Ϯwo years ago Yorkshire had become completely overrun with every monster you could imagine. I, along with several other people, was in charge of taking out each and every one of them. But then everything changed. Two Angels crash landed in our city and everything myself and the other Hunters had accomplished was completely shattered. One of the Angels took delight in throwing our world asunder, while his brother – though he had originally freed his brother Angel – tried everything within his power to clean up after his path of destruction.

Cain and Abel… I don't think anyone will ever forget those names...

Too soon a war broke out between the two of them. Brother was pitted against brother in a gruesome battle that took many lives in the crossfire. A tower rose in the middle of the city, destroying most of downtown and causing numerous casualties. Cain annihilated his good brother Abel, before every one of us gathered together and finished Cain off. Abel was brought to life again thanks to the sacrifice Sheliss, a Zidar, made. But Abel disappeared, leaving us to deal with the aftermath of a world free of Cain's wrath.

Now, thanks to Cain’s actions, the entire world knows about abnormals. There’s no hiding them, and after spending so much time around them, I guess I’d rather they didn’t live in hiding either. But people aren’t as accepting as I’d hoped. Life is tough for them, especially the ones who can’t defend themselves.

Every day is a fight for survival. Every day is a fight for them to make a stand and find a place in this world. Things have changed from two years ago… I just keep hoping every day that this was a change for the better.

This story takes place in the fictitious city called Yorkshire located in the state of Massachusetts in the United States. It is set a few years in the future, 2016. This is a sequel to the RP Stxxxches.


In 2014, Yorkshire witnessed an abrupt rise in abnormals -- creatures/beings that are not human -- overrunning the city. The Hunters Council worked frantically to keep their appearance under wraps, but the arrival of Abel and Cain demolished any hope of keeping the humans unaware of their existence. Within the organization there were several acts of betrayal that soon brought the Hunters Council down to ruins. As a final push, Cain broadcasted the abnormals' existence so the entire world was soon informed of everything the Hunters Council had kept quiet for centuries.

Chaos soon followed. Angels, demons, dragons, vampires, a witch, a phoenix, humans, and a Zidar, all met on the battlefield -- their own power only adding fuel to the fire. Yorkshire was up in flames, threatening to completely collapse. But Cain was destroyed, his erected tower crumbling away in his demise, leaving a massive slum area in its wake that to this day has still not been rebuilt.

But though Cain is gone, his corruption still remains. In the end, friends turned their backs on one another. Enemies shook hands, forming an alliance. Families were destroyed. The city still lays in shambles. And there are whispers that some sort of a cult following for Cain remain underground.

Hunters have been split down the middle. The black and white teachings all of them had been brainwashed with have finally cleared to a degree for some. Some Hunters are growing to trust the abnormals, wanting them to have as much freedom as the humans are allowed to. But there are still Hunters who feel that all abnormals need to be watched, killed, or imprisoned. The Hunters Council is in shambles, their leader having vanished in the attack on Head Quarters in 2014. A new one has come in, but some of the Hunters don't see eye to eye with him. Within the corporation, there are still the corrupt Hunters, setting the Hunters wishing freedom for the abnormals at unease. There is no doubt that a war will break out between the two sides soon enough and blood will be shed.

There are abnormals who are Hunters as well, brought into the company by Sheliss and Tiger near the end of the war with Cain. Most of them face resistance and disgust by the other side of the Hunters.

A Vampire's Council is also within the city. It's a tightly run organization that mostly keeps to itself, rarely interacting with the Hunters Council. Not much is known about them and what they stand for except that they keep their eyes on the vampires within the city and make sure they keep to their rules.

Everything is in chaos, the abnormals trying to find a place in this world, and most humans resisting their attempts. The bloodshed and corruption of Cain still lingers, still feeds the evil in humans and abnormals alike. Each side has their own villains, hate feeding all of their hearts.

Peace between the two races seem to be only a wishful dream...

ӿӿӿӿ If you are one of the many unfortunates who were not a part of the first RP, then I'll just make this clear... Romance is more than fine. Just don't come here looking for a "good time" *nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more say no more.* The people in this RP work damn hard on their posts and definitely would not like to see this RP closed because you couldn't keep your clothes on.

ӿӿӿӿ As for what you would like to use for a pic for your little devilish character there, I'll accept pretty much any kind -- except celebrities. No really. You don't want that. You come into this RP with a picture of Johnny Depp as your character I will somehow manage to have my characters constantly stalk yours. Don't do it. Please? Anime, video games, real life photos, all cool. Just no celebrities. Even the horrible ones, like Justin Bieber that you might just be tempted to create just so you could throw him in front of a bus. Don't do it. (I'll create a separate RP for you to do that in if you want... just so I can watch and laugh... )

ӿӿӿӿ The topic of God modding... Ah... I'm going to get into more depth of what I mean for this one. If, for some reason, you need to puppet someone else's character, ask them first. I'd prefer it be out in the open on our OOC thread, just in case there's some drama that unfolds with it. I'd rather not turn this into a Law and Order episode with the "he said she said" bs and me having to spend countless nights looking over evidence to get to the bottom of it. Really, I'm not interested in becoming a cop or a DA or whatever. But if you got a writer buddy then you don't have to worry about me knowing about your puppet privilege. However, if the other person starts bitching that you're being a complete a** doing it... Well then you get to meet my missile launcher in your face as I launch you out of the RP. Now, as for the whole 'My character iz liek so l337 and willz kickz your azz leftz an' rightz and iz INVINCIBLE!' .... Yeah no thanks. Take your profile somewhere else, Chuckles.

ӿӿӿӿ Swearing is cool with me. It's cool with a lot of people on here. The atom 'F' bomb gets dropped a lot in this series, especially by some of my characters. Just... please... please don't sound like a broken record with it. Because we will laugh at you. A lot. And point at you while we do it. And then possibly throw some soap in your mouth. And then the great big Thesaurus from Stxxxches will come down upon you and smite you in the crotch.

I'm not saying I won't accept any cat characters. But if I go to look at the picture of your character and she is in a damn maid's outfit with cute neko ears and that little "omg, I iz so scared that no one will ever lufflez me" expression on their face (I'm sure some of you know exactly what pictures I'm talking about here, we've all seen them hundreds of times and then some)... You will not be accepted. Period. Also, I will laugh at you. So spare yourself and don't send me a profile with them. See? This is why we have rules. We don't want our neighbor knocking on our door for a dash of brains. I know these things...

I would like to give a massive amount of credit for this RP's creation to Veritas Airieth. He's a pain in the a** in getting him to post, I know! But being more serious is that ScArs and probably Stxxxches as well would not have happened without his contribution of deep (mostly evil...) plots, ideas, and suggestions. It just wouldn't have been as big as it is today. ScArs just would not have such a deep plot line if it weren't for him.

Everyone else in Stxxxches, even the ones who where bastards and ditched it early, get credit as well for ScArs (the ditchers get only a tiny amount). Obviously none of this would have happened without your characters, your own twists and turns in the storyline, and your contribution to the plot. Thank you guys so much, especially to the ones who stuck it through to the end. They get massive credit for that one because there was a hell of a lot of drama near the end. *hangs head in shame*

øWhen roleplaying, PLEASE feel free to add whatever location you would like to the city of Yorkshire. Just because I listed several out, doesn't mean that's it. Yorkshire is set on the ocean and based off of New York City and Boston. That means, there are thousands of locations in this city -- it's big enough to take more than what we already have listed! And if your location becomes popular enough, I'll speak with you and possibly add it to the list of locations.
øAs always, anything new added to the rules or what have you I'll add here and color it red. Though honestly I always forget about this little board...
øAll inactive characters have been removed from the profile page, so if you are unsure if you're kind of screwed over at the moment, please check over the page. If the character you were interacting with is not listed, you are going to have to move on under the assumption that that character will not be returning. If you would like to puppet that character for some fun or to make it feel a bit more realistic with the abandoning aspect, you have full permission to do so. This means killing them off as well. If for some reason you require their profile information, please ask me. Their profiles are saved in an undisclosed area for such purposes.
