An exploration of the human breaking point and the psychological and sociological experiences of human calibration, this role play will send the characters into a sea of desperation that will open the senses to emotions and feelings never before experienced, altering their very ways of thinking for better or worse. Leave your childish antics at the door; welcome to Correlation.

                Classified Documentation

The following documents were considered by the scientists to be much too vital in their secrecy for the President, Congress, and the Media to know. They hid these documents and guarded them so that no one can lay their eyes on them. All information is classified and should not be copied or distributed. All documents are thirty days apart.

                xxxxxxxxxx October 2, 2012

For thirty years we have been conducting research based on viruses, bacterium, and pathogens that cause malaria, gonorrhea, HIV, STDs, and cancer. For thirty years we researched the effects of possible cures on an exemplary array of animals: horse, sheep, chicken, cows, mice, rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, birds, and the like. For thirty years we have eaten into our funds, failing time and time again, wasting it up to the point where we almost had to close down our group. The President, who changes every four to twelve years, and who trusts us to create a vaccine for the dangers of the world, gave us one more chance to work on the new serum. We couldn’t fail this time around.

With a check of $5,000,000,000.00 we got to work on our latest and very promising serum, No. 7456, or otherwise known as Llembo. Llembo contains the mixture of Mercury, adjuvants such as mineral oil, preservatives, and gelatin. Within the mixture is the strain of a new virus recently discovered in the deep sand dunes of the Sahara Desert, Depurva Iinchton. The Depurva Iinchton is a rare, but serious viral disease that, once in the body, multiplies at the rate of 1.45x10^12 per hour. Symptoms for the first hour are diarrhea, dehydration, nausea, coughing, nose bleed, and a sore throat. Symptoms after three hours are joint pains, intense muscle cramps, numbness, drowsiness, and nausea. Symptoms after five hours are intense chest pains, loss of appetite, loss of energy, intense weight loss, thinning of the body, internal bleeding (purple spots all over your body), and nausea. No one diagnosed with Depurva Iinchton survived after five hours.

A rabbit diagnosed with heart worms was the first or surprisingly many test subjects of the new serum. Besides the heart worms, the rabbit had white fur, blood red eyes, strong, bulky buck teeth, average blood pressure, average breathing rate, average heart rate, and average endurance. A 100mL needle was prepared. After injection results were recorded over a span of four days. During the first three days, there have been minor changes in the rabbit’s appearance, reaction to it’s surroundings, and internal chemistry. On the fourth day, much to the shock of all the scientists, the rabbit had no symptoms of heart worms. After a few more tests, the rabbit’s natural immune system had developed an immunity towards not only worms, but all Leporipoxavirus strains and other virulent poxvirus strains. To prove to ourselves that it in fact worked, we tested it on several more animals the following day. Four days later, they were all cured. This was a time of celebration.

That never came to be. Nine days after being cured of it’s ailments, the rabbit died of an outbreak of malignant tumors IN the brain and the implosion of it’s chest. We were all horrified at the image that was left behind by the violent death. During the autopsy, we learned that the heart imploded, causing the veins around it to collapse on itself, causing dozens of tumors to develop in it’s brain at a traumatic rate. After the autopsy, we were fearful that it would happen to the animals.

We were right. Some of the animal’s colons and large intestines rotted and turned into a paste, while others has more violent deaths, such as over-gnawing on anything, slamming faces into walls, biting themselves until they ripped open their bodies, and the same gruesome effects that happened to the rabbit. We did the only thing we could do after that; we stored the bodies for future research and worked on the next serum.

                No. 7456b.

One more month, several more failure, hundreds of stoppable deaths caused. It seems that whenever we seem to of gotten to crack the code to stop all diseases, somehow it manages to fight back and completely destroy our research. Time and time again we seem to fail, causing innocent animal lives to dissipate into the depressing darkness of life, never to fully witness the beauty in the nature around us, though we may pollute it with our waste, our disposables, and ourselves. It’s a sacrifice we have all committed to, a sacrifice we knew we had no choice but to uphold once the research commenced. We knew this kind of incident would happen, but we went along with it anyway. Good thing PETA doesn’t know of our work or else we’d have our funds cut away.

As for our failures, we have gathered enough information to now understand that whenever an animal is completely cured of it’s disease, the body tends to act erratically after a short period of time. This has been proven time and time again, each reaction more violent than the last. At first it was implosions and head bashing. As the Serums become stronger, so did the animal acts. They bit through their metal cages, causing their teeth to sink deep into their heads, possibly stabbing into the cranium, jabbing into the brain, causing internal bleeding and head trauma. Animals chew through their own legs, never stopping to think rationally, then, as if they still had feeling on their legs, walked towards other animals and killed them. We were so close, but yet, as we witness these gruesome events, we are far from ever completing it.

There was one special case, however. We injected 100mL of our latest Serum, No. 8124f, into a pure bred Labrador Retriever who had the illness Lyme Disease. Yes, the dog did end up dead like all the others, but it was the way she died that baffled us. Just like all the others, she was cured. But a few days later, we just found her lying in her cage dead. There were no signs of violence, no signs of resistance or broken bones. During the autopsy, all of her organs were intact. Nothing rotted. Nothing exploded. Nothing imploded. It was a real mystery for us. Though we tried as hard as we would, we never figured out how this might of happened. What happened next horrified all of us here in the institution.

As one of our scientists walked past the body drawers, he heard faint sounds coming from one of the drawers. Intrigued by the sound, he decided to investigate and slowly opened it. As he took it out, he noticed the black bag wildly jumping about, gurgling sounds coming from inside, snapping sounds that feel like they’re going to rip open the bag and snap into your face. Dismayed, he called one of the pathologists to check it out. When they opened the bag, the creature inside jumped out and landed on top of the pathologist. Revealing it’s teeth, it bit deep into the pathologist’s throat, ripping a significant chunk from his body. He instantly died. The other doctor, now afraid for his life, turned on the fire alarm, but was not quick enough to escape the room. The creature took him down and bit his face off, leaving him to bleed to death.

Eventually, the beast was brought down by security, several shots to the body and one to the head. During another autopsy, it turned out to be the same Labrador Retriever that died without incident. This raised many questions: What caused it to die? What caused it to come back to life? What made it so aggressive? Why did it attack humans? Why didn’t it stop attacking when it was shot directly at it’s heart? These questions baffle us, not knowing where to begin such a feat. With two scientists dead, and if the President found out, things would turn out for the worst for our Organization.

                xxxxxxxxxxDecember 1, 2012

This seems almost impossible to be true. Here we are, scratching our heads as to how we managed to do it. It amazes us as to how this could of truly happened. People said it couldn’t be done; it was a feat impossible to comprehend, as if this were a movie. Yes, a movie, where things turn out for the best in the end, having it end on a happy note. Then... then what? Would there be a sequel that would explain what happened afterwards? Would there be a spin-off television show that continues the story? If only. But this isn’t a movie, nor is it a television show. This is real life. This event is real, much to the dismay of everyone in this organization. But there will always be this feeling of regret - the regret of not stopping this when we had the chance. We should of; we could of! But we didn’t. We let our wild ambitions take the best of us, brainwashing ourselves that it was for the best of humanity.

Our serum, No. 8124f, had the capabilities of reanimating corpses. This was proven to us when we tested it on a human who signed a release form stating that we could use his body for science. He was still alive, which many found extremely unethical, but we needed him alive. What was more unethical is that we tested it on him exactly 48 hours before the death of the Labrador Retriever. We were still not sure on it’s side effects on humans, but we were almost out of funds. In reality, we had no choice. Time and money was very tight and we had to make a very difficult decision.

Benny Jetson, the volunteer guinea pig, was first tested for any diseases and his health. He was at a relatively young age, 33. He had an average weight of 176lbs. He was 6'3". Both his heart and pulse rates were normal. Cholesterol levels were average. Blood pressure was normal. However, he had lung cancer caused by his addiction to cigarettes since the age of 18. For a smoker he had strong lungs, which he explained was because he enjoyed jogging to ‘clear his lungs of the smoke he inhaled.’ It didn’t work. He was injected with 100mL of Serum No. 8124f and was tested once every Twenty-Four hours. Just like all the other test results, his Lung Cancer was completely obliterated from his body. This was when the real testing started. Through a whole week, scientists examined his reaction to the things around him, any changes in personality, health, and memory. He was normal, beside the fact that he could finally breath and could jog five times faster and longer than the first time he was tested.

Just like the Labrador Retriever, he died in his sleep. During the autopsy the cause was finally discovered. Through the power of chemical testing, it was discovered that the Serum was eating away at the point of connection between the spinal cord and brain, causing the body to lose control of normal body functions, such as breathing. This suffocated the test subject, ending their life in their sleep. We called it a Case Closed, discarding the failed Serum and putting away the body in the freezer, along with all the other animal carcasses. After the incident with the dog shortly before the death of Mr. Jetson, we made sure that we were ready for just in case Mr. Jetson did end up reanimating. We upgraded our equipment to study his anatomy as a reanimated corpse instead of just killing it. Maybe, just maybe, if we can get enough information out of the reanimated corpse, we can use this new-found knowledge to create a serum that can revive cells destroyed by ANY ailment. Just imagine it. The power of God in an injection needle. This kind of invention can keep millions of infected alive. This is the miracle that we so desperately needed. This is the miracle we have been waiting for.

Dear God, I Can't Believe We Have Done It.

                We Have Found The Cure.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Literacy
_____After much consideration I have decided to make this role play a literate to advanced literate. That said I expect no less than three paragraphs minimum, housing no less than eight complete sentences minimum. The reason for such a high count is to weed out the dedicated roleplayers from the casual roleplayers. This role play demands a high caliber of details and support. When posting, your posts should have a post decoration, that way we can have a visual of your character plus anything else you would like in your decoration. When there is dialogue, quote it and give it a different color (and use dark colors, nothing too bright). If your character is thinking italicize it. Only use font 10 (or 9 if you prefer the smallest readable text available that doesn't fuzz out your words).

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Posting
_____Absolutely no one is allowed to post in the main thread until your application has been accepted. Under no circumstances may anyone post out-of-character unless it is accompanied by role play text. If you have any questions please post in the OOC thread, or PM me for your answer. If it concerns the current events in the role play ask the roleplayers in the OOC thread. Since this role play requires you to write short essays I will permit at a minimum four posts a month to give you time to proofread and assimilate the words you choose to express your inner character. If you cannot meet that demand, then you will be removed from the role play. If you need to be away from Gaia for an extended period of time then both PM me and post your reasons on the OOC thread.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Characters
_____Absolutely no one is immune to the virus (or diseases for that matter). Luckily for everyone, people can only be infected through the physical touch of someone that has been infected. Thus, if a zombie bites you, you are already considered dead. Do not auto-hit another character, and do not murder any other character unless both parties have agreed to go through that route. Do not play as God, but you can pretend to be (God Complex; disorders). Make your characters as real as possible. If you are 17 chances are you do not know how to fight (unless you joined a gang, where they force you to brawl). Chances are you don't know how to operate a handgun, let alone a semi-automatic rifle. Do not claim you are a terribly gifted person (I will accept at least one to three of these types of characters).

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Physics
_____Despite being a zombie role play, real life physics works the same here as it would in your everyday life. If you jump, you will not jumped ten feet high and start to fly. If you aim at someone, you will not hit them immediately. You cannot run for an infinite amount of time. Your blunt weapon can and will expire eventually. If you bruise yourself on something, depending on the wound size it could get infected or it could heal up right away. If it is something much more serious, like a sprung ankle or a broken or missing body part, you cannot automatically put it right back in and pretend it didn't happen. Write out the experience and if you're lucky you might just survive long enough to see salvation.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Other
_____More will be added as it is thought out.

A civilization on the brink of destruction; the world enlightened by the end

After twenty days of horrifying procedures, protocols, and experimentation, it finally fell apart, and the reanimated corpses escaped from the test facility. Located on the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, the army of living dead shambled through any resistance, killing anyone and anything in their path, bringing their numbers up. A plurality of members of the United States Senate and House of representatives knew about these completely unethical tests, but have decided not to allow the Executive branch, or the remainder of the Senate and House of Reps. to have access to this information. Under a different codename, these few Senate members managed to manipulate the President to sign the order to send a portion of their army to fight off a 'rebellion.' The deception would only be discovered if the living dead were not contained within the borders of Colorado.

Unfortunately, a small town that homes just over 36,000 people is in the way between a breach of national security and salvation. This town would be the epicenter of a war between those that want to live, and those that have no choice but to kill. 36,000 innocent bystanders would be in the crossfire of two powerful armies. Some will join the U.S. Army; others will join the legions of the living dead.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

A Friday afternoon, the children are still in school. The adults are busy with the jobs they had grown accustomed to, and the streets remain relatively light. The suburbs remained rather silent, but the busiest place would be the mall, even if it is a weekday. Some students and workers may have had a 'free day' and gone to the mall to enjoy a movie, food, or have gone shopping to buy late presents for a friend or loved one. The normal life of a city in the size of a grain of sand. The first place to show signs of infection is the edge of the town, where the suburbs stood their ground. For the few people that walked down the street, the strangest thing they had noticed was a beat-up man walking down the street. One good Samaritan tried to get the injured man to a doctor, but before he had realized it, the injured man sunk his teeth into the Samaritan's neck, ripping off a decent chunk.

A few people screamed and ran away, while three or four others sprang into action and pushed the guy away from the Samaritan. It was too late for him. Another person was bitten by the same injured guy. Another called 9-1-1. Soon there were screams coming from all over the suburbs, followed by the sounds of bodies thumping onto the blood-filled floor, drowning in their own bile. The infection would soon spread across the town, taking a toll on the townsfolk. It's now 3:16 P.M. Where are you in this nightmare?

                Enumeration
The rate of infection varies between persons. Some persons have vary an extreme tolerance for the infection, while others may have extreme reactions towards the infection. The time it takes to turn into a zombie is also dependent on the tolerance level of the person that has been infected. There are several determinants that affect tolerance levels, such as low levels of radiation, age, immune system, diseases, and disorders.

There is still a 1 in 8000000 chance someone may still have an immunity towards the infection.

The time it takes for the infection to affect the systems of your body vary greatly between the health of the victim, the activities the victim has been through, and any emotions that can create adrenaline in the system. People who take any kind of drug will speed up the process of infection. When infected, it is advised to cool the body down for your immune system to fight it. Despite its raging power, it is a fragile virus that can be destroyed when taken very seriously, though the chances of actually destroying the virus completely are very nil.

In a town with the population of just over 36000 people, you cannot say you have nowhere to run and hide. You could start in the school and make your way to the mall, or you could be at the police station wind up staying there the entire time! Anything goes when it comes to traveling, but know this: if you do decide to travel to another location, you cannot teleport there immediately (unless they are in a close proximity). Remember that there is always a threat of death anywhere, and that's how you write out three solid paragraphs (minimum).

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Schools
_____It may seem the more obvious choice after a while, but truth be told it is a very dangerous place to find yourself during the first few hours of an outbreak, or even days. As the schools were the most populated during the time of outbreak, the majority of zombies are located there. Here you could find simple medical supplies and rather powerful protection from the zombies, but when placed with too much stress, be prepared.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Suburbs
_____In my opinion these houses are relatively safe as long as EVERYTHING is shut completely and is heavily barricaded. If you chose a good home, chances are the doors and windows are already secured properly and is stocked with canned goods. In rare occurrences you might actually find a handgun with a few spare cartridges. These houses are a safe bet a few days after the initial attack.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Hospital
_____One of the few places you do not want to be for any reason except to resupply on medicines and bandages. As it is completely filled with doctors, nurses, and the sickly, the people here are much more susceptible to the infection and a small army would rise from it all, killing those that weren't infected and bring the body count up. It might be safer after a few days, but only time would really tell if it is inhabitable once again.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Prison
_____ Just ten miles away from the town a prison system was built to house the worst of the worst; child molesters, rapists, murderers. Heavily secured it is the safest place from the infection if you don't consider the prisoners inside. Once you do manage to get in, you'll have to face the trigger-happy guards of the prison along with the psychopaths that call this prison block their home, so to speak.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Mall
_____One of the more colorful areas in the town, it is also the most dangerous. As all doors are generally open the only thing that could actually protect you are the articles within the store. Anything can be used as a weapon. CDs, books, coat hangers, iron rods, umbrellas, toys, you name it. Be weary as the mall is almost always populated by the living dead 27/7, so there is no real safe place unless you manage to the roof where you could possibly be safe there for a few days until they finally manage to shamble up there, then you're ********]

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Government Complex
_____It may seem like a good idea at first, but if you even come near, they will shoot you down as if you were a zombie. Direct orders from the Senate gives them permission to kill anyone and anything that comes within twenty feet of it. Steer clear at all times.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Cemetery
_____As of 12212012 the the virus can only be contracted through a physical touch. It has not yet mutated into an air-borne strain thus keeping the corpses of the dead where they belong, at least until the virus decided to mutate, then steer clear of the cemetery.

                ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ St. Genevieve's Anglican Church
_____You're ********. If you try to make your way into the church, you MUST be a white god-fearing Christian who now believes that God has sent forth the Apocalypse. Pray you will be accepted by the Anglican church for the salvation you so desperately want. It's also located next to the cemetery (no surprise there).

In order to join this roleplay a few simple regulations must be followed to be eligible to be considered to join. Whoa, that statement shows just how much I'm going to really read your applications, huh?
▬▬ I. All questions must be filled in unless otherwise stated. That said the 'music' section is optional and does not have to be filled in.
▬▬ II. I would greatly appreciate it if you kept your information within realistic boundaries. We all know it will not be possible for the average human to sprint a mile in three minutes, or become a first rank Commanding Officer at the age of 19. Keep it close to reality and we'll all be happy.
▬▬ III. Your application MUST be sent to me via the PM System. That said it would help me greatly if you labeled the PM "ducks and pie." It's also a good idea to check out the Profile thread to get the gist of what I'm looking for in a submitted profile.
▬▬ IV. I think the rules in the 'Regulations' posts explained it all, but if need be more will be added for further clarification.

Current Song: Radiohead - House of Cards
                                          Current Time: 1:16 P.M.

`I guess this just wasn't suppose to happen.` A large crowd gathered in the middle of the street surrounding the front end of the bus and a few feet of the concrete road in front of the bus. The green and yellow bus stood it's ground supporting a broken windshield and inverted bumper, completely covered in a red substance that glistened brightly in the sun. The crowd stared in horror at the bloodied body in front of the bus, someone with disfigured body parts that bend at irregular angles. One other man walked up to the body, his face completely shadowed by his hat. He knelt down to inspect the body. The person was facing the pavement, the arm flung around the back, fingers turning in erratic directions. The man knelt down and as gently as he could flipped the person around to get a closer look of their face. He stood back up in horror, covering his mouth with his hand, keeping the fear from coming out from his mouth. The face was completely destroyed by the collision, leaving only an eyeball sticking out of it's socket, barely being held by nerves. The lips were completely ripped off, leaving only a bloodied face with missing teeth. The nose looked like it was rubbed all over the place, and the scalp tore from the face backwards.

Before the man threw up he got up and ran out of the crowd to regain his composure. He took deep breaths, letting his system to cool down from the traumatic experience. He faced away from the crowd and into a small china store, looking at the old people shopping for ceramic cats and tea sets. When he tuned to face the crowd again, they were gone and traffic returned to normal. There were no signs of the accident, no buses, and no crowds of people fascinated by the event. The man ran into the nearest store and into the bathroom, completely ignoring the people around him and the store-owner to beleaguered him for harassing the costumers. He locked the door behind him and turned on the faucet, 'cleaning' his face. He stared at himself through the mirror, staring into his auburn eyes. Then he examined his face. He had blood all over. He stepped back and stared at his hand, completely covered with blood. The sink, too, was covered in blood. He screamed and fell to the floor, blacking out.

Teddy opened his eyes, staring at the darkened ceiling of his room. He breathed in, thanking god it was only a dream. he sat up and rubbed his face. It was a bit chilly when he got up, but he ignored it. He stared at his clock, illuminating the time in a bright red color, 1:55A.M.. He groaned and let gravity push his body back down on the bed. The bed moved as if there was a second body on that bed. He looked to his left where the rest of the bed he wasn't using was and turned on the lamp light. He could see brown hair piled on the extra pillow of his bed. He recognized the hair color and style. He sat up and leaned over to see her face. Then the radio turned on, playing a smooth jazz tune.

The song kept playing as if it would never end. Teddy extended his hand and slammed his finger on the 'Radio' button of his iHome. He pressed it again to turn the alarm back on for the next day. He was lying on his front, pillows completely surrounding him and his blanket barely covering his upper body. He planted his face into this pillows to try to go back to sleep, but couldn't do it anymore. He stared at the clock. 1:16 P.M.. It was time to get up. He yawned loudly and pulled himself out of bed, walking out of his room and into the bathroom conveniently located just outside his room. He then proceeded to follow his usual morning routine: taking a hot shower that lasts for about 20 minutes, brushing of teeth while in the shower, and bumping the radio to relax his body. He then proceeds to choose out an outfit from his massive closet of clothing. The process takes him about half an hour, sometimes even an hour.

When he finished his routine he took out his charged phone and iPod from their hiding spots and took out a couple twenties from his safe in his closet. He walked out of his room, locking it, and ran into the kitchen where he would fix himself a small snack before going to the school in his car to wait for his friends to come out as he decided to ditch the last day of school for the purpose of starting the break a day early. He turned on the TV in the living room and put it on the Fox News where a breaking news bulletin was showing an act of violence between two people in the suburbs of his town. Since these kind of things don't happen everyday, when an act of violence occurs it tends to receive some news coverage. "We now bring you David Copper live from Hubbard Street. David?"

David stared into the camera with eyes of amazement and fear, something he hasn't felt combined since the time he filmed about the convict being released from prison due to a loophole in the system. "Thank you, Donna. We are here at Hubbard Street where a man shambled on top of victim Farhad Jhazamish, a family-man of three children and a wife. When he tried to help the man to a hospital due to his beat-up looks, he attacked Farhad and in an act of cannibalism bit off a portion of his neck. Four other locals fought the man off of Farhad, but the damage was done. We have received word that Farhad has now died of blood loss. The police should be here any minute to clean up the mess and to capture the wild man, and only time will tell what will happen to his man, and Farhad's family." While he was talking the cameraman panned away from the reporter to show the audience the bloody feud in the background. There wasn't enough shown to cause hysteria, but enough to tingle the sensations of the viewer.

Teddy walked into the living room with a well-heated Hot Pocket and sat down, taking out his hone. It had been vibrating for a minute, waiting for him to read the text message he received. It came from Elizabeth. `Teddy, I'm almost at your house. I hope you're ready to go!` He laughed a bit and replied back, asking if she saw the news report. As soon as he sent it he heard a knock at the door. Lo and behold, it was Lizzy. She walked in and unzipped her red sweater, revealing she wasn't wearing an undershirt. "You are ready! And I wanted to 'accidentally' walk into your room while you were changing." She laughed. He laughed with her.

"I have my keys. We can go get them now if you want." He jingled his keys, taking a bite from his Hot Pocket. She shook her head, picking up the remote and changing the channel to find a movie to kill time. "I read your text, and the answer is yes. I was walking by there to figure out what was going on. I called your mom and told her what happened. She should of sent someone by now. It was crazy. There were people all over the place staring at the man's body on the floor. The other guy is being held down by four others, tryng to escape and everything." She shuddered, zipping her hoodie back up. "I just got goosebumps."

Teddy shuddered too. Despite living under a secure home, he doesn't feel safe with a guy like that roaming the streets. "I don't feel like watching TV anymore." He finished off his Hot Pocket and threw away the trash in the kitchen. He washed his hands while Lizzy followed him in and sat down on the tabletop next to the sink. "We should probably be heading now. Don't want to miss the next movie, right?" He tried a smile, but the event that was just described to him from two sources made him uneasy. Lizzy felt the same way, but didn't want to show it. She smiled back and nodded, following him out of the house and into his black 2010 Mazda 3 series. Teddy brushed past Hubbard St. getting a glimpse of the carnage. He never looked back, and continued his drive to the school. He parked in the student parking lot, practically empty save for a few cars of the students that did decide to stay in school. They got out of the car and waited for an hour and a half before the bell rang, releasing the students at regular dismissal, 3:16 P.M..
