Once upon a time, like the makings of a fairy tale, six people from all around the world will embark on a fantastic journey in a world they've never known before, even in their wildest dreams. They come from all walks of life: young, old, rich, poor, of varying complexions, languages, and cultures. Today, they will all open an ancient book, all at the very same time, and at that time, their bodies will be suddenly thrown from their planet Earth and into the realm of Volta. The technology of the modern world is practically useless the way it was used before and skyscrapers no longer line the streets. In fact, there are hardly any streets at all.

Frightened as they may be (or invigorated, depending on the personality,)in order to go back home, these Outsiders must embark on a journey to find the original ancient book, from which all of theirs were made, but it won't be easy. They'll need a treasure map, of whose pieces are scattered across the land, guarded carefully by all sorts of dangerous creatures.
Fortunately for the Outsiders, there are Natives who are wary to their cause, who have the heart to aid them in their journey and protect them from harm. Unfortunately for the both of them, there are some who find that they are an abomination to their world and must be extinguished, or extremely valuable to hunt and sell, and even desirable for the purpose of experimentation.

Fear not.

If you place trust in yourself and each other, perhaps you will all reach home alive.

                            The country of Volta is an incredibly beautiful landscape and the premier spot to learn a trade, earn a living and raise a family. The land is spacious enough for wild felles in the springtime and giant dellibirds in the winter. It is truly a sight to behold to see the orange sun rise from the mountains and sink into the sea.

                            Then, there's also the scorching deserts, the freezing tundra, the haunted forests, the violent seas, the unforgiving mountain ranges, and the caves from which no one has ever emerged from. Not to mention the hundreds of species of creatures that want to-- and will try to eat you. There aren't many roads in Volta, simply for the fact that many have died trying to build them.

                            o1' - Ridalia, The Golden Kingdom
                            One of the three trade cities in Volta. Its culture reflects that of the Medieval kingdoms on Earth. They are followers of a religion that worships many gods and goddesses. Although the city is proud of its lineage, there are many immigrants and foreigners who live there, including elves, dwarves, and others creatures, and there is a strong middle class. Their royal family is considered to be the best in over a thousand years. Ridalia is flourishing. Although, they have a rebellious Princess, who may or may not have the interests of her people in mind.

                            o2' - The Gryphon's Gate
                            With the Gryphon being the mascot of the Eastern Kingdom, this gate is the primary gate for travelers. There is virtually no way to get through unchecked.

                            o3' - The Rhine Hills
                            These beautiful hills in the depths of the East Wood are home to the faeries. It is lush with wildlife, plants, and magic. Unfortunately, the faeries are not known to be friendly creatures and if you find your way in, you will be lucky to find your way back. The faeries use the butterfly as their mascot.

                            o4' - Refugee Village
                            Ever since the plague on the islands of Samosa, the survivors have taken shelter in this tiny village. The King has control of this village and regularly sends aid their way.

                            o5' - The Wood of Resting
                            As the name suggests, this area of the East Wood offers the only opportunity to rest along a lake before reaching the mountain range. Since many travelers take their rest here, bandits frequently hide in this area.

                            o6' - The Samosa Islands
                            A once grand city of the sea, the prime fishing spot for vendors and tourists alike, the people of Samosa have unique abilities, and although they appear human, they share a kinship with the sea creatures here. In the last year or so, there was a deadly plague that spread across the islands, killing all of the wildlife and plants that grew there. The survivors are living in the refugee village off shore and those who are found to be infected are executed out of safety. Their mascot is the Octopus.

                            o7' - Radewood
                            Not truly a 'Wood' at all, this cave leads to an underground city, where illegal dealings are done. The shadiest of people meet in Radewood to trade, barter, and 'settle' their differences with other traders. It is not a safe place to be if you are rich and/or beautiful. Radewood chose the rabbit as its signet.

                            o8' - Illasidium, The Elven Kingdom
                            Although considered not by many, this is the second of the three great trade centers in Volta. Some do not consider Illasidium a trade center because it is so difficult to get there if you are not a native, but the fact is that nearly 45% of Volta's wealth comes from the elves. The Kingdom is located in the middle of the map, in between the Black and the White Mountains. They have the prime stock of minerals and precious stones, and are the very best at crafting armor and weapons. It is no secret that many other Kingdoms want to take control of Illasidium, so the elves are not very fond of outsiders. Their mascot is the mighty stag.

                            o9' - Hamadakura, The Desert Kingdom
                            Nearly a polar opposite of Ridalia, this Trade City is the largest of the three, with a spider as its emblem. The nation is controlled by a greedy King, who taxes his people to such extremes, that there is virtually no middle class society at all. This Kingdom boasts the richest citizens in the world, beside a slum of starving and dying people. Creatures of all walks of life visit the city to trade and sell their wares. Crime is rampant, and prostitution is considered to be highly profitable. Although the city is dirty, Hamadakura has the best military in the country. Currently, its kind and generous Prince is missing.

                            10' - The Webs
                            A series of caves sprout from the desert sand, lined with the blood of creatures large and small. This is where the spiders are.

                            11' - Lakh
                            Lakh is a village that is home to the few remaining desert elves. They did not originally live there, and their territory used to spread along the entire desert region. Many years ago, when they threatened the growth of Hamadakura, the desert elves were wiped out and forced to live in reservations given to them by the King. Now, they live primarily in solitude, where their numbers are dwindling, working the sea ports. Their mascot is the crow.

                            12' - Clovis, the Holy Mountain
                            Yardhis is the religious center of the world, for all religions, as it is believed to be the place where the great dragon descended from the heavens and created the world. It is a friendly town, when people are not arguing about their beliefs. There is a stone dragon that circles the top of the mountain. No one knows how it got there or how it was made.

                            13'/14' - The Caverns
                            A simple route of tunnels that leads from one side of the canyon to the other side.

                            15' - The Blue Canyon
                            Named for the fact that the color of its rocks is literally as blue as the clear sky, the Blue Canyon was originally thought to be a giant lake. No one lives there, but it is the only place where everything grows blue.

                            16' - Paradis, the Blue City
                            A cliff city, made from blue stone from the Canyon, it has been abandoned for thousands of years. No one knows for sure what happened to it, but its appearance and rumors surrounding it are enough to give anyone the creeps.

                            17' - Silverleaf
                            A small elf settlement for tired travelers.

                            18' - Pickering
                            An island where it is said that the plague came from. No one has been there or left there since.

                            19' - Abandoned Town

                            20' - Melodia, the Crystal City
                            Not a trade city at all, it is located deep in the frozen tundra, where it is hard to imagine anyone lives. The people of Melodia don't like outsiders and will usually take them prisoner if they are caught. An ice-hearted Queen rules over this city, but no one has ever seen her. She is said to be a witch and makes her presence known by turning people who disobey her into solid crystal. The signet of Melodia is the wolf.

                            21' - The Forbidden Peaks
                            No one has ever been to these islands and come back to tell about them.

                            o1' Main Circle
                            Home of the silver pine, a brilliant white tree that stands for the immortality of the city.

                            o2' Crafting District
                            Where all famously intricate armor and weapons are made and all rare ores and jewels refined.

                            o3' Shopping District
                            Where goods can be bought. It isn’t anywhere near as dirty as the marketplaces in other cities, and the people aren’t nearly as ugly.

                            o4' Political District
                            Where all elves important to politics reside. Judges, lawyers, generals, etc. The five council Houses are located here. The five Houses are named: Aeroniel, Altariel, Oronra, Eledhren, and Surion

                            o5' Housing District
                            Where all elves live. It is separated by middle class and high class. High class elves normally have secluded properties.

                            o6' Slums
                            An area just outside of the housing district. Populated of mostly non-elves, but there are also many elves that live there. In order to be this poor, an elf must have been disgraced, family name taken from them because of some crime but were not exiled. All of these people are marked somewhere on their bodies and they are only allowed to work the lowest jobs.

                            o7' Learning District
                            A street populated by schools and universities dedicated to teaching anything from crafting, magic, business, general education, and the arts.

                            o8' Butchery District
                            Where slaughterhouses are located.

                            o9' Meeting Place
                            Where all council members gather to make important decisions regarding the well-being of their city. This place runs like a well-oiled machine and employs many. It is also in this place where court is held (civil and criminal).

                            10' Amaryllis Street
                            A long street within the market district that has the most expensive restaurants and the rarest luxury goods for sale. This street is always at the peak of fashion and boasts items from all around the world. Only the truly rich can afford these luxuries.

                            11' Lily's
                            The only government-sanctioned brothel/massage parlor in the city. It is incredibly expensive, but the place is clean and the escorts are all beautiful.

                            12' The Academy of Magic
                            A university located in the learning district dedicated to educating elves about the use of magic, its history, etc. Young students are required to take a year of classes here, but it isn’t mandatory after that. Many elves refrain from pursuing their education because of the high cost and lose the ability to use it over time. The elves that do hone their magic are extremely haughty, but powerful. It is rumored that there’s a society of witches within the staff.

                            13' Fields
                            The fields surrounding the city are full of crops and flowers. There are small ponds drawn from underground, but Illasidium has no fish.

                            An explanation of the abilities that have been entrusted to the eight Outsiders upon entering this world.


                            Witchcraft
                            An ancient art used by only those who have the blood for it. This Outsider was given the senses to conjure spells. Not as a wizard of legend does, however, but in the form of powders, serums, and bottled liquids. This person is able to mix all of these things together. Of course, the concoctions wouldn't work if a drop of blood from a witch isn't included. Witchcraft is highly illegal in Volta, as is the selling of their blood and spells because it is a dangerous art if used maliciously.

                            Necromancy
                            This Outsider was given the ability to mingle with the dead. The Necromancer cannot revive or animate a dead body, but they can speak to them and hear them, even after their body has gone. This person has an affinity to ghosts and can see them wherever they are present. Sometimes, these spirits have useful information to give, some need help, and some wish revenge upon the world. This is the only person capable of speaking to the Outsiders that failed and have died.

                            Invisibility
                            A legendary art, especially in Volta. It is extremely rare for anyone to have this ability and the closest one could ever get was chameleonism. This Outsider can become invisible to the world around them, an ability that many a thief would kill to possess. Any living thing that they touch while invisible will also become so.

                            Mother Nature
                            This Outsider was gifted with the ability to control plant life. They can accelerate or decelerate the growth of any plant, crossbreed plants into magical varieties, and hear the whispers of trees in forested areas.

                            Animal Tamer
                            This ability is another that is rare in the world. With it grants the talent of speaking to animals through telepathic means. This goes as far as mythical creatures as well. However, just because one can speak to the animals, does not make them a friend of the animals.

                            Mimicry
                            Also known as impersonation, This Outsider was granted the ability to make themselves look like anyone in the world. They can change their bodily features and even their voices to become someone else. The only downside to this ability is that one has to learn another person's mannerisms themselves.

                            Healing
                            The healer is capable of curing any minor ailment and any major ailment over a long period of time. For example, an arrow puncture could be cured in minutes, while a severed limb can be reattached overnight, a heart disease would take months and countless treatments. The Healer is mentally strong and definitely not squeamish, but their talents are in great demand and a vulnerable healer is likely to be kidnapped.

                            Shape Changer
                            This Outsider was given the ability to turn into creatures and other animals. Much like the Mimic of the group, only with animals. They can turn into any animal they've seen before.

                            Suspicious Characters

                            The Slave Traders
                            Slave Trading is said to be one of the oldest professions in the history of Volta. It started when women began to sell themselves for sex in the slums of large cities for money and valuables. Some entrepreneurial men decided to take the opportunity to kidnap these women and force them to sell on their behalf, keeping them hostage in order to take a percentage of her earnings in exchange for the lives of herself and her family (if she had any.) Although it was a taboo and often secretive act, men who were successful in their dealings became rich and famous among nobility, who would often request a certain type of woman for the night. Many of these high-profile nobles would spend tens, hundreds, and thousands in gold and valuables for the right kind of service.

                            As the business matured, it began to travel across the continent, finding gifted businessmen to do its bidding. Manny, of not most of these men and women would be captured and executed, while a select few would earn the respect and the business of powerful people, sparing them from the law. One of the most famous and well-known Slave Traders of antiquity was called, 'Salim, the Father of the Modern Slave Trade' and 'The Prodigy.' Salim was known for his ability to manipulate the law and create a business that ran as smoothly as clockwork. He was credited to bringing professionalism into the Slave Trade and was known to act more like a Boss, rather than a barbarian, as past Traders had been. Unfortunately, at the young age of only thirty, The Prodigy was caught off guard during a planned escape of his slaves. They tore him to shreds.

                            Now, the land of Volta is inhabited by only a few major Slave caravans, and several local houses that are located within large cities. Those who continue the Trade are considered very dangerous and formidable. Rarely do any of them maintain a choke-hold on the nobility and law-makers and it is customary for the most well-known to possess a fake identity to avoid pursuit. They are said to target anyone, especially young and beautiful men and women, and lure them from their homes, towns, and cities with the promise of love, riches and fame.


                            The Bandits
                            As with all great societies, there are always many groups of unsavory people and the most dreaded within Volta are bandits. These rogues travel about the globe, attacking travelers in order to plunder valuables. Though merchants and caravan drivers think these roving groups of rogues to be the bane of man and a pure evil, most of the bandits have chosen their life due to circumstance and not choice. Some may have been farmers whom had failed to yield crops for several years and, in order to remain alive, they joined the bandit ranks. There are also escaped slaves and prisoners that are unable to join normal society without being taken to their previous lives. Still others have joined the bandits for their own reasons, whether it be to rebel against someone or any other number of reasons. Regardless of their intentions when joining the bandits, these people have existed for many years and do not appear keen on disappearing any time soon.

                            Despite their divided appearance, many bandits (as well as some other unsavory types) have established The East Cliffs (facing the desert) as a main base of operations. This area has been chosen as it is isolated from the rest of Volta. The Mountain Range also provides a large natural barrier to prevent raids from the law ruling Volta from easily ambushing the bandits. Thus giving the bandits a place to rest easily in addition to a place for the five bandit kings a place to meet in times of emergency. The five bandit kings, as one may have guessed, are the five main leaders of the bandits throughout Volta. Not all bandits realize that they are under the rule of the bandit kings, but the bandit kings head the five largest bandit groups as well as fight with each other for looting territory.

                            Currency
                            In Volta, the currency was like so: Copper coins, used for meager things. Peasants scrambled for them at the bottom of the barrel. Silver coins, more valuable at about one hundred copper pieces each. Gold coins are considered the most favorable form of currency among middle class working citizens, valued at approximately one hundred silver coins. For anyone pretentious, who worked in even higher denominations that didn't feel like carrying around a heavy sack of coins, there was paper currency. Paper currency in Volta ranged from worth twenty gold pieces and higher: Twenty, Fifty, and Hundred.

                            THE RACES

                            Humans
                            Humans are by far the most populous group in Volta. This is the case all over the world, and for good reason.They are the most diverse group of people, more than any other race. Their hair and eye colors can be in any different combination. Their skin ranges from light to dark, and their builds are just as variable. It is because of this variability that humans are the most populous. They breed like rabbits, with any and every race.

                            Of all the races, the humans are the most well-balanced when it comes to battle. They are well adapted to using magic and more often than not, built well enough for physical combat. Humans are superior when it comes to sheer numbers, but fail in terms of unity. They are very independent and hardly loyal to anyone. They are rarely bound by honor and will often do things to suit their own causes as individuals. Humans are very impulsive creatures, but they are so varied in their characteristics that these generalizations couldn't possibly describe all of them.

                            Humans are located wherever there are people. There are some places in Volta where they do not live, such as the Rhine Hills, Lakh, Illasidium, and the Samosa Islands.



                            Elves
                            There are two types of elves in Volta: The Lakh elf and the Illasidium elf. They are almost completely different from one another, but both share the same ancestry.

                            The Illasidium Elf
                            Elves from the mountains consider themselves to be at the apex of humanoid development. They are extremely prideful and feel that their land is the best land there ever was. These elves live carefree lives, secluded in their city and boast a wealth that is unmatched in other parts of Volta. It is uncommon to see an Illasidium elf outside of their city, but unless they are exiled, they are usually very wealthy.

                            These elves are easily distinguishable, even in disguise. They are taller than the average human and have a lower muscle density as well. Tall and thin, they say. Never has a true mountain elf been born with a dull eye color. They are known for their vibrantly colored features. Green, red, purple, yellow, blue— bright eyes are a distinct feature for them. It is said that the brighter the eyes of a mountain elf, the more magic that flows through their veins.

                            Mountain elves are highly adept with magic, just as many humans are, if not better. It makes up for their lack of muscle strength and inability to be stealthy due to their unique appearances. Like any skill, however, magic must be practiced. Without proper training, there are a small percentage of elves that cannot use it at all. They are always looked down upon. These elves are highly in tuned with nature. It is known that they can hear the whispers of the trees, which is why they can find intruders before they reach the city.

                            The elves live according to a set of rules that discourages any type of violence in their city. They refer to themselves as brothers and sisters and have very closely knit families. Excluding massive amounts of wealth, their greatest advantage against any enemies is their loyalty to each other and sense of duty and honor to their own people.

                            Like Clovis, Illasidium is also run by a council. There are five major houses in the city and each house has appointed a council member. There are six council members: Five to represent the leading families, and one to represent the general public. They are the ones who lay down the law and motivate the people. There is no one ruler of the city, like Hamadakura and Ridalia.


                            The Lakh Elf
                            Nearly a polar opposite of their mountain cousins, the desert elves are dwindling into extinction. Following a major war that coincided with the founding of Hamadakura and extermination of the desert elves that once owned that land, the Dakuran army has done well to keep the rest of the elves in check, making it impossible to exact any kind of revenge on them. Although the war ended generations ago and the elf population is in no shape to ever try to take their lands back, they are still hated by the Dakuran government, who has no qualms about killing any who come near the city who don’t have permission from the King.

                            These elves are a lot more conspicuous than the mountain elves. They look like the average desert-dwelling human, save for their ears. Their features are characteristically dark, in skin, in hair, and in eyes. They are not as tall as the mountain elf, and have a higher muscle density than they do, which puts them in prime fighting condition well into their years.

                            There are several traditions that the Lakh elves hold dear to them. For one, they will never cut their hair unless they lose a battle against another desert elf. It is considered shameful to cut off one’s hair. Children are given weapons that are crafted with care, especially for their hands and painted with their own blood. To them, these weapons are an extension of their bodies.

                            Desert elves are not adept with magic at all. Some of them can never learn to use magic and those who do, boast very minor (and sometimes very strange) abilities.

                            It is thought that there are only about 300 desert elves left in the world, and that number is constantly dropping.


                            General
                            It is unknown what happens when a mountain elf breeds with a desert elf. Illasidium elves think very lowly of their desert cousins, and Lakh elves are disgusted by the vanity and waste that the mountain elves cherish. It is thought that a mixed child wouldn’t live past infancy and would be born deformed and dumb. This is not to say that it has never been done, but if there was a mixed elf walking somewhere around Volta, they haven’t made themselves known. Most of these preconceptions are based on fear of the unknown and the fact that neither race knows enough about each other to be willing to become allies.

                            Both races do not believe in capital punishment. Instead of putting to death someone who committed a severe crime, they are simply exiled and left to fend for themselves in the outside world.


                            The Manaborn (Created by K33LA)
                            Those born into this clan are granted the ability to control and manipulate mana, the magic which makes up all living things; it is the blood of the planet and the magic of life. Mana can be used offensively, defensively, and as powerful healing magic. However, due to the amount of training it takes to become proficient in its usage, most members of the clan can only master one of these three branches. The mana bloodline was once prevalent throughout the world, yet it has diminished greatly over the years due to being hunted for their abilities. Unfortunately for the few remaining survivors, the members of the mana bloodline have two distinctive qualities which prevent them from hiding their identity: they are all born with grass-green hair and eyes. Due to being saturated with so much mana (which is a similar green-turquoise color), this trait has been burned into the DNA of all those sharing the bloodline.

                                  The Gray Beast - Not named for its colour, but the region from which it came, the Gray Beast originally comes from the Gray Desert in the Southernmost continent. It is a domesticated animal that is easily trained and docile in the wild. Despite its well-mannered behavior, they are difficult and expensive to maintain, especially if they are in the hands of someone they have not bonded with. Gray beasts are slower than horses, but versatile travelers, prime for traversing both the desert and the tundra without much problem. There are stories of Gray beasts going out of their way to protect their owners.

                                  Popple Owls - Popples are delightfully playful birds found in the Black and the White mountains. They are made in every colour of the rainbow and don't grow much larger than the width from your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. Popples are poisonous to eat, but those who have survived their toxins say that every colour tastes different.




                            DANGER LEVEL o2' : Creatures that will attack if cornered, but are not aggressive.

                                  Tigerbear - An animal that lives deep in the darkest parts of the forests (all forests). The largest tigerbears are over twice the height of a human. The males boast massive horns that resemble wood, and sharp claws the size of a human hand. Tigerbears are not aggressive unless you trespass into their nests. A female with cub, if threatened, may have a danger level of 4. Otherwise, tigerbears are gentle, powerful animals that consciously protect the forests from harm. Fire can kill a tigerbear in minutes.

                                  Dal'Kin (Created by Angst Werewolf) - The Dal'kin are an elven bird, found almost exclusively in the Black and the White Mountains. They were bred by the Illasidium elves, who used the birds as scouts. While their reflexes were superb, Dal'Kin have very fragile bodies and many died. Magic was soon used to make metal armor part of the bird itself to prevent fatalities. Chicks are born completely covered in armor; as the bird ages, the metal plating is shed. Dal'Kin come in shades of blue, purple, and black and are about the same size as an eagle. They are easily trained, but can be violently temperamental when angered.




                            DANGER LEVEL o3' : Aggressive creatures that will attack on sight.

                                  Marajack - A aquatic reptile that only lives in cold climates. The snow elves hunt marajacks for their very hard outer shell, which can be turned into durable weapons and armor. A marajack's weak point is its soft underbelly. As a defense mechanism, it spews thick, black smoke out of its long tongue in order to escape.

                                  Liori - A liori is a species of electric eel only found in magically endowed areas, in shallow freshwater lakes. It is not advised to swim in a lake with a liori in it, because the eel can emit a electric charge powerful enough to paralyze a moderately sized human being, and kill a smaller one with ease. They are distinguished by their bright colours and two barbed tentacles that wrap around and latch onto whatever it can get a hold of. Liori have razor sharp teeth and can grow up to fifteen feet long. If you're lucky enough to catch one, their bones, blood, scales, and organs can be used in a variety of spells and their meat is delicious.

                                  Mawler - Large rodents about the size of a child that stand on two feet and have long swinging arms. They are foul smelling animals covered in a thick, soft fur that is commonly harvested for winter clothing. These creatures have long, sharp claws, and long, sharp teeth, with canines that can grow to be six inches long. They are easily enraged by bright lights. The mawler is indigenous to the northern caves and comes in many dull colours.





                            DANGER LEVEL o4' : If you encounter these creatures, pray to all of your Gods.

                                  Dakuran Sandworm- Native only to the Hamadakuran desert, although there are variations of the same species on other continents. If encountered by one of these giant sandworms unprepared, you are not likely to survive. Although attacks are rare, thanks to the city's feeding of prisoners to the creatures, there are still rogue attacks and a few fatalities every year due to the sandworms. It takes years for a sandworm to reach such a massive size. The only weakness a Dakuran sandworm has in on its inside. In order to defeat a sandworm, you must be swallowed by it first.

                            Witches are highly dangerous. If ever you come across a witch, do not provoke them, and immediately alert authorities.


                            In Volta, Witches are feared. There are many, but it is impossible for you and I to distinguish them from the average person. Witches are feared for good reason. Their abilities are endless and in some cases, very dangerous, but there are instances where a Witch's powers are used for good, sometimes with hilarious results.

                            Unlike Wizards, Witches don't conjure spells from their own hands. Their power lies in within their body-- their blood, their hair, their skin, etc. This makes it possible to take spells and store them for use later. These aren't limited to liquid spells, dusts, fibres, charms, or enchantments. However, these recipes are completely useless without the addition of Witch's Blood. Although other parts of a witch can be used, such as the hair, skin, or saliva, the blood is the most potent.


                            BASIC SPELLS
                            These consist of liquids and dusts made from materials found in nature They can be burnt into ashes or dried to create a dust, which can be bagged and thrown. They can be boiled and distilled into a liquid and kept in bottles for endless uses. They can also be smashed into a paste. Basic spells consist of explosives, low-level elemental spells, acids, potions, poisons, and adhesives.


                                    Fire Bomb - A Grenade-type weapons endowed with the element of fire.
                                    1 Red Salamander Tail
                                    1 Drop of Witch's Blood


                                    Ice Bomb - A Grenade-type weapon with the ability to encase someone in ice.

                                    Acid I - An acid that can eat through metals and cement, but nothing else.

                                    Cement - A glue that can stick anything to anything, and keep it there for an extended amount of time.

                                    Venom I - A poison that can make one nauseous, with flu-like symptoms.

                                    Medicine I - A medicine made from extremely common ingredients that can cure some aches and pains and minor ailments.
                                    2 Ounces of Common Snake Grass

                            INTERMEDIATE SPELLS
                            These are spells that are used on a more personal level. They require a sample from a second party in order to work. These include higher level medicines, personalized serums, love potions, and voodoo dolls.

                            ADVANCED SPELLS
                            These spells are labor intensive, and may require a greater amount of material than its predecessors. This is also the level that voice-activation comes into play, as well as heat and cold and other outside triggers. These spells may involve spinning mixtures into fibres, extensive distilling, and rare materials. End results include heat and cold resistant clothing, high level potions, lethal poisons, and explosive charms.

                            MASTER SPELLS
                            Enchantments. Both labor intensive and highly time-consuming, these are the highest level spells a Witch can hope to learn in their lifetime. They require copious amounts of meditation, memorization and concentration, and sometimes even another witch to perform. These spells make it possible to create protective seals that last years, alter the molecular structure of materials, accelerate plant growth, summon spirits, and completely change the appearance of another person permanently.

                            LEGENDARY SPELLS
                            These spells are considered legendary because they are either myths, or are incredibly difficult for even a Master to perform. These spells require a sacrifice to work, whether it is someone's mind, or someone's life.

                            ODD SPELLS
                            Sometimes, you just can't explain certain spells. These usually happen as a result of an accident, or experimentation. As they are discovered throughout the story, they will be added to this section.

                                    Body Switch - Switch yourself with someone else's body! Beware, don't prepare this spell in large amounts around people you don't know.
