The soft falling of the skies tears blessed the Rain Forest with life everyday, where others starve for the cool liquid in the Desert this Oasis thrives. The full Moon casts its silvery light on the tree tops, bathing everything in a glittery sheen. Not a sound reigns as the forest seems to be still as the mountains, so unmoving that nothing seems to disturb the stillness and the sound of silence. But not all is calm and beautiful, bright eyes open and glow under the cover of darkness. Lights dot the dampened colors and reflect in the night, shadow forms darting out of sight only to reappear again silently. Hushed whispers breathe just out of sight, warnings and longings.


Sunshine soon burst through the leaves and drown the shadows in light, giving everything a more healthy glow. New growth extends upwards towards the Sun, reaching with colorful fingers for the light. Lush foliage extends their spanning leaves and cast an emerald glow upon the ground, equally colorful flowers bloom and spread their rainbow hues along with the jade. Radiant wings take flight and stripes and spots can be seen in the patches of light, the calls ringing out and singing their desire and joy.


These are the callings of the Rain Forest and the creatures that dwell within it, you are a part of it as much as the next. Love and wonder are as abundant as much as death and pain, but will you give either of them..............or take it?

II. All profiles must be Pmed and approved by me and you will see what will get you admitted.
III. There is no god moding in this Rp, I hate it when people are acting like they are invincible or something like that.
IV. You must post at least once a week, if you do not then I will Pm you and if you do not respond then I will delete you.
V. No killing other chars unless permission is granted, and no auto-hit. Give your opponent time to dodge cause most likely they will have reflexes.
VI. If you are stuck and waiting for someone to post for your char I understand that, I3 will be reading the post so I will know who is stuck and who is not posting. If you are going out of town then please tell me okay?
VII. Please be semi lit and no chat talk, like 'I don't know with Idk' and try to use your pics in your posts. Not a requirement but I find it lets people know who they are talking to if they do not remember names. There are also sites out there that will make your pic smaller if you desire.
VIII. Be polite please, if there is a problem then Pm me and I will help solve it.
X. You are animals, not humans. Use your instincts and don't think you're smart enough to know how to use a knife, that's why we have claws and teeth.
XI. I will add more as necessary.

Bright emerald eyes opened slowly as darkness made its steady sweep across the land, darkness complete in the deep cavern. With barely a sound the creature dropped from the ceiling to glide down to the tiny pond that clear water dripped from the stalagmites, a long tongue sliding out of a black muzzle into the cool stillness. After a couple of sips he looked up at the faint scratching sound, being greeted by nearly a thousand different hued eyes staring down at him. Rising up he spread his leathery wings and gave a shrill cry, the others repeating the action before taking flight. A shrieking dark toned cloud of flying creatures spilled out of the cave in a wave, the Colony of Fruit Bats had awakened and sought out food.

Dakota

It was night time now and a young wolf dog looked around very frightened. She had been dumped in the forest earlier by her master and now she didn't know what to do. She felt bad about what had happened with the master's son but now she was alone and frightened. She was still young and missed the warmth of her mother. She had been running around the forest all day looking for her way home and now was lost. She was cold wet and hungry. She had tried to catch a fish in a nearby stream but had no luck. She trembled as she sat under a tree trying to think what to do next. Her mother never prepared her something like this. She whimpered a little and laid her ears back as she started to hear the night animals coming out. She heard strange noises too and laid down curling up trying to be quiet.

Dimas

Another day another perfect night to hunt. lHe was on the prowl now. His pwerful build redy to strike at any sound of prey he could hear close by. He was a mis fit but he fitin well in the forset as well. no one had stopped him yet, and it he kept to himself, no one would.

The bats swarmed out and went for their food source, eating the delicious plump fruits in the tree tops. The largest one that was he flew out and flew to a more lower hanging one, large plump grapes on the branches. Gripping it tightly he hung upside down, the branch bending slowly and groaning under his weight. He was by far bigger then any in his Colony, being part of the Alpha family of the biggest bats around. He plucked grapes off with his sharp teeth, the tree stopping its decent as he hung.

Dakota

Dakota tried to sleep but was startled by a dream and looked around. She saw she was still in the forest and she sighed. Getting up she shook herself and decided to go and try to find some water and maybe something to eat. It might help her sleep. She walked quietly under the trees and crouched down quickly hearing a strange sound. It was a colony of bats flying through the trees. She had never seen bats like these before but one close to the big fruit bat dropped something and she walked over and sniffed it. It was a piece of fruit. Sniffing it she picked it up and ate it. It tasted alright and she licked her lips and looked up and watched the bats. She figured that this would be alright for now if she ate the dropped fruit but she knew she would have to find some meat sooner or later.

Nothing got past his watch and especially something so close, his large emerald eyes focused on what he could tell wasn't a normal wolf. Experimentally he bit off a batch of grapes that was near him with his sharp teeth, the large bundle of watery fruit hitting the soft soil with a light bounce. He watched closely as he continued to snack one of his favorite fruit, watching closely for any false moves.

Dakota

Dakota jumped when she heard the grapes hit the ground. It was a large bunch of grapes and she tilted her head. Confused but grateful she went over and sniffed them. They smelled alright. She looked up at the bats and then went back to the grapes. She laid down and ate them really liking the sweet flavor. She hoped she wasn't taking anyone's food but she was fairly hungry herself. Though she would share what little there was if it came down to it. Soon the grapes were gone and she moved to lay under the tree and rested her head on her paws. Her ears twitched and perked up at the sounds as she tried to sort things out. She knew now that these bat creatures were good to follow around if she needed small amounts of food and figured she would rather use them to her advantage than hunt them. That and they seemed fairly small to her and not easily caught so she decided to not look at the bats themselves as food.

His intense eyes had been analyzing the creature up to this point, concluding that she, and it was female, was not a normal resident to the rain forest. So he spoke up, deciding to make sure that she was not a danger to his Colony. "You are not from here." His voice was cold yet soft, but spoke of a command that should not be ignored. One of the Alphas naturally he was commanding of his Colony, the other bats following him with little to no question.

Dimas

Nothing was out to night aparently. hat or it was all scared off by something. He had had a decent meal the night before so he could go with out if he had to, but why do that? As he walked through his teritory he came across a sent, and a strong one at that. Pulling back from the potency he shok his head a snorted to get it out.

Then, causiously he went back to investigate. It was an unfamiliar smell to him, though it reminded him of a preditor like himself vagely. This only was reason enough to trak it down but another reason came when he found a paw print in the mud. It seemed to be about the same size as him, maybe a little smaller. He was going to fight it now. If they wanted to hunt here they were going to have to beat him to do so.

Dakota

Dakota was startled and looked around. She stood up and looked up to see a small face looking at her. She tilted her head a little not sure if it was the bat that spoke to her or not but she wasn't going to be rude," Ummm...no I'm not. I don't even know where I am." She said and sat down still looking up at the strange creature.

"This is the Rain Forest, at the moment you are in someones territory. I rule the trees and skies, but down there you might have some trouble. You should leave, go back to where you came from." He stated rather coldly, outsiders were more or less not welcome. They disrupted the flow of things with their wanting to claim their own land, blood shed normally followed. It normally didn't concern him because he remained up high with his Colony, the trees where they got their sustenance weren't affected normally.
