + Moon Ticket
3rd Place: Default Familiar
Best Humour: Tonberry Familiar
Best Mood: Ceourl Familiar
: razz lot Twists::
- This one is a guessing game. What I want you to do is try to figure out one plot twist that might be used in Project Nexus or in the Crystal Worlds at a later date - the closest twp guesses will win a Cactuar Familiar each!
Prize: Cactuar Familiar
::Activity Prize::
- This one is relatively simple, the most active Roleplayer and thread goer will receive a prize at the end of the month to reward them for their patronage to the thread - this can be old or new thread goers so don't be shy.

::Mini Games::
- Alright, as you know we often use mini games during flatsales to give out Familiars and to help people acquire 'raffle tickets' - now, the shopkeepers are all very creative but we love to see people come up with their own games and therefore we'd love to hear what you'd like to see done in the store.
As a result, we would like you to make up a mini game (please keep it simple) for us to use at a later date. The games we like most will be used during the flatsales or other festivals!
Prize: Best games will be featured in flatsales, winners will receive five free raffle tickets + default familiar.
::Lyric Contest::
- Now here's one for the bards!
The task in this case is to create a lyric in dedication to an event, the tavern itself or generally to an ic character in particular. The more relevant it is the better!
It can be humourous or serious depending on your mood.
