Domon continued on allong the street. He had no idea what direction he was traveling. No idea where he needed to be. Just what was in store for him around even the next corner was a mystery to the Man, nevertheless, Gun in hand, he made his way on.
A female voice caught his attention, as his eyes focused upon a.... strange sight. A woman... with a tail... throwing fireballs. Just what in the hell was going on?
"And just who the ******** are you?" He asked, spitting the words as if the woman owed him an explination. None of his text messages had said anything about Cat women with fireballs, but then, what if she were, in fact, one of the animals mentioned earlier. The bringer of the fatalities he was warned about.
"Are you the one behind all this?!" Domon demaded, lifting the piece and pointing it in the girl's direction. His hand was steady, no doubt behind his trigger finger. It was obvious, this wasnt the first time he had pointed a gun in someone's face.

A rough concrete planter made the perfect place to hunker down and watch the happenings in the street. Not that the watching white-haired man was completely interested in the people. He was more interested in the dark shapes that were surrounding those people. Then he reasoned out that there should be one behind him.
Called it! s**t! Kairon thought, staring at the creature that had appeared behind him out of the corner of his eye. He turned his eyes back to the street, quickly planning his escape. Without any warning, and just as the creature struck the ledge he had been on, Kairon leaped clean over the planter's rough-leaved bushes, hand-sprung off the other edge of the concrete, and landed neatly in a kneel roughly a metre from where he started. Points for style. Kairon smirked slightly, finding it exciting that he was now a part of some kind of action. He had only fantasized about such fighting, never actually experiencing it. It was his father's fault for putting the stories in his mind at a young age.
Kairon continued to smile and dodge the lumbering dark thing that was attacking him. It was a lot more fun to dance around and make the creature frustrated because it couldn't hit him. Any close calls were laughed at with a wild, fiery sound that made the blue eyes shine brightly. Kairon continued to lead the creature on a merry chase, gathering more by accident. They couldn't hit him, though, and Kairon merely continued to dance.

Markus still kept his sword out, just in case. He didn't feel too comfortable with his sister not having her weapon in her hand. Not right now. They both looked to much like mortals and demons could definetely mistake them and attack without knowing. But, Marielle wanted to do what Marielle does. And that's all that she does. Nothing else. So there was no changing her mind no matter what. He sighed but kept up his stoic face.

"So, who are all of you. I'm Mario and this is Mark." She gestured her hand at her tall brother. It wasn't often that she got to use there nicknames and so she was happy that she was able to now. "Oh, and don't mind him too much. He isn't much of a talker. He just lets me do all the talking." Marielle smiled brightly. "Isn't that right Marky?"

Said Markus only nodded a small nod and "hmm"ed. Like she told the humans, he wasn't much of a talker and didn't plan on being that way any time soon. It just wasn't in his to talk to people...especially when they were humans that he had no connection too. Except for the fact that his sister seemed to like them for some reason. Maybe because they looked like things that she could watch over and protect. She really was a mother hen. Whether she liked it or not.

_____Şam ignored the guy, figuring that it was a rhetorical question threw his rude tone. Not to mention the fact he wouldn't believe her anyway. Who would honestly think that she was trained as an assassin? She continued with her work, pinpointing the weak spots and shooting. Now like any person, she wasn't perfect all the time. But the few times that a creature didn't go down, it was dead soon after the first show. But she felt something strange. It felt like some light feather was tickling her and she couldn't concentrate as much. She had to restock just as the other boy tossed the cussing "Domooookuuuunnn" his weapons. But soon the annoying one was down and out for the count. By a real animal. How pathetic. Never the less, she felt a twinge of sorrow for the weakling. His friend didn't even seem to care, or at least did not show it like most people. Samantha had no right to judge, thou. Sadly, you never know if someone is holding on by a thread. So she had to waste some lead. She studied the guy's body for a second, adjusted, and shot the annoying asian threw the head just to make sure that he was dead. She wanted to make sure. "Rest well, fella," she said to the dead body, turning back to the scene before her. The tickling sensation was still bothering her.

_____Ħer senses were dulled, but not completely gone. But by the time she could feel something creeping near her, it was replaced by warmth. Automatically, she turned her gun to the source of the fire and shot. Although she had no doubt this new type of cat would be able to doge it. It felt stronger than the ones she was killing with such ease. The shot was only meant as a warning anyway. Their would have their fun later when the sensation stopped, hopefully. "Good," Sam practically growled, "because these things aren't all that fun to play with. Just annoying with their numbers." She was not grateful for the cat obliterating the demon that was now ash. In fact, she took it as an insult to her strength. She didn't need any help. Then her phone went off. "Let me out! I'm stuck in your pocket!" Another text. She looked down at the message quickly, checking the time. She could go back to her hotel room, but there was plenty of fun to be had. It still wasn't time yet. And maybe the creatures had trashed her pent house. Maybe she could get the sniper from her room and stake out in one of the lower levels...

_____Шith that guy's screaming, no wonder Sam's thoughts vanished. His cussing and questions were nonstop. "Do you honestly think the person sending out those messages would have the balls to come out into the open?" she questioned him, the wave of creatures receding for now. Or at least it seemed to be. She looked up at the creature and figured that it didn't have the intelligence to pull off something like this. The tingling started up again and it only ticked off the girl. She looked from side to side, trying to see what was getting under her leather jacket to cause such a feeling. She started to get frustrated and the tickling increased. She jumped off from the car, but her landing was much slower than it normally was. She felt no impact as her feet went to the floor. Instead of a loud "stomp," there was a light "tap." It seemed as if the wind had helped her land, but that didn't make any sense. "What the heck?" she asked softly to herself. The cat seemed to have some power over fire. So maybe she knew what was going on. "Hey! Cat! What is up with those fireballs?" she asked, looking up at the demon with a glare. She didn't trust the feline, being more of a dog person, but what could she do? She had no other lead to something controlling an element.

Shiro thought to himself wondering where the came from in the first place, but decided he was too lazy to think about.

Shiro turned to the girl who had appeared right in front of him. "Hello my name is Shiro, and is Mario even a girl name." Shiro chuckled. "Do you guys know what the...." Shiro's words ended there as he heard his phone go off again.

The text said the weather is going to turn very cold, Shiro thought this odd considering that this is LA in the first place, how in the hell was changing weather this drastically even possible. Then again they had powers "downloaded" to them so it doesn't seem that strange to him now.

Shiro knew that even though the weather was going to change from sun to winter in less then three hours, he would be able to start using his powers against those monsters. "Well this is just getting crazier by the second isn't it?" Shiro said to the rest of the group; but now Shiro is getting more interested to find out who's behind all of this.

((Btw, Mana is co-thread master. Pay attention to his posts too for event updates!))

Forget the past...

The swarm of demons had lawled for the moment, he thanked whatever deity was out there and checked his phone, it being buzzing since he'd recently put it on vibrate. "A change in weather patterns... what in the world could cause that?" He thought, "Some crazy's imagination, I'll bet." He joked. Putting his phone away, he looked at the other two. "Nice to meet you, I am Travis." He hadn't bothered with repeating what Shiro said about 'Mario'. Though he did agree. Was it a girl's name?

Beware of the tail's twitch...

Neishi hadn't even bothered moving when the girl had taken a shot at her. She didn't really blame her, she was a demon after all, and couldn't have known she was on humanities side. Regardless, the bullet had hit her, it just crushed itself against her skin and clattered onto the ground. Against her, and other higher demons, human weapons would be made useless, as long as it didn't have the right element attached to it.

"No, this is not my fault." She told the man, simply. She did a nice back flip, her leg smacking into a demon that had tried pouncing on her from behind. It was dead upon impact with the ground. She placed her gaze on the girl for a moment. She flicked a small bit of flame behind her, though it did absolutely no damage to the tar below. She had made sure it was snuffed out before it hit the ground.

"I don't see why I should tell you, when you took a shot at me." She started walking over to her, smacking stray demons aside as she did. Once she was standing in front of her, she put a hand on her hip, and calmed herself down. The slow swaying of her tail showed it. "Give me a good reason why I should share." She told the human.

"Why help the world when you can tear it apart?"

Aires walked silently on the roof top overlooking the current fray. It was fun for her, finding the fight closest to her and just watching it from a far. And, something else that was fun, was going in after there was a victor, creeping up behind them and killing them when they least expected it. But for now, her mask upon her face and her bare feet curling at the ends from excitement simply watched and waited.

As of now, it seemed there was two people of particular intrest-The first being a demon. She was a cat demon, that much was obvious, and judging by the small amount of fighting she had seen, controlled fire. She seemed.. familiar, but then again so did most actually intelligent demons. The other, being the girl with a soft colored red hair. Be it because her hair happened to be a shade of her favorite color, she wasn't quite sure. But judging her own attitude, it most likely was. With a small smirk, a small gust of wind ensured that no gravel was left where she was about to sit and enjoy the fighting.

Marielle looked disgruntle and glared at the person named Shiro. How rude!? Just because it didn't sound like a girl's name didn't mean that it wasn't. I mean Travis was a perfectly normal sounding male name. But...
"Is Shiro even a guys name!?" She blurted out angerily at the stupid human. Markus almost laughed at her outburst. He knew that she hated sexiest comments like that and would never use them himself, unless it was purely teasing. Now this was funny. He hoped that his sister took a swing at the guy!

But unfortunately, she just decided to ignore him. Marielle turned her back to Shiro and looked up at Travis.

"Well hello, Travy. It's nice to meet you." You could hear and see the flirty in her eyes. Markus just rolled his. Typical Marielle. It was just like her to flirt with anything that moved. "But too bad it's under demonic circumstances." She giggled softly and Markus rolled his eyes again and sighed.

What's the rush?....

Shiro started to laugh again, "Well, your lucky I'm too lazy to care about what you just said." Shiro just stood there relaxed not worried about being hit by her.

"Wait, did you say demonic circumstances are you trying to tell me these things are demons? he was somewhat surprised by what she said. "You seem to know a lot about this, can you tell me what's going on?" Shiro started to wonder if the people who just appeared were demons themsleves; but since they were being helped he wasn't to worried about it.

Shiro had noticed that Travis looked tired after the fight, "Hey, are you ok Travis?" Shiro said, he waited for a reply from Travis and looked at the others noticing that everyone else seemd fine.

I've got plenty of time....

Chilled by the wind that was whipping his baggy jeans tight against his legs, Kairon decided that enough was enough and started an offensive move against the three birds, two dogs, and strange cat-bear-beast thing that had come forward earlier. Their coats and feathers were darker than their normal colours, and Kairon noticed that sometimes their fur shone even darker. It was an eerie sight, but he was having too much fun ducking, weaving, and showing off that he could jump around as well as the creatures could to take it into consideration.
With a wild, loud whoop, Kairon pulled out his combat knife and played it across his fingers quickly. It was part of his display routine, usually, but today, it was a useful way to spin the knife so that the blade pointed back, the patterned flat against his arm. Realizing he had danced into an alley, Kairon spun around and planted his black against the wall. The chill from the concrete structure cut through his coat, but he stayed, counting. One of the birds attacked beak-first, and was caught.

"Don't think so." The gruff voice said at the blackened bird's eye. With a serious yet bored expression, Kairon swung the bird around like a chain, knocking the other two birds down with their heads sitting at curious angles. The dogs leaped for Kairon. One crashed into the wall, the other snagged his leg. The one on the leg was dispatched swiftly by the combat knife's blade through its head.
The attack jammed the knife. Kairon hissed in frustration, dropping to the ground to evade the cat-creature's sudden attack. The one dog that was merely stunned because of its inability to change directions mid-flight started to get up. Kairon kicked the cat sideways into the dog. The pair started fighting because of the heavier creature's landing awkwardly on the lighter one. Kairon cracked the dead animal whose skull held tight to his knife using a rock. The blade came free with a slight squelch.
Without a care on his face, Kairon walked back out to the street and walked into plain sight. He waved with an air of friendly greeting to the small group of people standing around, but said nothing. As he walked, Kairon hid his knife in a specially designed pouch on the inside of his military coat. It was a slightly intimidating weapon otherwise.

"How about the fact we dont know a damn thing thats goin on around here. It doesnt look like the shot did much damage so why the hell're you holdin a grudge?" Domon spoke, letting his hand fall to one side. The cat was just as bitter, angry and, well, cocky as this new gunslinger and himself appeared. One hell of a trio they made, however as the shot fired simply fell from the feline biped fell to the floor, Domon said a silent prayre to himself, hoping the flaming feline was infact on his side. It seemed as if the first surge of... demons, had been silenced. A momentary peace followed as he was able to actually converse.
"There ain't no way you can get by with not sayin anything... now that you're out." He shrugged glancing about. The distant sounds of even more screams and chaos could be heard all around. It wouldnt be long until LA was a Demon infested Ghost town.
"Its too bad, I was just starting to like Los Angeles."

_____Şamantha didn't understand this cat. What side of the litter box did she wake up on? Hello? Personal space! But the girl didn't really mind all that much. Respect was what she wanted, and she could tell that the little kitty didn't dish that out. "There is no reason. Just threats," she said, moving so close to the cat that Sam was in her personal bubble. She even dared to move her face closer, but stopped about an inch away from kissing the cat. A small smile crossed the humans lips. She pulled her gun out again, but instead of shooting the demon, she shot a nearby fire hydrant a few times. Sam could easily assume that the creature had no idea what that thing was. Not to mention that she had enough brains to know that fire and water didn't mix well. Soon the water in the damaged hydrant began to rumble and sprouted from the holes, the pressure bursting the thing into pieces. With the pressure gone, it began to move out onto the sidewalk they were on. It soon reached the pair of females.

_____Å giggle escaped the woman's mouth. "Honestly, I don't see the point of fighting with you at this point. There are plenty of distractions the other way," she uttered with a small shrug. The tickling feeling was still bothering her and she didn't want to be weaker than she normally was. If her bullets didn't work on the cat, being distracted by the strange sensation wouldn't help one bit. Sam loved to fight, but she wasn't going to risk her life for no reason. She wasn't an idiot. "Ta, ta" she said to the two as she began to walk away. She turned back for a split second to glare at the demon, just to smile at her again. She winked at the guy, turning back forward and chuckling softly to herself. Sam could feel the wind around her shifting as she walked, more than normal. It bugged her. She usually wasn't this hyper sensitive with the movement of things. The only thing she could think to blame it on was her body reacting differently to the major amounts of adrenalin it was getting. Today was just getting better and better.

Beware of the tail's twitch...

Neishi flinched automatically when the red metallic... thing burst forth and water spilled out. She let that wash over her feet. She didn't care about that. "Honestly, I don't see the point of fighting with you at this point. There are plenty of distractions the other way," The girl said, as Neishi opened her mouth to say something, the girl giggled and added, "Ta, ta." And walked away. That was followed immediately with the light sound of... something hitting the ground. She didn't have to look around to know that someone else, most likely another intelligent demon, was nearby. She couldn't let either human go without making sure they knew of... whoever this was.

She started walking toward the girl that was walking away when she heard another sound, coming off of a car. The tone was of a voice she knew quite well. "Neishi! Pick up!" It yelled. Not that it mattered, but she was fairly sure anyone around would learn her name. She walked over to the sound, a phone that she'd seen her master using, and picked it up. Opening it, she read the note in it. She was glad she had learned how to read now. "Weather changes..." She muttered, before reading the added note from her master. "Keep this phone and remember your mission." As if she needed reminding. She sighed, and stuffed the phone into her cleavage, which she found uncomfortable, and rushed off.

"No time to explain, come on." She told the man, and continued until she had caught up with the human girl. "Just a second, I'm not here to fight with you. I... not important. There's another demon close by. One... like myself."
