Karissa felt the sunlight bath her entire room, birds chirped at her window, made her feel alive. She sat up and yawned softly looking at the two birds sing at each other. "I wonder what event we are to do today." She said in a soft tone. Karissa got up and stretcheed then headed into the showers, she turned on the hot shower and fog filled the bathroom completely and stripped herself naked before she stepped in, leaned against the wall and just stood there letting the hot water bath her whole body for while. She started having flashbacks of Megan fighting off the two cyclops while the three of them ran for the camp, one of them threw her and slammed her body to the point she can't move anymore. Her body laying on the cold ground, crystal blue eyes stare at the skies wishing for the gods to come to her aid. Only one god came to her prayers, Zeus. Bestowed a gift upon her and that was to become a tree, a barrier that protected and saved the half bloods from monsters.

Still it stands tall and beautiful, but Karissa started to think something bad is coming and that the gods will suffer greatly for it. She realized she was in the shower a bit too long and quickly turned off the shower off and got out drying herself off with a towel and her hair, she combed it out gently while looking into the mirror and just stared at herself with a soft sigh escaped her lips. "Mom when will you answer me? Ever since dad told me about you, I need to see you." She wondered what her mother looked like, her dad only described her filled with so much beauty and kindness just like her, but she had to leave on important business that she couldn't disobey against Zeus. Karissa walked out the bathroom and puts on a Outfit that suited her best for todays event. She was happy to be here with people of her kind, they also let her decorate her Cabin the way she wanted it to be. Karissa stepped out the doors of her cabin and saw that many half bloods were walking around chatting, eating, and practicing their fighting skills.

She sighed softly and dipped her hand in the mirror and brought it back out towards her. Water formed on her hands and quickly dispersed into the air. "My dear daughter, we will meet but not now, soon. You must train and practice for what is to come." She also had the same feeling of something bad coming and just knew that it was the suffering that all gods feared most, Cronus. She walked away from the portal, it began to drip like water and fall down to the earth again. Aphrodite knew it was bad to communicate with their children, but it wasn't fair to stand by while the children stay on earth and not at their side to see olympus. But if its what Zeus command then Aphrodite can't disobey it or she will be killed or worse, punished.

It can bring the gods to their knees.”

Shan felt his heart pumping, as he was in the field that over looked the lake his bow in his hand as he was around several targets, as there were arrows in several of them almost in the hearts. He grinned softly and stood straight and stretched his arms up in the air, he coughed softly and hung his bow on his back. Along with his arrows, he walked and pulled out the remaining arrows and put them away before he walked back into main camp he looked around and saw some of his friends practicing he dodged one who swung a sword the wrong way. He chuckled softly and then spotted his friend Karissa, he nodded at her. She was the most beautiful in the entire camp, and yet he didnt really have much of a crush on her like the other boys did. He smiled gently as he walked over too her "Hello Karissa nice morning isnt it" he said as he looked at her smiling softly.

He then looked around it had been several years, and a part of him always missed his mother greatly and wondered if he ever went to the underworld that he could see her again, but he doubted that would ever happen.

Kaldor sat on a square birch wood table, he didn't use the chairs as they were less comfortable then sitting on the table. His legs were folded, just like he used to sit in school when their was a assembly going on. Placed gently on his lap sat a book, it was a book that Kaldor enjoyed to read allot, the whispering wilds of Thomas Duwit. A novel about a man who had traveled to save his daughter but Mr Duwit didn't do it because it was his daughter, he didn't even know that the two of them were related. Paid to do such a task, only to realise it was his daughter moments after her death. Kaldor enjoyed reading about misfortune, the amount of emotion on every page astounded him, even after the fifteenth read through, it still felt like the first time he had picked up the book and read it for the very first time. He admired the small things in life, such as keeping his room tidy, every single item he owned had a assigned place and if something was wrong he would spend the rest of the day correcting it if he needed to. Kaldor carried on reading minding his own business, a bird to his side gave a simple chirp but Kaldor did nothing, just let the bird stare at his stillness, occasionally moving a arm to turn the page of his prized book.

Karissa turned her whole body to see Shan walking up to her. "Yes it is a beautiful morning, its amazing how we've all been protected by Megan through these years." She half smiled and looked from afar at the tallest tree in the woods, she blinked a few times to keep from spacing out and looked back at Shan and punched his arm. "See you've been practicing your shooting? Something to expect from the son of Zeus, but tell me..." She leaned back on a fence and sighed softly looking to the ground. "Don't you ever want to see your parents? Just once? Every half blood here have not seen them and its eating me up everyday. I mean I know they mean to rather leave us in the hands of humans, but its just not right." Karisss crossed her arms and just shook her head. "All I'm saying is that, its not fair, not gonna whine about but just letting out about how I feel about all this." Karissa understood why they had to come to half blood camp, to train and be ready to take their parents place among olympus but she just don't get why Zeus would forbid the gods to see their own children. "You know what? I feel like fighting all this thinking off, wanna go one on one combat?"

Shan laughed softly, as she said he was the son of zeus he shook his head. "Remember I dont know I could be the son of any of the gods, but it would be awesome to be the son of zeus the most powerful god of them all" he said and nodded he looked back at her as he looked too the big tree, before looking back too her he listened and grinned "Ohh your on" he said as he winked, he jogged near the lake as some of the others noticed, and followed them shan was handed a sword and he twirled it in his hands, as he felt eyes watching him but it was coming from the skies he shook the feeling off as he breathed out and saw her getting ready. He grinned and when he saw she was ready, he pounced and swung low.


He had always loved doing one on one combat with her, as it seemed to always end in a draw and neither of them would win but he felt today would be different then the rest of the times they fought like this.

Karissa chuckled and followed Shan to the lake, she grabbed a sword and ignored the people coming to watch. "Don't show off for the ladies Shan, and take it easy on a girl like me." She said with a grin. Karissa flipped the sword in the air and swiftly caught it and brought it to Shan's neck and winked. "I feel this will be a match to never forget." She laughed softly and dodged the hit. "Oooh." She backed away slowly and swiftly swing her leg around to trip him and bring the sword to his neck again. "One point for me."

Shan grinned as he saw her have the sword too his throat, he chuckled and dodged the attack, he flipped over her his sword at her neck "Yea i think it will be" he said as he noticed a storm beginning to roll in, he frowned softly as that never happened before. But he tried to ignore it, as the rain began to fall and the sky went dark making everything darker and soon lightning began to flash in the skies as he moved back from an attack she had just done, he was breathing fast as he heard a voice in his mind telling him to duck. He quickly ducked as something with claws jumped over where his had been standing. His eyes were wide, as this was new for him as lightning flashed there was a fury heading for him. He flipped and kicked it under the chin, then he felt it scratch his chest and he winced before everything began to go dark.

The last thing he saw was a lightning bolt coming down, and going through his hands and through his body before leaving his hands and hitting the fury turning it into ashes then he fell too his knees and fell down blacking out.
