Twin Hill's High School Purple Cougar Marching Band Newsletter:
Dear students and parents,
As you may know, the school year is fast approaching. This means it is time to stop enjoying the remainder of your summer and join us at band camp.
Band Camp will be held Monday August 3 to Wednesday August 12 from 6 am to 10 pm. Lunch and dinner breaks will be at noon-1pm and 5-6 pm, where students are free to leave our school campus but must be back by the end of break.
Students returning from previous years must bring their instruments. Instrument checkout for new students will be on August 3 at the lunch break, since most of our first few hours will be introductions and registration. If your returner did not check out an instrument before summer vacation, please contact me and i will have one ready on August 3 when they arrive.
Inside this letter I have included your students music for their particular instrument. Our theme this year is Pirates of the Carribean. Auditions for any solos will be during the dinner break on August 5. If music is lost, please report to me right away so i can replace your copy.
just a reminder, here is a list of some items you must have at band camp: water, flip folder, music, water, instrument, water, sunscreen, hat, water, light clothing, tennis shoes, water, sunglasses, and of course yourself. Don't forget the water!
This is going to be a great season. If we work hard, the Purple Cougar Marching Band will make number 1!
