Story
Our tale begins in modern days, where the humans of our world have made contact with creatures thought only to exist in their wildest dreams. The humans and the creatures quickly became good friends, causing the different races of creatures to merge into society. New cities were built, and new lands were discovered. Everywhere, time was moving fast. But there is one thing that remained. The existence of gangs. Ah, the gangs of this world were no joke. The police officers tried there hardest to stop gang violence to no avail. Soon enough, some officers became corrupt. Eventually siding with the gangs. Either taking a liking to a specific one, or allying themselves with who ever they thought had the most power. Or maybe just working for all the gangs. There were soon five gangs that gained power. The most power. The Dragons. The Tigers. The Hearts. The Kings. And finally, The Aces. Each gang is made up of many members of all races. As well as the police officers. Some of the civilians have family members with in the gangs. Or maybe some good friends, causing them to be dragged in as well. Drug transactions go on everyday. Gangs have their own territories which they guard with their lives. Some of the civilians like the gangs and appreciate their protection. And some on the other hand do not. And they're not afraid to show it.... So, let's see what goes on in this hectic world. Will a single gang gain power? Which gang will gain the most power?

Setting
World of Pain takes place in modern times. Meaning, a lot of people have guns and knives. And some might even have a sword. Except, with a bit of a twist. It's also a fantasy. So, fox demons, nekos, and all that good stuff reside in this world as well. There are four main gangs. The Dragons, The Tigers, The Hearts, The Aces, and The Kings. Each gang has its own code. The code is decided by the leader. But, there is some general information about each gang you MUST know about before just jumping in head first.

The Dragons
The dragons are a tight knit gang who stick up for one another not matter what. They are all trained martial artists. They're leader and second in command can be either male or female. The regular members consist of both males and females.

The Tigers
The Tigers are a very powerful gang. They can be very, VERY territorial. They're leader and second and command can be either male or female. The regular members consist of both males and females.

The Hearts
The Hearts are a very seductive gang. They use their good looks to seduce and take control of the minds of men. They're leader and second command are both females. And the regular members are all female.

The Aces
The Aces are a very slick and sneaky gang. They can usually con themselves out of most situations and have a mastery of skillful speaking. They're leader and second in command can be either male or female. And the regular members are both male and female.

The Kings
The Kings are a very power hungry gang. They do what ever they can to get their way and can sometimes objectify women. They're leader and second in command are both male. And all the regular members are male.

Rules
1. This is a literate RP. Please remember that.
2. Please put all OOC in some sort of brackets.
3. This is PG-13. If something sexual is going to happen, remember there ARE time skips.
4. I will not tolerate godmodding, flaming, or disrespect towards anyone. If I find anything to my disapproval or my mods think that it should be taken care of, it will result in an instant ban.
5. Gender bending is allowed.
6. No one can play more than three characters unless I give permission other wise. You must keep them all under control, and we must be able to tell them apart.
7. Please send ME the applications for joining. Please title the PM Cooked Face.
8. Not all of the people on the white list are mods. They will know who they are.
9. I changed my mind. Title the PM, Mr. McLul and put a ninja somewhere in the PM.
10. I can add or remove rules at any time I see fit.

(( Hm. C'mon people, JOIN! >:U I shall make the starting post now. o: ))

Waking up in a daze, Lyrus was greeted with a smile by one of his gang members. Low ranked, but still a good person. Lyrus quickly got dressed and began to head down stairs. He owned a magnificent building. It was a mansion, duh! Pretty much all the gangs had a huge mansion somewhere in their territories. As Lyrus began to head down stairs, he was greeted with smiles and hellos by his family. "Sup everyone?" Lyrus said to them happily. "Let's show all these other posers who really run this show! Us! The Dragons! WE run this! And don't let anyone tell you otherwise!" This statement was followed by a wave of cheers. This only made Lyrus feel proud. With that, he went into the kitchen and got a brownie. He's a chocolate lover. He took a bite and savored the taste. "If you need me, I'll be in my office." And with that, Lyrus headed into his office. He made a few calls and checked up on the business. Drug sales were up, they had just taken over another neutral area, and they had just gotten the elementary school some new basket balls. Things were going great.

Si walked into The Dragons mansion he didn't like it much 'It was pretty much a huge target' he thought. Inside he saw members lying around and talking to one another he walked up to a pair talking about what tats they had on and saying which ones they were planning on getting"Aye man any of you two seen lyrus?"he asked them "Yeah I just saw go into his office right now"Said one with a Dragon tatto around his throat "Thanks man" replied SI pounding fist with the guys. Walking up to the door Si knocked on the door "Lyrus dude are you there?" he contiued knocking.

Lyrus heard a knock at the door. He then heard a familiar voice call out to him. It was Si. Lyrus grinned a bit and nodded to himself. "Yes, I'm here." Lyrus said. "Come on in man." Lyrus continued to sort through some paper work. He had a pen and pad, and a calculator too. He was doing taxes and looking at the expenses. It was the part if the job he hated, but hey, do what you gotta do. So, Lyrus took a deep breath and reached into his desk. There, he pulled out a cigar. He lit it, and took a puff. With that came a sigh. "So, what's up Si?" Lyrus asked, assuming that Si had entered.

"Lyrus we have a shipment of contraband coming in"he said "smuggled so it's a little cheaper than the usual stuff"he added. He looked around the office really quickly "The thing is sir that it's an a rival warehouse"he said cautously waiting to see Lyrus's reaction."We are'nt sure which one but we have some pigs checking into it"he walked a little closer to his desk "I forgot to say hi, Whats up?"

Byakko was walking through the street annoyed of her mind. James Aka her "father" had her pradice the violin for 3 hour staight and her had was sore. "why do i even take the stuip lessons i hate it will a passion." Byakko had broken at lest a dozen of them to get out of playing them but of couse they had a back up. "note to self find all violins and destroy them" She made a mental not of that. She saw the Dragons mansion, "maybe i should pop by while i have the chance" Byakko changed direchen and head tword the mansion.
