It was Spring time marking St. Jude’s High School Senior Class annual trip to Tokyo, Japan! Sadly, only seniors with good grades were able to go on the trip. Also, it‘s optional to attend the trip, or not. This year, twelve students have journeyed from California, North America to Tokyo, Japan for two weeks of fun away from home. Each of the students were randomly placed into pairs since allowing them to pick their own partners would cause a childish argument. There were three boys and nine girls, so one of the girl’s ended up having to be partners with a boy. They got separate rooms, of course, but they were next door to each other.

On the second day the two were separated from their classmates and ended up wandering so far from the busy city that they found themselves in a park. They got something to eat then sat near the lake as they tried to contact one of the teachers they came with. However, no matter how many times they tried to call the cell phone would have a static sound on the other end. The boy got frustrated and threw his cell phone into the lake which caused the girl to become angry with him. The two began to argue and they were so into their argument that they didn’t notice the strange anomaly that was inching closer to them from the lake. By the time they noticed the phenomenon it was too late since it had already wrapped around both of them and pulled them into the lake.

As soon as they thought they were going to drowned they opened their eyes to find themselves surrounded by trees and completely dry despite having been in water. The lake behind them was much bigger than the one they were fighting in front of moments before. They were too baffled and shocked that they were in a whole different place that they didn’t realize a huge snake-like creature was slithering towards them. That is, until it was beheaded with the most sickening sound. The two teens turned around to see a group of villagers dressed in clothes that were normally seen in the Feudal Era. Both of them were smart enough to realize they went back in time. However, they didn’t get much time to ponder on how, or why because those villagers roped them and took them to their village.

All of the villagers were shouting “Demons! Demons!” and pointing at the two ‘strangely dressed’ teens. The leader of the village, who was an old man, silenced them, and examined the two teens. He turned to his people and told them that the two were not demons. They were untied and given some food, they were very hungry surprisingly enough. The village leader told them that once they finished eating he’d like to speak to them. Meanwhile, a sinister demon, having awoken the moment the two teens ended up in the era, grinned in the cave that imprisoned it. However, it could not escape the cave until the seals at the entrance were broken. Many other demons around Japan felt the arrival of the two teens because they possessed objects that attracted the demons to them and some will be in the village within the hour.

As it says in the first post this role play is Literate to Advanced Literate. It's simple to explain and understand. If you can type five or more paragraphs then you are most welcome here! However, if you cannot live up to that then don't bother joining. Also, this role play will not be all fast for you speed posters, so don't try to rush others since it takes time to make nice posts with little to no errors. Other requirements:
_ → Post at least once a week.
_ → If you have writer's block then try to get at least three paragraphs at least.
_ → Proper grammar.
_ → Proper punctuation.

When making a reservation for the role play be sure to include everything that is needed in the reservation: The role title, character name, age, and etc. Don't forget anything that is asked for in the reservation especially the simple things. I will reply whether you can start on a profile, or if you need to edit your reserve.

Having things like the location, who they're with, their mood, and their attire are all optional. Also, if you have a huge picture in your post I will have to ask you to change the size so it doesn't take up so much space.
_ → Use font size 10 or 11, any smaller and I will tell you to change it.
_ → Do not just skim posts because you might miss something important by doing that.
_ → No anti-social characters, even if they are anti-social. Just be sure to interact with others.
_ → Do not use extremely bright, or dim colors, they are difficult to read.
_ → Don't have your characters swearing up a storm.
_ → Little Out of Character messages are allowed in your posts, but if you want to chat with someone take it to the OOC since that's what it was made for.

Like mentioned in the general rules do not go over the PG-13 limit with fights. Sure you can chop someone's arm off, but only if they say you can. What I'm getting at is, nothing too gruesome please. Also, not every attack can be dodged, so make sure that during a fight you allow your character to take some hits in your post. Ask permission from the player of the character before doing the following:
_ → Auto-hitting, it's rude unless you are slapping, or punching them a single time.
_ → Killing characters, but if the role play is full and the person has quit then it is no longer their place to say what should happen to their character.
_ → Starting fights with them.

A male who is driven as well as cocky, Hotaru could come off as uncooperative to those who try to work with him. He has a stubbornness about him that makes him borderline suicidal, unwilling to give in to any challenge, even if it threatens his own life. It is hard for Hotaru to make friends with people because of the aforementioned traits, as well as his tendencies to make snide, backhanded, and sarcastic remarks. Growing up without much, Hotaru’s main goal in doing just about anything is become the best at it and his usual personality of parading himself around is a way of convincing himself that he can do it. Needless to say, Hotaru is competitive and never backs down from whatever odds are stacked against him. He was accepted into St. Judes on a scholarship program, being allowed to enter the elite school because of his grades in school. As it stands right now, Hotaru is not concerned about him

Anna may appear to be a fragile girl, but she's not, and she really dislikes being underestimated just because she looks like a weakling. She's stronger than most think, though not as strong as a demon, obviously. Sadly, she's the type of person that will not willingly give up unless she has no choice. However, she'll still try to find ways around whatever is blocking her way. When she was young she was a troublesome child to deal with because she would get into fights with others. Which is why she ended up in St. Jude's because they had a no tolerance for fighting and it was also an elite school with classes K through 12. She ended up being molded into the person she is today. As for Anna's view on what's happening to her right now, she's shocked because it all seems like something that belongs in a manga.

Kasumi grew up in the local village as a supposed orphan that the leader took in. None know of her true origins accept her and the leader. Her opinion of the two new comers is undetermined, since she has only seen them once so far, and that was when the snake creature attacked, since she was the one who got rid of it, and disappeared after, since she heard the local villagers. If you ever see her though, it will most likely be at night, since she prefers to be up then to protect the village from harm. During the day, she sleeps, but most villagers just assume she is ill and leave it at that. However, you must have a very good reason if you seek her out, or she will walk away without a word.

There are a few poems and songs about him, but modest as he is he doesn't acknowledge them in public.

What is there to tell? Oh yes, that small detail where he tried and failed to steal the Shinsei Houshoku but instead got a little too distracted by the all to attractive sister of the Priestess he was trying to steal the jewelry from, the Priest he could care less about, however. This landed his happy rear into an prison that is a nice little cave with a charming view of freedom that teases him every day. Now that the seals that keep him held within the cave are slowly decaying now that two little brats managed to find their way here to this era, Raijin fully intends to get back what was almost his and return the true mastermind that was behind this little mishap.

Raijin was well known for his strong psychic abilities as well as illusion powers that used to terrorized the lands and its people. He was said to be a very cold, demeaning creature but he does have some compassion in him, if he sees someone as an useful object, then he is more than willing to work with them, giving into their desires until he finds a way to break them. For that reason, he is sweet tongued and full of wonderful sarcasm. Oh yes, to make him and even more wonderful individual, he has a strong attraction for beautiful women, which is how he got stuck in this place to begin with.

Except for Haito. Haito ended up staying thin, not developing the voluptuous curves of her sisters or the similarly large set of breasts. She also kept a very 'man' outlook on life. Wanting to learn to fight and train with the boys of their clan than to wear makeup or dress pretty. So, she was raised as a son, instead of a daughter. As such, she doesn't really act the way a woman " should" act. She doesn't mind striping down and doesn't act nervous or shy around men. To add, she also doesn't understand 'pick up lines'. Trying to hit on her is a lost cause and pointless. Feeling the power of the jewels, she was sent out with a group of other men to investigate and retrieve the artifacts for their clan leader.

Although, she isn't one to be messed with. She's known for being cruel, well to girls at least. Known for having a pure white dog pack following her, they usually carry out her duties. But those who have seen the princess's true power usually don't have a mouth to tell anyone about it afterwards.

Kaito is a little bit of a strange one for being a demon lord. As odd as it may seem, Kaito and his clan keep mostly to themselves and stay away from demon hunters to avoid large conflicts. His people strike like the wind, acting as thieves to get supplies, and yet they avoid directly harming people to ensure that they are not hunted down. This is all because of Isuma Kaito's ideas of striking for survival, and then disappearing into the night. He is one of the youngest Lords that any in the clan have ever seen, even the elders that offer advise to him to keep the people happy find him to be the youngest Lord they have ever seen. He is most formally known as the Phantom Thief to those who have had the misfortune of attracting his attention. It is rumored that, if he desired it, he could steal the very soul from a persons body. If this is true, no one is sure aside from the phantom thief himself.

Confusing Aala as to why, though it might have something to do with the tugging she felt at her gut at the sight of them. So she will probably be following these two around just for a good story to tell the others when she eventually goes home.

Natsuki is known as Kage no Kougou (Shadow Empress) due to the type of demon she is and because of her powers. Her power over shadows makes it seem like her existence is nothing more than a shadow since she uses the shadows for pretty much everything. She threw away her surname the day she became Kakūmaru's second in command. She's highly respected by the lower ranks under the Demon Lord's rule. She is extremely loyal to him and has his best interest at heart. Not once has she ever got on his bad side, if she ever did it would be possible that he's rid her from the world. Over the course of her life she's grown use to Kakūmaru's habits and quarks. As for the Shinsei Houshoku, yes, she felt the surge of power as those items re-entered the era after the seven years that they mysteriously vanished.

Q: The Two From the Future have a connection to Feudal Era Japan?
A: Yes. Whether it be they are descendants of someone who's still living. Or the the reincarnation of someone that had died years before they arrived in the past. Either of those can be used.

Q: What's so special about the jewelry they have with them?
A: The jewelry, the necklace and bracelet, are sacred items that were created during the early years of the Feudal Era. They were called Shinsei Houshoku (Sacred Jewelry). The jewelry are what caused the lake to react the way it did and pulled the two into the past. They have tremendous power and attract all sorts of trouble. It will protect the holder with a shocking barrier that will activate if anyone who tries to steal it, but if they're willingly given away then there is no reaction. As to how the two acquired them, they got them as a souvenir from a shrine that was selling lookalikes, but somehow the real Shinsei Houshoku were in the mix and were sold to the two of them.

Q: What of the demon sealed inside the cave?
A: He was sealed inside that cave by a deceased priestess and priest who were guardians of the Shinsei Houshoku at that time. The demon has a power over illusions and used them to wreak havoc on every town and village he came to. When he heard of the Shinsei Houshoku holders being in the village he's sealed near now he attempted to manipulate the feelings of the priestess that had the bracelet, but failed and was sealed in the cave. The seal has weakened now that the two from the future are present and he can use his illusions to get them to release the seal if he wants. The demon was on a mission to attain the Shinsei Houshoku for the true antagonist he works for. But he was distracted by the priestess' sister, which is how he failed to get a hold of the bracelet.

Q: Should we use Japanese honorific?
A: You can if you want to, but it is not mandatory.

Q: How are we going to go about the interaction in the start?
A: I've thought of that quite a bit. In the beginning not everyone will be interacting with each other right away, but in time everyone's characters will be be interacting a lot more.

Q: Who is the antagonist in this role play?
A: No one. I know you're thinking "What the hell?" right now, but their is no true villain in the story. However, if someone wants to create the main villain of the story, whether it be human, or demon, I would be happy to let that happen. Also, it only seems like the sealed demon is the villain of the story, but he's not.
Correction, there will be one, but the role will not be added until after the sealed demon has been freed from the cave.

Q: Can the Two from the Future return to their own time?
A: No, they cannot. The lake that pulled them into the Feudal Era will not return them to the future. They must find other means to return to their time.
