Ⓐsaria
Asa Lande, a battlefield now turned into the biggest metropolis of all mixed races. This city holds the most powerful people in Asaria, the Council, and it is the memorial to those who died along ago in the Great Battle. This particular city has everything a person can desire, food, clothing, weapons, magic books, potions, and so much. Humans have the majority power of the city since they are the ones who built it, hence why the human King Roland rules Asa Lande though they are trying to be less of a monarchy then more of a Council. Asa Lande is the strongest city and its surrounding walls are basically impenetrable from any force...except the darkness. It is a power house, a beacon, and a beautiful city filled with people of all races.
A large human kingdom in which is ruled by an iron fist, the queen who rules these parts is White Queen. She is a basically a tyrant who chooses to take everything from her subjects and only leaves them enough to survive her cruelty. She has a vast army many filled with die heart soldiers who would follow her even after death, some say they do. Rumors have been going around that she is dabbling in necromancy to build a undead army, but those are just rumors. The kingdom itself is a pearl white stature; the fields surrounding the kingdom are home to many fresh fruits and vegetables. Because they are surrounded by mountains the kingdom is rather hard to get to since the only way in is by underground tunnel through the mountains, which is mainly used for trade. Besides its heartless queen, the kingdom is very beautiful and is filled with mast amazement if you can see past its poor community.
The city of mermaids many have called it, a place where all fantasy come alive even your most desired ones. This city holds a mixed race society, the ruler is actually a human/elf pirate who once took out fifteen ships out with one cannon. They call him the pirate king, a well known skilled fighter who can take any scallywag in all of Asaria so he claims. This city holds many taverns and brothels fit for any pirate or low life scum, though if you want information well you better have a lot of gold pieces on you that is if it doesn't get stolen. Despite being a city for pirates, the streets are filled with wonderful music played by Bards from all over the globe, exotic shops that have the most interesting objects in the world, and not only does this city have exotic shops but magical ones as well that can fit any witch, wizard, mage, or shaman's needs.
Pure as can be these mountains have been sacred to Asaria since the world was created by the gods. This is where all gods were created and that is why these mountains are so pure not even the darkness can get to them. The castle that is shown here is the temple of the gods, a sacred temple showing every god of every race in one large castle. Many druids and priest of their god or goddess come here for enlightenment and pilgrimage. This is the temple that the ancient heroes trained their skills into that of gods which helped them defeat the darkness. Now once everything is complete the heroes must travel here to speak with the ancients for guidance and power. The Dragons are said to be rested here until they leave to Draconia, but many people suspect that reside in the Fire Mountain, a large volcano type mountain.
The last land the Viking was pushed into, a place where they hold their villages and treat these mountain with high respect. Vikings are slowly dyeing out and many of them turned into mercenaries for hire due to their lost of faith to the gods, in which cause trouble when they come back home for visits. This mountain holds some of the most dangerous creatures such as the white wolf, which is five times larger then any normal human, and giants are known to live in caves which are in constant battle with the Viking due to their history together. These mountains are north of Asa Lande, clearly visible if you can see very far, but finding the villages of the Vikings is a difficult feat among itself.
This tree is the largest tree in all of the globe. The Yggrdasill is a place of healing, the waters that run
underground feeding the roots is the sacred water in which anyone who drinks this water will heal their wounds either be it major or minor. This place is home to the elves of all kind after taking it over from the Vikings in anicent times. They believe the tree is a god itself, but the Vikings knew what it truely was. This tree is also the home the Norns, are the only goddesses that stay upon Asaria. The control all of the creatures fate and destiny, though they are also fortune tellers in which they are very accurate at times but they know destiny can always change with the life choices you make. The roots of Yggdrasill extend to every inch of the globe and the darkness can not reach this tree or life on the world will cease to exist.
Faeiya is the capital elven city home to the elven race that holds many different kinds of elves. High Elves, Drows, Forest elves, and regular elves though living in segmented areas they are a strong race. This city is located to the west which lay between two large crevasses between two mountains that hold the elven forest of Fehiah. The city of course as many buildings located at the bottom, but a lot of buildings are along the side of the crevasse walls in which have many ledges, though if you are not carefully you could fall to your death though many have now the elven guard have flying horses in which catch anyone from actually falling to their death. Much like Lyre, the shops of Faeiya are exotic filled with elven artifacts and objects even the food is exotic but very delicious. The ones rule this capital city is the Council, well...another elven Council besides the one in Asa Lande.
Khazad-Dum is the large underground metropolis ruled by the Dwarven King Falut Torhak, a very powerful Dwarf who controls Asarias minerals and decides whether a city shall get them or not. Many kingdoms are on good terms with Falut Torhak, though he can be rather devious at times only wanting what is best for him. This city is always beautiful because of the lights they use, their lights are glowing crystals that is said to be able to light a room forever as long as it’s in the dark. This city has many weapon smiths, the best in Asaria actually which is the place to go if you are looking for a weapon or enchanted weapon. Not only are there weapon smiths, but they make the finest jewelry as long as you can afford it. Khazad-dum is under the Misty Mountains which is north of Faeiya.
Enterance to Khazad-dum.
Timber Forest, a very odd forest filled with the strangest creatures you will ever find. This forest is on the edge of the continent to the northwest which people don't usually go that far up due to the dangers it possesses. Within Timber Forest you will find very strange inhabitants who live within this odd shaped forest with odd shaped trees. The people who live here are known as Shape shifters, beings who possess the ability to turn into any animal they can see. Another being who resides here are half animal and half human beings, they are more civilized folk that you can see living in small villages just outside of Timber Forest. The Shape Shifters on the other hand are a wilder sort who paint their faces, dress like wild animals, and who are perfect hunters. Not only will this forest make you feel strange, but it will make your head spine due to its maze like illusion it holds once you wander inside. Only those who dwell within the forest know how to navigate Timber Forest.
The Elven forest is the large forest that resides around the city of Faeiya. A typical forest filled with many vibrant and exotic animals of the Elven territory. Within the forest live the wood elves who hunt for most of Faeiya. Some Drow also resides in the forest in small huts or villages since they are more of a being who likes secluded areas rather then busy ones. Within the forest are many caverns, huts, and a few dungeons in which used to be temples though now nature has taken back the temple but treasure is still hidden deep inside for any brave adventure willing to risk their lives for such glory.
Located north of Lyre is the dark Forest Of Yorn, a place of pure evil. Those brave enough to travel through a forest filled with werewolves, vampires, undead, wisps, dark witches, and everything that’s unholy is those brave enough to actually live through the journey. Not many who venture into the thick forest come out alive. Those who travel within the forest hear inhuman sounds from the darkness, laughter of children from beyond the grave and ancient symbols that lead's to death. Many believe only the purest of heart can survive, but in reality all you need is a watchful eye and a strong heart in order to survive the trials within the forest. Not many inhabitants reside here, only vampires, werewolves, and dark witches who build homes in this large forest. The Forest Of Yorn is a rather mysterious place regarding ancient druids, cults, and various beings that lived here long ago. The forest itself is eerie, heavy fog constantly floods the forest and for some magical reason the sun never shines in this area. It is said that a evil witch placed a spell upon this forest to keep the sun away because she was to frightened to see her own face in the reflection. That is just one of the many legends that plague this forest.
(( More to come. ))
