Lily scooted down to the end of the Gryffindor where the new first years would end up sitting once they were sorted.

The sorting began, it had been a long process just like the past 3 years.

Krystal sat boredly at the Slytherin table. She hated waiting for people to be sorted. It was always a long time. She put her head down on her arms and closed her golden eyes. The small lump of fur on her lap had started purring softly some time ago, and it offered a comforting warmth. She sighed.

Richie followed Professor McGonagel through the Great Hall up to the front. The walk couldn't have seemed longer. Everyone in the Great Hall seemed to be staring at him as he passed. Professor McGonagle set down the Sorting Hat and it began to sing its usual song about the four founders of Hogwarts.

Once the hat had finished singing, it went silent and Professor McGonagle read off the first name on the list. Soon it was Richie's turn, and even though he knew it was no big deal, his hands were shaking. He sat on the stool and placed the hat on his head. As soon as the hat touched his head, it began to speak in his ear. "Hm... Yes, you're another Evans. Well, I see you have lots of courage, but you also are very clever. Hm... you'd do well in Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. But I can tell you desire to be in GRYFFINDOR!" The hat yelled out the last word to the entire Great Hall. Elated, Richie hopped off the stool and ran to sit next to his sister.

by the time mike was up, his face was a pale green. which house would he be in? "brady, michael," professor mcgonagall called, and he made his way clumsily down to sit on the stool. as soon as the sorting hat touched his head, it screamed "gryffindor!!!" grinning palely, he made his way to sit next to ritchie at the gryffindor table.

Allen sat there, staring out into the Hall, bored as ever.

grinning, mike looked over at ritchie. "looks like we both made it," he breathed.

He sighed as he sat at one of the tables. He already knew which house he would be in, and he despised it. His parents told him he would learn magics he never seen before, and that was the only thing that got him to try to be in Slytherin.

"Stupid hat..." Krystal muttered. Now that it was shouting out house names for the first years, it was keeping her awake. She lifted her head groggilly and viciously rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She patted her right pocket where she kept her wand, and a soft grin spread across her thin lips. Oooh the things she would do this year... the plus side is she'd never be caught. The grin grew rather quickly.

Yunie quickly made her way quietly to the Ravenclaw house. All around her, people chattered and talked about the past summer. She sighed. She began to wish that the train ride to school was longer. She glanced around to see if she could spot Lilly. She turned back when she couldn't find her. "Perfect..." She grumbled.

Allen spied Yunie. "You looking for someone?" he asked.

"Congratulations!" Lily hugged her brother tightly as he sat down. "Mom and Dad are going to be so proud!"
"Geroffme Lily... You're embarrassing me." Richie sighed as Lily released him.

Yunie looks at the voice. A boy that looked about her age looked at her curiously. "I was...Kind of..." She answers smiling.
