Zzz...The Head of the Plateo Family...zzZ

The air surrounding them became still. Silence covered the wind just as the sky opened up. It's vast glory coated it's dark sea sprinkled with stars underneath the new family. With Shay and Gate making their escape Sinnois drew his eye away from them. His intentions were hidden, but this was what allowed him to be so wondrous. With his silver eye he watched the woman's actions. She was quite cute flustered. It wasn't as if it was on purpose, yet Sinnois just found her cute. Soon enough Am wandered off into the alley. Sinnois tilted his head over to watch her without much interest. Of course he turned Wolfie in the same direction as Sinnois' own eye. It was almost astonishing, Am did what most men would do when frustrated; she hit a wall. Then after her drama with a wall finished she nonchalantly returned with a determined gaze.

The moment she returned Sinnois' eye was locked onto her forehead. There was a small gash from here head. Deep red coated the blond bangs on her forehead. Patting himself down Sinnois began to search, for something. Feeling a small book in his left back pocket along with his wallet he had nothing in his pockets, that could be useful. Sinnois then rose his single arm up to pat his chest, and the result was the same. "Hold on okay Little man?"[/color] Sinnois asked before lifting Wolfie above his head placing him on top of his shoulders. Allowing him to rest high in the air with Sinnois' hair to grab if he got scared. Leaning forward Sinnois balanced his torso toward Am just, so Wolfie wouldn't fall. Since he did place Wolfie on top of his shoulders allowing both legs to fall down his chest. Truth be told Sinnois took a liking to this 'Little Man'. Finally having both arms free Sinnois tore a piece of his dress shirt's sleeve. Rip and there his sleeve went just after Sinnois used his teeth to shred, that sleeve. His rather large chest was pivoted as he mad a quick twirl. It only took him three steps to be standing behind Am with some fluent slick motions. Dangling the torn fabric across her neck Sinnois brought it above her chin to tie it gently across her forehead. Sinnois couldn't allow any lady to have her face wounded. Even if she did it herself it just killed him. Sinnois barked before patting the top of her head. Then he swung his arm around her shoulder walking her forward. Am looked like a badass Rambo woman with his gentle cotton around her forehead.

Ultimately remembering her conversation about Tiger. "Tiger? That drunken old man broke three of my ribs ages ago! He was drunk might I add, and drove me over his jeep..." Sinnois was cut off by his stomach growing. "Now just who are you?" Sinnois broke the ice. He patched her up, and was holding a child on top of his shoulders. Time was ticking though, for he won't be in the present for much longer.

Haruka munched on his second pizza piece, watching the female eat in a lightning speed, but she wasn't sloppy or anything like that, she just ate rather fast. He wondered how she could keep her figure, she was after all quite beautiful and slim. Aiden talked about the two items of food Haruka didn't know of one by one and he glanced at them with a curious, but nervous expression. He eyed the plate with his share of these strange things and bit his buttom lip in wonder. Haruka was a bit of a p***y when it came to new things, specially food, but he felt like he should atleast try since the red haired woman spoke so fondly of them, promising it would suit his tastes.

Carefully he reached out his hands, wrapping his fingers around the cheesy stick before sticking it into his mouth just as carefully. He chewed on it for a while, not really sure what he was supposed to say about it, it didn't taste bad, but neither was it his favorite. Despite that he still ate it without complaint and smiled gently, he was that sort of person that had deep respect for people that gave him food and usually ate what was on the table, it really didn't matter if he liked it or not. After finishing that item he reached for the cake and sniffed at it before taking a bite. Now that he enjoyed much better and he smiled brightly at her.

When he heard the lightning he almost jumped out of his chair, but he easily calmed himself again and eyed the outside with nervousness, there was no way he was going out there, even if that meant he had to chain himself to the chair or bed or something like that. Luckily Aiden told him he could stay until it at least calmed down and he was rather happy to hear this, despite lying on air madress didn't quite sound like his cup of tea, he wouldn't complain the slightest. At least he wasn't alone and he had a roof on top of his head. Yet again he looked to her with a bright smile, nodding as to say yes. Flinching lightly as the thunder rolled trough the sky.

However his smile died as his golden hues spotted the pink spot on Aiden's cheek, it wasn't from any natrual reaction since the other one wasn't colored at all. Haruka frowned and furrowed his brow in thought, he looked to her in worry, eyeing the pink part of skin. "Did somebody hurt you?" he asked gently, reaching his clean hand over gently stroking a finger on the side of her cheek, pondering who would do such a thing and why. He wondered if it had been his fault, if the thugs had come back to toss her about a bit, or perhaps she had been harm while going for the food. Actually he was feeling a bit annoyed at who ever had hurt her, wanting to make sure they never did it again.

Finally, finally the woman jerked awake and what did she do? Run away like a scared mouse while slamming her head into the headboard and hissing at him to stay the hell away from her. Of course, Kyvael put two and two together and figured out it probably had something to do with her dream, but that didn't mean her actions didn't make him cross anyway. He was already in a bad mood as it was. Those pupils within his golden pools narrowed almost to the point of slitting, but not quite that far yet. His hand still hovered where Rain's head had once been before slowly retracting to settle in his lap. He was trying to control his temper at the moment, which was hard to do with the rain falling in behind him. It was so damn wet in here! While studying Rain, Kyvael noticed her eyes flicking to the sobbing vampire behind him. The girl had shown up right after Max had tore through the wall and not too soon after she fell to the ground sobbing. Honestly, all this hormonal bullshit was getting on his nerves. Maybe after this he'd ban women from his life. So far, they seemed too much trouble than they were worth.

Inhaling deeply, he let the breath out very slowly before he stood, never allowing his gaze to trail from Rain. Kyvael knew she wasn't completely human at this point but he wasn't sure what she was capable of so it was better to be safe than sorry. Lifting his hands mid-way, he got into a stance that spoke 'I surrender' as he backed away. If she suddenly came at him, he couldn't promise he wouldn't toss her around a bit. It would be self defense at that point, anyway. Before anything could happen, however, that stupid blonde dragon came back. Without warning, he entered Kyvael's mind with echoing words: 'Unfortunately, I can't promise that this won't hurt.' What the hell did that mean? He found out when Max suddenly surged forward, grabbed onto Rain and shoved some kind of glowing ball into her being. Kyvael's eyes widened but he didn't dare take a step forward less that cause Rain to snap. Already he was curious on how she would react to Max randomly attacking her. Whatever that dragon was doing to Rain, Kyvael was sure either the woman or Emery would take care of it. No need for him to get involved so hastily.

User ImageThe Elder watched from his position as Isamu managed to evade his attackers. What a strong vampire he was, and he was only getting stronger with each day that passed. After all, with age came strength for a vampire. Not to mention every encounter Isamu entered made him a better fighter. For just a split second the elder became concerned. What if he lacked the power to kill the vampire himself? Isamu's ability to steal other vampires powers was ridiculous. If Isamu managed to feed on his blood, the vampire would be near unstoppable.

Crossing his arms over his chest he looked over his shoulder to the twins. "Isamu stole something very precious to me," The Elder told the two, going into a story. "My family." The Elder turned back to the building that was the VC and narrowed his eyes from behind the hood. "The Vampire Council is run by the elders. We protect our people and make sure that things never get too out of control. One day Isamu came here and destroyed four of the five elders. I was the only one that survived. He took my daughter from me." Just remembering how things played out that day made the elder want to jump into the battle himself. But, he had other plans. "Please enter the building, find him, and slay him. I will be here waiting."

Reaching into his cloak the vampire pulled out an item. It was a necklace with a eye for a pendant. "When you return with Isamu's body you will receive this." He let the necklace dangle from his index finger before putting it back into his cloak. "He won't be hard to find. Just follow the trail of blood."

The vampire brother's listened to the elder's story with little interest. So this was all about revenge, then? It really didn't matter. The boys were only interested in the prize and the objective and although Ansiel was still skeptical, he didn't complain. Both eyed the necklace when it was shown, obviously impressed and eager to take possession of it. Nodding to the command, Azriel peeked back at his brother with a grin. "Hide and seek was our favorite game when we were little. We've gotten pretty good at it." Ansiel couldn't help but return Azriel's grin. He had to agree with the fact that hide and seek had always been thrilling. "Ready when you are, bro. I don't think finding this guy will be a problem." With a chuckle, Azriel took an eager step forward. "Ready or not, Isamu, here we come." Leaping from the roof top, the brothers followed each other step by step, almost like mirrors. One could easily tell they were accustomed to fighting together with Azriel in the lead and Ansiel as his back up.

The boys easily made their way into the building, weaving in and out of the vampires that still lingered within. There weren't as many left as Ansiel first thought. Isamu had managed to take out quite a bit despite the fact that he was fleeing and outnumbered. How dangerous was this guy and was that necklace worth the risk? Despite these thoughts, Ansiel didn't slow his pace afraid that if he did, he'd lose track of his brother. Silently, the twins made their way deeper and deeper into the VC, following the trail of destruction left behind due to all the fighting. From the looks of things, Isamu had made his way deeper into the building where the halls were narrow and easier to fight multiple people at once. It was pretty clever, but not clever enough with Ansiel's abilities. The two of them slowed down when they entered a room with many dead bodies piled up. Isamu probably stayed in this area awhile to kill this many people so the other was probably still lingering somewhere. Cautiously, the twins stayed close to one another while their eyes scanned the room. Ansiel was almost certain Isamu was near by and his instincts were hardly ever wrong.

What the ******** was going on?! What was Cain doing to her now? She looked from Kyvael to Ukina breathing heavily with her arms spread against the headboard as she lowered herself into a crouch. Kyvael was backing off and her breathing slowed down a bit. What was this? Rain glanced down at her bed that was tussled but no longer covered in frost, glanced at her outfit that wasn't removed, glanced at the balcony door frames that were broken but hadn't been a minute ago, and finally glanced at her body that wasn't soaked in blood. Was it a trick?

Rain didn't have the time to try to calm down and make sense out of all of this. Max came bursting in said something in her head that she couldn't process due to shock, and then moved behind her. "NO! NO NO NO NO NO!" she screamed bloody murder, not having suspected that Cain had moved on to looking like Max. She began thrashing viciously, trying to break away as she sobbed in completely terror, trembling as she felt his body pressed tightly against her own. It was happening all over again, he was going to make her bleed, make her hurt, kill someone else, maybe Ukina now. Why was no one stopping this?! Why were they letting this happen?! "STOP! PLEASE! NO MORE!" she begged, just as she felt something strange be pushed through her back.

The pain she felt in her limbs from the beating from Cain dulled into a light throb before turning into just a dull ache. She felt herself calm down slowly, her heartbeat easing and her breathing settling. She was afraid to look behind her to see Cain, but whatever he just pushed into her calmed her panic and terror enough for her to turn her head. "M-Max?" she asked, afraid that Cain would answer her back. But as whatever the dragon had just done to her eased her spirit and rationality came seeping back into her, she looked around at the others. "It was just a nightmare... wasn't it?"

Her cheeks flushed and she pulled away from Max, completely horrified and embarrassed with herself. "I'm sorry," she mumbled, quickly wiping the dried blood from the corner of her mouth, figuring maybe she had gotten it from biting the inside of her cheek too hard during the dream. She looked over at Ukina who was still crying, completely perplexed. "But if Emery isn't dead... Ukina... why are you crying?" Had she done something horrible to the little vampire while she had been sleeping?

He was staring at her. But not at her eyes like normal human beings. He was staring at her forehead. She couldn't get annoyed because no one around her was annoyed anymore. How frustrating. So with only Sinnois and a faint trace of Gate's fear left to mimic, Am could only stare curiously at him. What was his problem? She watched as he patted himself down, obviously looking for something. That was when she felt something trickle down her forehead. Her eyes bulged then, Gate's fear able to break in as she panicked. "Something is on my face, something is on my face!" she squealed, panicking. She didn't know if she should touch it! What if it was something gross?!

Meanwhile Wolfie nodded to Sinnois as he instructed him to hold on. No problem. Wolfie was curious as to what this man was looking for. Maybe it was a teddy bear? Or an action figure! Maybe it was some powerful Devour of God weapon! As Wolfie settled on his shoulder, he grabbed the man's hair lightly and peeked over his head down at his arm. He held on a little more tightly as Sinnois grabbed his sleeve in his teeth and ripped it off. Then the two were doing twirls and maneuvered around his mother until they were behind her. Wolfie held on to his little top hat until they settled, but his attention focused back on his mom. It was strange... she was never afraid of anything. Especially not blood.

Am froze then, never having had anyone willing to get that close to her. She wasn't sure what to feel then as Sinnois tied a piece of cloth around her forehead like a headband. For a moment she was reminded of Cain with how he treated her so tenderly before he impaled her with his sword and then absorbed her soul into his. In that moment, Am had felt happiness. Not the pain happiness that she got when she delivered torture upon others. Maybe because he was happy, she was too? Like Cain had been happy in that moment. Was Sinnois happy?

She didn't ask, but allowed him to lead her forward, still feeling slightly confused about that weird moment a second ago. No one took care of Am after all. Well... Tiger once had, when she was locked up by the Hunters. Ugh! This was all confusing!

She tuned in, just as Sinnois explained about what Kenny had done to him. Ha! Reckless Kenny. She nodded in an all knowing fashion. Sinnois wouldn't be the first hit and run Tiger had done. She was going to explain this to him when he asked who she was. Her little ears picked up his stomach rumbling and she knew she should probably get the new Uncle fed.

"Jessica. But you can call me Am, everyone else does," she said. She ducked under his arm around her, unable to take the confusion anymore and moved over to George. "We should get you home and get some food in you. Don't want our new family member starving, do we?" She motioned for Sinnois to join her on top of George. "And you are?" she asked while she waited.

Isamu slowly rose to his feet and flexed his fingers. He made a tight fist before releasing it, doing this repeatedly. The vampire didn't have a lot of fight left him. He was tired and bleeding from many wounds that were taking far too long to heal. His fingers trailed the cuts that were all over his face and leaking blood. He had to escape. Isamu couldn't let Ukina die.

After taking a few breaths the vampire left his hiding spot. Isamu did a good job of avoiding the vampires as he made his way from room to room, hiding when he needed to. The vampire found a room that he was in earlier with bodies on the floor and he kicked one of them over, looking down at vampires dead face. Just what was going on? Why were they attacking him all of a sudden? From what he understood he was doing a good job and not too many vampires were displeased with his work. He'd made life easier for them. Made finding food easier for them. He saved more humans from vampires than the VC and HC combined! So why?

The vampire looked over his shoulder quickly when he heard the door opening. Using his speed he jumped up and clung to the wooden ceiling, watching as two vampires entered. Isamu figured they were looking for him and that meant they were here to kill him. Without hesitation he let go of the ceiling and drew his sword while in the air, coming down towards Azriel, sword swinging down on him in an attempt to cut him in half.

Meanwhile, in Rain's home, Ukina was having a hard time pulling herself together. Everything that had gone on in that room she missed. She couldn't focus. The only good thing that was going on, in her opinion, was that she wasn't dead which meant Isamu was still alive. But for how long? How could she help? There was no way she could take on the VC by herself and rescue her Isamu. Was this going to be the end of them?

While Max did what he was doing to Rain Ukina finally managed to pull herself together. She lowered her hands and her bangs shaded her face. The tears ran down her cheeks as she began to focus on her surroundings. It seemed like Rain was coming to, and that was a good thing. At her question Ukina lifted her head and looked at Rain with teary eyes. "It's Ura... an army of vampires are hunting him..." Ukina revealed. "I-I don't know what to do... Their numbers are too great for a rescue... I'm sure this has something to do with the return of the elder..." Ukina rose to her feet and suddenly remembered her current mission. It was to protect Rain. "Are you all right, Rain?" She asked, calming down and wiping her face. The short vampire looked up to the girl once more and said, "You were having a really bad dream."

Azriel was quick to react. He had pick up on movement up above so thankfully he summoned Osmonde and swung the sword upward just in time to use it as a shield against Isamu's own sword. So the b*****d had been clinging to the ceiling like a spider, eh? Hissing, Azriel pushed against the clashing swords, returning the swing full force to fling Isamu off to the side. Currently, Azriel had the advantage since Isamu had been airborne. Ansiel, on the other hand, took a step back to get out of Azriel's way. He held out his hand to summon Riva, clutching the scythe's handle in both hands while the bandages that normally wound around it came loose. As natural as breathing was, Ansiel's telekinisis took over, allowing the wrappings to have a life of their own and move around him like serpents. Just like his weapon, these wraps were special. They weren't as easily cut like normal cloth was and they could actually flex and stretch, giving him a larger fighting range. This made Riva a great offensive and defensive weapon.

Ducking back, Azriel carefully maneuvered so he wouldn't trip over the bodies as he moved. Even if Isamu managed to recover, Azriel wasn't allowing him to get too close. Focusing his energy into Osmonde, the long sword caught flame, burning a bright red, crackling fire as he repositioned himself and pointed the tip towards Isamu. "We have no real quarrel with you, Isamu of the VC. Just surrender and we promise your death will be quick." Unfortunately, Azriel couldn't say he'd let the man live. His orders were clear and if they wanted that necklace, they had to bring that old man back Isamu's body as proof of his death. The twins then parted and took each a side so that they were blocking Isamu's path. If the vampire wished to flee, he'd have to run into one of the two twins first.

When Azriel blocked Isamu's eyes narrowed. He'd been expecting the sneak attack to work. Already he could tell that the enemy was skilled in battle. They weren't like the other vampires that only knew how to bully humans due to their enhanced speed and strength. No, they were different from the vampires that didn't pick on someone their own size. Isamu wished that he wasn't as weak as he was at the moment so that he could put on a good show.

Azriel sent Isamu flying hard into the wall. The vampires back collided with it and he slid down to the floor, his teeth clenched from the pain. His eyes began to glow as he watched the vampires, who he was assuming were siblings, block his exit. Isamu's eyes went to Ansiel. He looked him over and glanced at his weapon of choice. That was going to be troublesome. His eyes followed the bandages and wondered what they could do exactly. It was bad enough that it was two to one. Now the two had troublesome weapons that might spell the end for Isamu.

The vampire looked up at Azriel from his sitting position and hissed at him. He didn't reply to the sibling. Instead, he quickly hopped to his feet and darted to a corner of the room. Once at the corner he pushed his feet against the wall and flew right toward Ansiel. Electricity wrapped around the blade as he swung at Ansiel's head in an attempt to behead him.

Both the siblings kept their eyes on the already injured prey. Ansiel didn't like this situation, not at all. It wasn't that he was afraid they were going to lose; it was more along the feeling that he was picking on a kicked puppy. Still, he wouldn't leave Azriel to fight on his own. Curiously, Ansiel tilted his head as he watched the other man scramble into a corner. At first, Ansiel questioned whether or not the man was purposely trying to kill himself but then the older vampire's intentions were revealed. He had taken a moment to size the twins up and Ansiel guessed he looked the weakest since Isamu had chosen to attack him instead of Azriel. The younger twin braced himself, but soon found courage when he noticed Isamu's blade was sparking with electricity. It seemed this vampire didn't know anything about the twins. As soon as Isamu was within range, those bandages lashed out first, attempting to curl and coil around those exposed limbs of the enemy. At the same time, Ansiel adjusted Riva so that her blade would clash with Isamu's own so that Ansiel could absorb the electricity that the sword was producing.

Azriel simply watched from his point in the room. He hadn't expected Isamu to simply give up. The man had fought his way through up until now so he would be an idiot to simply turn himself over without trying. Besides, in Azriel's eyes this made Isamu a better man. Like most people, Isamu assumed that Ansiel was the weaker fighter and most of the time it was true, but his brother could still very much hold his own. They often sparred to make sure Ansiel would be alright on his own but by far the other was much better at long distance fights than up close and personal combat. Getting ready, Azriel twirled Osmonde and turned to better face Ansiel. If his assumptions were correct, then Ansiel wouldn't want to finish Isamu himself. He'd probably just parry and toss the vampire to Azriel's direction in hopes Azriel could impale him with his sword. Azriel was quite use to Ansiel's soft-hearted tactics but he would just have to wait and see. Sometimes things turned out differently depending on the enemy.

Aiden wanted to reach out and comfort him when he flinched from the noises of the storm, but knew it might make him feel awkward that a girl was comforting him once more. Golden green eyes watched as he chewed the cheesy bread, laughing softly at his face. Not in a mean way, just that he seemed to be trying to make her feel better by eating the bread. When he ate the cake though, his face lit up like a kid on Christmas. When he nodded to the suggestion of staying, she sent a smile to him in return, eating a for of cake, she made a humming noise, showing her own appreciation for the dessert. Though her happiness died a little when he asked about the mark on her cheek, reaching out to touch it gently.

"What? Oh...."

Aiden was quiet for a moment, not wanting to bug him with her problems, but he seemed to be genuinely concerned about it.

"Just some old bitty at the parlor. She got upset because I was dancing in the rain before I went in, and she was in a huff for me being wet. She slapped me and called me a harlot. Told me my mother should have taught me better. Just goes to show you, that we may look the same, but we don't act the same. She didn't even know I was Different, and yet she still struck me."

The last was whispered. Aiden was used to the Hunters treating her differently, but when someone she didn't even know did it, without knowing about her, it threw her off. Made her wonder if she was just that bad a person. Flashing a smile she didn't really feel, she sipped her drink and slid the unfinished cake away from her. Unfolding her legs from under herself, she slid from the seat, her hair sliding to cover her face.

"Let me grab the air mattress so you can give it a go and see if you want it really soft, or firm. And it has a heating element so you won't get cold, though with the heater on in here, I doubt you'll need it."

Her voice had gone soft again, a tell tale sign that she was once again not as happy as she pretended to be. It wasn't Hakura's fault, it was her own confusion. She didn't understand how people could be so filled with hate when the world was already full to the brim with it. Wasn't it better to be happy and spread happiness than spill vileness with every step? Her thoughts flinted across her features as she moved along, pulling the mattress out, and unfolding it, then going back for the pump. Plugging it in, she started it, the apartment filled with a low level hum. Smiling at him in passing, she opened a small side cabinet and pulled out sheets and blankets. Settling them down on a nearby chair, she slipped into her room and grabbed a pillow from the bed and brought it back out. Seeing that the mattress was ready, she shut off the pump, turning towards him.

"So, whatcha think? Think it will be up to snuff?"

Aiden asked, her hair hiding the mark on her cheek. It seemed that now that it had been pointed out, she didn't want to draw attention to it anymore. Afraid that he would agree with the woman.

Location: Wolfgang's...house...thing? l Company: Wolfgang l Mood: Dizzy, tired l Outrageously Ordered Chaos:

Nyx cocked an eyebrow towards Wolfgang when he said she had the flair of a deranged criminal. Did she really? There were no mirrors as far as she could tell in the shop, but she imagined what she must look like: wet, dark circles under her eyes, pale complexion, generally like s**t. When was the last time Rek had actually let her sleep? Ugh, she couldn't remember, now that she thought about it. Maybe three days ago? Four? Didn't matter. She could sleep later.

"...Maybe I wanted some good karma in my life? Maybe I thought you'd make a good customer? Maybe I felt the need to show a young crook to the Whispered Market. Hunters have been looking for this place for years. Never found it. This is the Supernatural's seedy underbelly. Where illegal goods and merchandise are fenced, hawked, bought, bargained and killed over."

It seemed like Wolfgang had move on with the conversation, talking about the Whispered Market. Ah, that was the name of this place. She had heard of it once or twice in the past, though Rek seemed to hold much more interest in the name that she did, despite the fact that the Dragon remained silent. Nyx rested her elbow on the table and placed her chin on her palm, sighing softly. She was still a bit dizzy, though feeling better. But moving on. The man spoke of the real reason why he had brought her here: her blood. Something about an Alchemical Reagent? Whatever that was. In return, he was offering her what she assumed were potions and artifacts.

"So what do ya say? Sound like a deal? Plenty of dangerous and wild artifacts... and you have a look on you like someone wanting vengeance. Or just bloodshed. I always confuse those two~"

'What do you think?'

'Hmm.....Very tempting. This guy is pretty crazy, he's bound to have some rather interesting stuff laying around here. I doubt you won't be of interest to him anyway, given you have the blood of a Chimera and I of a Dragon. I doubt you'll miss bloody anyway.'

'Whatever, if this goes bad it's on you.'

"Fine, we have a deal. But if you try anything funny, I won't hesistate to skin you alive and use your flesh for an umbrella."

Aiden explained the mark then moved away, trying to hide it with her hair and talking about the air bed, probably to have other things to think about and do instead of that silly slap. Haruka furrowed his brow and walked after her, watching as she pumped up the bed and waited when she vanished into her room. He eyed the bed on the floor and frowned slightly, he really didn't want to sleep on one of those, despite it being all warm and fuzzy, but he wouldn't complain, after all Aiden had done so much for him already, she was a saint really.

He smiled at her gently and once more brought his hand up to her cheek, cupping it lightly. "Somebody should hit her twice as hard for harming you, you didn't deserve it" he said softly, giving her a charming smile and talking in his sing song voice. "I hope it doesn't hurt too much" he added and glanced down to his makeshift bed "Thanks for the blankets and all.." he commented softly.

Suddenly a lightning shot from the sky and Haruka jumped in shock, practically flying into Adrien and her arms, wrapping his own body against hers. He trembled slightly, trying to think of happy things instead. Haruka was really afraid of thunder and lightning the only reason why he had been so calm so far was because he had been eating and sitting, not wanting to seem weak in front of the red haired wonder. The thunder soon followed and Haruka carefully looked out the window, stepping away from the woman with a bright blush on his cheeks. "Sorry.." he mumbled under his breath, staring at his own toes, his hands still trembling slightly in after shock.

Aiden was touched that he cared enough to wish harm on another for striking her. It wasn't the first time, and probably wasn't the last time, but she wasn't going to tell him that. For a brief moment, she took in the heat of his touch, a sigh slipping from her, before he stepped back. His dubious look at the air mattress had her rethinking about making him sleep on it, but before she could comment lightening lit up the sky followed by a loud rumble of thunder. When Hakura was suddenly in her embrace and shaking like a leaf, she wanted to smile. As he stepped back she did smile.

"Well I know it's not proper, but you are welcome to share my bed if the storm bothers you that much, which it looks like it does. Nothing funny, I promise, just sleeping."

Aiden spoke, laughter evident in her raspy voice. She wasn't making fun of him, she thought it was adorable that he was so skittish of a storm. Wanting to comfort him, she went to step closer, but just then the lights clicked out with a clap of thunder.

"Well crap on toast. Looks like we are making it by the candle light. If you can see, would you mind grabbing the tall candles in the kitchen? I think they are on top of the fridge. If not then in the drawer closest to the sink."

As she spoke, her voice moved about in the darkness. When lightening flashed through the window she was in a different place every time. Moving about quietly, she brought out a few bigger, fat candles and lit them. Setting them down on the coffee table, she turned to see if he had found the candles, hoping he wasn't scared stiff by the power outage and storm. The storms that happened in the city never really bothered Aiden, it just showed her how small she was compared to the cast majority that was Earth. Taking a smaller candle, she moved towards Hakura, to light any candles that he found if he had moved to get them.
