This is a Casual RP for people that are new to role playing or just don't like posting a novel that some role plays make people do. I can't post a novel myself, hence why I'm making a casual RP for others like myself to join! Anyway, hope you do join if you like casual RP's!

A Small Story

You know how forests are supposed to be pretty, quiet, and sometimes spooky-looking? Well, this forest that many have heard of is quite different from the normal forests of the world. In the large town of Glassero, a certain forest surrounds the town on all angles. In this town, most people are afraid to go to the west side entrance or exit of Glassero. The east side entrance or exit of the town is more favorable to leave by. Why, you ask?

Well, many years ago, there was a war between all the races the lived in the forest. The Dark and Light races of the forests wanted to control a certain place in the center. There was a powerful object that both sides wanted in their possession, so they could overpower the other side. The object was hidden underneath the ground in the center of the forest. In this certain center, there were ruins of a forgotten city. A city where all races lived in harmony. It only took one being to have the city collapse. Once this certain evil being killed the leader of the harmonic city, war broke out between all the races. The peace was ruined as the races of the night called themselves The Dark, and races of the day called themselves The Light.

Many years of war torn the city apart, leaving the place in ruins. The object left by the leader was forever hidden from both sides. After a few more years of fighting, the war suddenly stopped. The sides came to an agreement. The forest that surrounded the city at the time was going to be cut in half. The West side of the forest was going to be the haven for the Dark races, while the east side was going to the haven for the Light races. After that, no more war broke out, and the powerful object was forgotten.

Many years have passed since this war, and the agreement was still holding strong. A large town was built over the ruins of the forgotten city. Races who got along decided to move into Glassero to try and bring all the races back together again. Though, there are still beings that want to start the war again. Will this agreement of the divided sections of the forest still hold? Will the races ever forgive each other for their wrongs? Or are you one of the beings wanting to start the war again? Or are you just a being that just wants to live?

You have the keyboard, so help me tell the ending to this tale.

The Rules

I know these are a lot of rules to follow below, but it's for the best. I've been in role plays where some rules were not enforced or forgotten by the owner. The people who would join would do these things that weren't stated in the rules post, but were obvious to half of the other people who joined. It would bother them and I so much to the point where the thread just started to die, because of these certain rules that weren't there. So again, sorry if there's a lot, but I just want to make sure no problems arise.

General
- I am the creator of this thread. I expect people to obey me and my rules of this thread. If you break the rules three times, you will be banned from this RP. No and's, if's, or but's. One warning should make it clear that you're in trouble. You get three warnings.
- Follow all rules in the Gaia TOS, No exceptions. I will report you if you are not abiding to the TOS. you agreed to when signing up.
- Romance and Violence is encouraged, but keep it PG13. Remember, there are children on here as well.
- There will be no sex in this role play, because it violates the Gaia TOS. But, if you absolutely need to, please do a time skip.
- No Godmoding. It's absolutely forbidden in most or all role plays in the Barton Town forums. That means no auto-hitting, auto-dodging, auto-killing and anything else that doesn't let people have a chance to react. If I get word that you are doing it, I will PM you and give you a warning. No questions asked.
- No killing anyone's character without the character's owner's permission and my own.
- I have the right to change or add anymore rules to I see fit.

Literacy
- Give the others in the role play something to work with from your post. It's somewhat hard if you're interacting with someone and they don't give you something to work with.
- Try to know at least the basics of grammar. I'm pretty sure you knew them by fourth grade or so. So please, try the best you can and make sure other people you are interacting with understand your typing. Use a spellchecker if necessary.
- Minimum is three lines. Maximum amount of paragraphs is 4. Remember people, this is a semi-literate RP. I'm not wanting novel written posts that'll take forever to read. Sorry to people who like to do that, but this isn't the role play to do so here.

Posting
- If you can, please include a name and picture in your post. If you don't know how to do this, let me know by PM. I can help you if you need it.
- When you post a picture as part of your post, please make it a reasonable size. That means no page-stretching images. I dislike that, and I will PM you if your image is too large. If you need help with re-sizing, try using an online photo editor to re-size it.
- Talking should be in "..." (quotation marks), thinking should be in italics. All Out Of Character text should be in brackets [[..]], parentheses (( )), or any form that can help us understand that is not part your character's post.
- No posting until I have accepted your character profile!
- Please don't post in bright colors like cyan or yellow. It hurts my eyes and I'm pretty sure it hurts others' eyes. So please don't, do it.

Profiles
- Please fill out the profile skeleton as the way it is. No making changes or I will get confused. If you have problems or questions, PM me.
- All Profiles will be sent to me via PM. Make sure the title of it is "Happy Day", so I know what the PM is about.
- Once I accept your profile, please post it on the profile thread. The link is in the top post. If you still have problems finding it, PM me.

Activity
- I expect at least 7 posts a week from you. If you have problems posting that much, PM me about it.
- Posting once and leaving for good just irritates me. It also can leave someone hanging if you were interacting with them. It'll leave them stuck. So please, don't do that.
- If you're going to gone more than 4 days, let me know about it. Also, if you're interacting with others, let them know that you won't be on. Then, they have an excuse to have an auto to get out of that situation.

Other
- Keep OOC to minimal if possible. I will be creating a thread for heavy OOC. I can understand a little OOC on the this thread to clear up any confusion. But for heavy OOC, please refer to thread at the top post.

Geke walked casually in the town in his cat form. He was always warned by his uncle to never appear in his human form unless necessary. Not like this was any bother to him though, since being a cat, people generally didn't mind. He enjoyed just lounging around and just sleeping. Since there hadn't been any fighting around, the cat just spent most of his days wondering around. Of course, when he was bored, he would talk to a human or two. Sometimes they would freak out, other times they were too drunk to notice. Geke looked around and saw his favorite cafe shop open. There, he had a favorite place to bask in the sun.

Ryssa had just left her home to go to the local cafe that was famous for getting people drunk. She sat down at one of the tables as a waitress came out and asked her what she wanted to drink. Ryssa just answered she wanted to have some water for the time being. The girl looked around the area to see people having a good time at the cafe. Her pink eyes examined all the different beings that were from different races. If only everyone could get along, the forest that surrounded them could be one again.

Geke saw cute girl walk into the shop and he wanted to introduce himself. First he stretch his body until it was flexible and then he walked towards her. "Meow," he said, rubbing himself against her leg. Another reason he liked being a cat; give him a reason to be close to girls. The cat looked up at her and again called, "Meow." He wanted her to pet him right behind the ears, that was his favorite place.

Ryssa looked down to see a black cat rubbing against her leg. She blinked once before giggling at the cat. "Hello there, black cat. Where did you come from?" She asked before bending down to pet the black cat softly. The waitress came out and set her ordered water on the table. She waved to the waitress and looked back down at the cat. She wondered where he came from.

Just as he had planned, the girl was petting him and it felt good. "Meow," he purred with such contentment. The cat then jump on her lap and began to rub himself against her waist. He gave a grin, for being such a bad kitty. MMmmm her laps is so comfy....I think I'll sleep here, he thought. Geke's body vibrating from his purring. It was settle, she would have to get rid of him, if she wanted him to leave. The girl was so soft and she smelt good. Totally different from last time when this old woman wanted to keep him as a pet. If the stentch of her bad breath wasn't enough, her saggy boobs were. It was a total nightmare compared to the dream he was in. "meow," he said once again. Closing his eyes he whispered to himself, "It feels so good."

Moka walked down the sidewalk with her friends. They had just come back from the moves and where going to head off to the cafe. But when they reached the cafe one of her friends got a call from their mother saying that her and her sister had to go. "Really? Well, all right. Bye." Moka said with a smile as she waved her friends goodbye. Walking inside the cafe she noticed a girl with a black cat. But she wasn't going to go and get in the girls business. So instead she headed off towards one of the tables and sat down. As she waiting for the waitress she looked out the window bored wishing her friends didn't have to go so soon.

Ryssa saw the cat jump on top her lap and start purring. She decided to pet him some more as she said, "My, my. You're so cute, black kittie. Are you hungry? I can order us some food. I just don't know if the food here is good for cats like you." She called over a waitress anyway and asked for some grilled cheese for herself. Ryssa wasn't sure if the cat should eat anything from here, but she would get him something later. Looking out at the other people, she also noticed that they were getting along better than the ones living in the forest. She wondered how different races living in town were from ones living in the forest.

"Meow," Geke answered when the girl offered him some food. This was turning out to be real good thing. She seemed so innocent and happy. Looking out he noticed another cutie with pink hair. He wondered if this was the place where all the hotties came. Whatever the reason, he decided to try his luck over there too. Perhaps he could get double servings. He thought about leaving her, since he was already comfortable, but then decided that he should test both cushions to see who he liked best. So the cat jumped off and approached the new girl. "Meow," he said, rubbing himself against her leg.
