~All's Fair in Love and War~

In the year of 2009, the Earth was peaceful. The humans knew nothing of the vampires, lycans (werewolves) and angels that lived amoung them. That is, until the war broke out among the three immortal races. The angels had come to exterminate them from the Earth. The lycans and vampires joined forces at first, but the rivalry betwen the two races had caused them to be enemies as well.
It is now the year 2011. In the two years, there has been no sign of a winner thus far. The humans have long deserted the cities that once flourished with life, and took up residence underground, away from the immortals and the unpredicting battlegrounds. Before when the city had life, the humans were in the way resulting in thousands of casualties. No immmortal race dares enters the city alone for the fear of ambush. Some brave souls however, define the rules and go out alone......
If the war doesn't end, all the immortal races will be wiped out. But some of the races have found love in their enemies. Could the forbidden lovers stop the war? Or be killed in the process?

Rule Numero Uno: No one plays God except for V-Lady and myself! What we say goes, no ifs, ands, ors, or buts about it. And to

Rule Number 3: You only get two(2) warnings! One from V-Lady and one from myself. If you receive those warnings from us you'll be grounded for a little while. You get into trouble again there won't be any grounding or go directly to jail, do not collect 200 dollars. Rule Four: Do not God-mode! No one likes to play with a cheater. And if I see it happening then this God right here will come down and smite the crap out of your character. the rules

Rule 5: Please be Semi-Lit to full Lit. Meaning, treat it as if you're writing a novel. Speak in the third or first person and do not use ** :: or anything else for actions. Use quotations for spoken lines, Italicize text for thoughts, and use (()) {{}} [[]] <<>> for OOC chat at all times!! *Edit* Please be sure to make decent sized posts. We all understand writer's block, but we'd prefer it if you could at least make a five line post. And if you're having trouble, describe the surroundings or be more descriptive with what you're doing. *End edit* be sure

Rule Six: Follow the rules and terms posted in Gaia's ToS. We don't want to get in trouble because you think it's fun being stupid. If it happens, I won't hesitate to take it up with God and have him smite you for me. Trust me, I can do...I'm tight with God since I knew Jesus and all. to post

The 7th Rule: PM Your character profiles to me. With the subject title reading "Romeo" for male characters and "Juliet" for female characters. a ninja

Rule Number Ocho: We would like it if you could perhaps not fall in love with someone of your own race...it's okay if you've had a wife or husband or whatever who's been killed but we would like it to be a more broad array of Race Mixing because we enjoy pissing off God...Lol. in your profile

Side note: If you're going to be going out of town or going on vacation please be sure to mention it to all of us here by posting in the OOC thread or after a post of your own. No one likes it when you're RPing with someone and they disappear. Which leads me to another thing, please, please, please, try to post at least once a day. I'm out in Minnesota for the weekend at this current time and I still get on and post. Let's make sure everyone do the same so the thread doesn't die. Thank you!

Another side note: As of Feb 2009 we are excepting Humans! We figured it would be more interesting this way if we allowed humans to slowly migrate back to the cities and try to retake what they built. If you wish to be a human please title your PMs to me as "Revenge is a dish best served Cold". I know it's long but get used to it. Lol.

~Setting~

A large city has been run into the ground due to constant war between the immortals. The humans have all left, the only food the Lycans and Vampyres have are each other with the occasional treat of Angel flesh. Buildings are in ruin and there is much destruction present on the streets. The stale smell of blood lingers everywhere in the city. There are many abandaned bases and outposts scattered through out the city, and many more that are in full motion. Most of the hospitals have been taken over by the Vampyres and likewise with Lycans. Because of their swiftness and cleverness a lot of Vampyre and Lycan bases are unknown to the Angels even as they move closer in on each other.

Paws silently pounded the ground as Gabrielle, sprinted through the deserted city that once flourished with life. The big city had been deserted years ago, after angels, lycans, and vampires made their war against each other known. The humans fled the cities once the cities became the battlefields. The humans were always in the way, resulting in thousands casualties. That is the reason they fled. Cars were still stuck in traffic with grass growing between them, and the great buildings that held business empires and homes now grew dark and deserted. Almost as if the city was frozen in time.
Gabrielle, of course, was a lycan otherwise known as a werewolf. No immortal race dared enter the city alone, for the fear of being ambushed, but Gabrielle needed to get away. She slowed her pace to a stop. Panting she looked back to see if her bodyguards had followed her. She must have lost them in the city’s labyrinth of the streets. She made a sound that sounded like sigh of relief. She strolled along the street, taking her time and remembering when it was bustling with people going to and fro. Gabrielle kept walking and paused by a wall, turning in a circle before laying on the sidewalk. There she lay panting with her tongue out just listening and looking at the dark silent night.

Mad moved quickly through the halls of one of the Angel's main bases of operation, his boots making hollow thuds with each step. He went through a pair of double doors into a room that was bustling with Angels and shining with light as if the sun was directly overhead. Mad stood in front of an Angel who was clearly a high rank then he was and cleared his throat slightly, "Sir, Loki says it's alright for you to move ahead." He finished his short message with a bow as he walked away and headed for the exit at the back of the building. "Now that I have done my job, I'm off on my own errands." The building was well secured and very well guarded, passing each posted guard with a nod before exiting the building into the dim day.

The three moved almost silently through the city. The boots of the male on the left made a hollow thud against the concrete with his every step, the barefoot female in the centre of the formation had two identical daggers, both sheathed at her left hip, which clinked delicately as she walked, and directly to the right of the female, a small silvery white fox's claws clicked against the ground. Both of the humanoids were considerably beautiful with vibrant crimson eyes. The female was called Devin, and the male was called Claudius, both appeared to be within their early twenties. Devin Aurelia Nyte was to be doing a quick surveillance of the city, and Claudius was to be acting as her body guard; her discontent at his presence was quite apparent, but none were aloud to leave the base unaccompanied by some form of guard.

Once out in the cloud covered evening Mad rose into the air to do a bit of surveillance before he headed off. As he moved through the air he took notice of two vampires walking down an empty road, the one in the middle seemed to be important if they needed a guard and dog with them. He continued along knowing that such a small group couldn't cause harm to him or any of the other Angels hidden in their outposts. After a few more blocks he noticed a dog laying on the sidewalk that he instantly knew was a lycan by the smell, he could also tell it was a female lycan. Again, no threat. Realizing there were virtually no threats present he went in low and headed into down a flight of stairs into the subway. The darkness seemed to creep away from him as he traveled onto the tracks and headed towards the end of the tunnel, which is where buried his wife.
