Welcome, viewers, roleplayers, soldiers-to-possibly-be, to the world of Ankarai. In all of your interdimensional hopscotch, you seem to have stumbled upon this... Warring Earth, as it is commonly called.

Here in this world, the lands are split into two territories. Those which belong to the Dawn Company, and those which belong to the Dusk Corporation. These two organizations fight constantly over land, resources, money, etc... There's nothing they won't fight over.

Dusk Corp. and Dawn Co. not only recruit highly-trained standard soldiers and mercenaries all year 'round, but also illegally acquire newly-discovered, black-market soldiers with extra enhanced skills to further intensify combat.

Currently, the two organizations are "sharing" the capital of an immense territory called Belvedere, which is well-known for its nearly-endless fields and abundant hills. An underground section of the capital--called Rozana--shelters the facility from which the two organizations gain their "Complex Soldiers."

-Something I always seem to leave out: The Complex Soldiers are not supposed to have naturally gained their powers through birthright or any such thing. Their skills and powers are gained through experiments within the facility that supplies them to the companies. They are specially trained there to heighten their senses and endurance. Most of them were victims of kidnapping because it takes years to develop control over what they've become.

Therefore, I don't want to see anything crazy going on with your profiles.

Natural Law

Okay. I'll give you the rules, first; then I'll give you some more exact information.

○No major vulgarity; don't be too violent, and be nice out-of-character.

○Cursing(cussing) is allowed, but keep it at least a little limited.

○I have no problem with Yaoi or Yuri, but keep it clean! If it's offensive to anyone at all, let me know first thing.

○Go ahead and flirt all you want; I don't mind at all, but you still need to keep it clean.

○Please don't violate the major TOS, because I'll end up letting you get away with it. Someone else might report you, though. [I won't feel bad, because I warned you.]

○Be at least semi-literate! I want to be able to understand what you're posting.

○Don't kill another character off without mine and the owner's permission.

○Every person has a past. It doesn't matter if no one knows what it is, you have to write something in-depth about them. No one's going to have claim over knowing what that past is, but I would like to have something there that's more than "No one knows about his past" or "There is very little known about him" **VERY IMPORTANT. Your profile will not be accepted if there isn't even an inkling of sort of past. I'll send it right back to you with a frowny face. >[

Okay. Here's the stuff you need!:

(~)PM your character profiles to me directly, and I'll inform you of when you've been added, or if there are technical difficulties/order disturbances.

*This is very recently added, so don't freak out if you just sent me a PM and it was incorrect.

If your character is a Standard Soldier, title the PM "Soldier Complex."
If your character is a Complex Soldier, title the PM "Living Weapon"
If you're a mercenary, "Infamy and Fortune"
If you're a citizen, "Proclaimed Innocence"
Facility Captive.... "Facility Captive" (how very creative, no?)

(~)Both organizations have twenty-six [complex] soldiers each. There is no limit to the standard [soldiers].

(~)Roleplayers can roleplay as DAWN Standard [or] Complex soldiers, DUSK Standard [or] Complex soldiers, freelance mercenaries, Facility captives, or Rozana civilians.

(~)You may control up to four characters total. It is preferred that you keep your characters a little bit different, and try not to have more than two characters to one company. One Facility captive allowed per person. Mercenaries limited to two per person, and any number of civilians is welcome.

When he begins to torture people he tends to lose control over himself and goes into a bloodrage, often tearing the person to bits or leaving nothing more than blood on the ground.

But when the government found out about him they took him away from his family and began experimenting on him. Now he has no recollection of his past and was bought by the Dusk organization to wreak havoc upon the lands

Weapon/Power: Sterling’s body is, literally synthetic. The only organic part of her left, is her brain. Thusly, she’s much more durable than most humans, as well as much faster and stronger. She’s extremely skilled in hand to hand of all kinds, internal communications systems and is compatible with various weapons from all over. However, she isn’t bullet/bomb/punch proof. She can be damaged beyond repair. Her major weakness is water, as her synthetic body is incapable of floating.

Bio: Little is known about Sterling, by herself, or those who own her. She was placed (deactivated) on the market years ago. Some were afraid of what would happen after she was brought to life, other’s thought her to simply be some kind of robot doll. Needless to say, the leaders of Dusk Corporation were stunned to find their newest toy to be not only cognizant, but logical.. Further investigation revealed her to be a cyborg, rather than an android. Sterling is an emotionless creature, and has little understanding of human behavior. However, she does often wonder about “the soul” – as it’s been the one that ties her to every one else. She’s worked without question for them ever since.

Character Name: Cassis (case-iss) Alenn Weiss
Age: 18
Weapon/Power: Exhibits powers similar to A. Weiss: a strong abilities referred to as ViceGrip, which enables mind-reading and control. Her version, though, is slightly altered; she uses music to create openings for her ability to work (TuneGrip), and without music, the ability will only work for short periods of time(ViseGrip, because it is a weaker version of Alexander's ViceGrip), or not at all. She carries a pair wakizashi swords, preferring them over most other weapons. She is also able to use her ViceGrip abilities to zone in on targets, both living and non-living to make aiming and mind-reading more accurate.

Bio: She was born two years after A. Weiss and kept separate from him completely. Because she and Alexander were born to the same parents, two strongly influential employees of the Facility, she was, like her brother, raised within the Black Market contributor and destined to be one of the experimental Complex Soldiers. Cassis is unaware of Weiss's existence, though her powers were developed as an attempt at a more advanced form of his abilities. At 16, she was deployed to Dusk Corporation. She has an amazing talent for music, able to play any musical instrument she can get her hands on. She's also trained in various forms of weaponry to ensure an alternate form of offense/defense when unable to use ViseGrip or TuneGrip.

Bio: "Kanashii" has no basic memories of her past. Because of her specific power, the memories of her life before gaining her power were erased completely. She focuses on the now and what comes next, and she uses her abilities to influence peace among many of her peers, as well as avoid physical combat.

Bio: Alexander grew up in the facility, literally a soldier by birth. His parents were--key word: were--scientists working with the genetic reformation that caused the powers and such until Xander's own mental influences backfired and he ended up causing chaos. When that happened, his mother broke down, claiming that she didn't want her son to be a soldier and she was removed, along with his father. When he reached eighteen, he was deployed to Yoake.

Bio: Citrine is a creature known as a Candus, to be specific A Mountain Candus. She grew up on an isolated island and one day her family fell apart. She soon left the island, with a broken heart caused by her torn apart family. She constantly trained in the arts of Muy Thai and Kung Fu at a young age and still does today. She now works as a body guard and a martial arts teacher within the freelance mercenaries.

*The Main Locations!*

Okay. The main locations are the basic areas that may or may not have the most traffic in the roleplay. They're simply there so that you know a little bit more about Rozana. You can make your own areas are you please.

~The Central Library: It's huge. Books on the city's history, the world's history, the companys' histories, and even some citizens' histories are contained among the hundreds of rows of Archival shelves. It's also a good source for finding a good, normal read. The C. Library, not to be confused with the smaller libraries in Rozana, is a neutral point between the two companies. It is quite often fought over--it's also one of the most-often-used links to the underground Facility that "manufactures" the soldiers.

~Dawn Company Headquarters: The largest building on the east side of Rozana, looming so far above the city's other buildings that it's dizzying to look at. The HQ is home to a majority of it's soldiers, both standard and complex, though some may have homes situated throughout the city. The building is roughly 80 - 90 stories high and contains various environments on certain floors that would astound just about anyone. Several of its floors, unlike Dusk's, are dedicated specifically for training and practice in the arts of specialized weapons, this does not include guns.

~Dusk Corporation Headquarters: The largest building on the west side of Rozana, roughly the same size as Dawn Co. and just as dizzying to view. It's home to most of its own soldiers as well, but only a certain number are allowed to live outside of the building. Several of its floors, unlike Dawn's, are dedicated specifically for training and practice in the arts of specialized firearms. They keep most of their files and histories to themselves, unlike Dawn Co., who hands much of their data over to the Library.

~Sweet Nothings: A confectionary (sweet/candy/pastry) shop situated just inside the Dawn boundaries near the centre of the city. It's visited often by Dawn's soldiers, quite famous for most of the sweet foods it happens to sell.

~Belveder Spirits: A tavern-like restaurant/coffee-shop that sits across the street from the Central Library. Not only is the food awesome and the coffee some of the best in Rozana, rumors are that the owner of 'Spirits' houses some of the hackers that happen to be enemies to both of notorious companies. (The hacker division is off-limits until I say so.)

~The Facility: This place is off-limits right now, and will remain so until there are at least two 'captives' who are still contained inside it.

*The Extra Special Bonus Box of Awesome*

Yeah, I know the name is... overrated. Exaggerated a bit, but this is the Box of Awesome. I place, within this box and this box only, any special limited edition profiles that become available when I think of them. Maybe Escaped Facility Subjects, or people who are conspiring to bring the fall of the Facility--that place can't stay open forever, you know!


One of the profiles that I'm sure will be out soon is the Hacker profile. When there are 10 ACTIVE profiles in the list--it doesn't matter what the profile is for; soldier, citizen, etc, as long as the profile is one of the BASIC profiles way up near the top of this page. Don't disappoint me, people. I really wanna put up that Hacker profile!
