Arebes had his hands on the ground and was focusing on releasing the electricity into the ground. However that didn't mean he wasn't focusing on what was happening around him. He glanced behind him as Rae created a huge wall of plant life, blocking the humans and dream catchers from making it to the Dream Palace. His focus wasn't on the wall long, he couldn't very well turn away from those he was attacking. However, it appeared that now they were floating in a stationary way thanks to one of the human females. She caused them to float out of the way of the unstable ground beneath them. However, because of this little trick they were now floating and unable to really move meaning they were in perfect range of getting electrocuted and struck by lightning.

While Arebes was mostly focused on killing the Dream Catchers he wouldn't mind if the humans were killed in the process, especially if they attempted to stand in his way, and it appeared that one of the human males planned to do just that. The male caused some trees on the Nightmare's side to catch on fire, and not soon after that did he proceed to turn his weapon on Arebes and began firing. Just before he started firing Oracle showed up and created a smoke screen to both hide Arebes as well as allow the humans to escape. It was to late for the smoke screen to really do much for him, and Arebes was hit with a bullet in the shoulder. However, thanks to the electricity flowing through his entire body the bullet melted and flowed out of the wound. Arebes already had melted metal and steel all over his body, such as under his eye and stomach, so it didn't bother him much but that would be the last bullet that this man hit him with.

Launching huge bolts of lightning out the ground they hit the bullets being shot at him, creating a sort of wall of lightning, melting and igniting the bullets. While this was happening one of the other Nightmares, Hydra, decided to come out of his hiding spot and help. Though he seemed to be focusing more on getting the human electrocuted then anything else, one of the human females yelling for someone to help as her and another were being dragged to the ground. It was around then that Arebes felt something was off. His emotions and expression were still calm and collected, despite being injured. However, his breathing had quickened do to the wound. It was then that the meadow was covered with darkness, Arebes glanced up at the sky to see the eclipse. Deimos.

Soon enough the Nightmare Lord revealed himself by killing one of the Dream Catchers, the little dragon changing Dream Catcher was now dead. It was then that Deimos turned his attention to Arebes and his attack, ending it by destroying the ground. Arebes stood up straight as he watched Deimos, his breathing still heavy. It appeared as though the Nightmare Lord was creating a sort of distraction to allow the humans and Dream Catchers to escape. It was then that he watched the Nightmare Lord appear behind the Dream Catcher that Arebes was going to kill, swinging his sword down on her. Arebes merely looked away wondering just how the humans were going to take all that has just happened. While he would have preferred killing the Dream Catcher female, it wouldn't matter who killed her just as long as she died.

Arebes remained standing in the field, not moving. Blood from the wound in his shoulder flowing down his arm, but his expression remained calm. He had his orders, having heard them echoing in his head, and would remain in the meadow awaiting further orders, though he would have preferred just killing them all while they were distracted by Deimos. It appeared that the Nightmare Lord had other things planned. Plans that Arebes would hear out.

Before her orders were given, Nina had been prowling the halls of the Nightmare Tower, searching for her most favorite person - Arebes. Unfortunately after searching just about every nook and cranny within the tower, he was nowhere to be seen. Ninarael finally gave up not too far from the dungeons and let out an annoyed huff. The man was always avoiding her! But then again it made searching for him even more fun. Especially when she would finally find him. Regardless, the Nightmare had a feeling she knew where Arebes was anyways. Deimos had warned them he would be bringing the humans to the tower, but should something go wrong considering Eliniel had managed to get through his wards once already, they may be sent to the Lost Meadow. She assumed Arebes was hiding out there just in case they showed up.

Looking out a nearby window, Ninarael glanced outside towards the Meadow. Despite being not too far from the dungeon (which was underground), she still had a pretty clear view of the open field not too far away from them. And she seemed to have picked the perfect timing as a brilliant blast of white and dark lights burst in the Meadow. She smirked slightly, knowing that meant their "guests" had arrived. However that also meant the Dream Walker was able to interfere, getting through the wards again. She was a powerful little being, but still no match for Deimos now. Upon seeing this, Nina pushed away from the window and walked away from the dungeons. A chill ran down her spine as she started to walk away, which she knew meant the Nightmare Lord was paying their prisoner a little visit. That thought was confirmed when she heard his roar echo through the halls nearby.

Her master's voice soon filled her head, barking out orders to the other Nightmares. Once her name was spoken she perked up just a little. Then he added Oracle to the same task. Nina frowned. She did not care for the woman, but she would work with her if that was what Deimos demanded. She started to make her way towards another window to jump out of a tower when she saw movement in the corner of her eye. Someone had walked past the hallway she was in, seeming almost lost. No Nightmares got lost in the tower. Curious, Nina put up an illusion on herself that would make her seem invisible, though one might notice if they got too close. She kept her distance and began to follow the person. She tried to get a good look of him, but only ever caught him just as he turned a corner. She could tell he was male, but that was it.

The intruder started to make his way towards the dungeons, which brought huge suspicions to Ninarael. Was it a dream catcher? How in the world did he manage to sneak in? She got another look at him, now able to see him a little more clearly and noticed he actually had horns protruding from his head. Perhaps the others thought nothing of it considering he did have a demonic appearance. Unfortunately for the intruder, Nina was very perceptive and knew pretty much every Nightmare under Deimos. And this was someone she had never seen once before. Plus despite his slightly Demonic appearance, he had a 'light' look to him still. As she watched him more, something about him seemed vaguely familiar.

Ninarael kept invisible as she followed the man into the dungeons. He had seemed hesitant at first, but soon continued one. She knew he was after rescuing Eliniel, but there was no way she was going to let that happen. Deimos would understand her not following his order directly in order to stop this intruder. Soon the man came up to Eliniel's prison. The two Knightmares had become active and were ready to charge. However Nina would have none of this yet. She wanted to find out who this man was first before letting the Knightmares tear him apart. With a wave of her hand, a black wall formed between the Knightmares and the intruder. It was another illusion, though the wall was physically there, causing the two Knightmares to stop immediately. Nina did another wave of her hand to disperse her own illusion of invilisibility. She grinned playfully at the Dream Catcher. "You must be awfully brave to come all the way down here by yourself. Or just very reckless." She moved so she was not too far behind him, but just out of sword's reach. She waited for the man to turn around so she could get a good look at his face. She leaned up casually against a nearby wall and started absently playing with a small orb of dark magic in her hands. She seemed unafraid of the man and it apppeared like she was toying with him.

One minute Zoey was safely on the ground and the next minute she was floating. Zoey's eyes were wide and she was watching as the ground was raising up and down and lightning was launching up from it. A lightning bolt launched from the ground and nearly hit her, it was so close that she could feel it and if it would have hit her then there was a good chance she wouldn't have survived. They may have escaped the unstable ground, but they were now sitting targets for the lightning that was launching up from the ground.

Glancing over towards the one who appeared to be doing this, she wished she could do something to stop him, but at the moment she was concerned that any sudden movements may cause something to happen, like her power to do something and harm someone. It was very clear that this was not a dream, and if that was indeed the case it made her wonder just what would happen if they got injured, or worse died. She didn't want to be the cause of someone's death because she had no control over what she was doing. However this was no time to be concerned about such things.

It was then that she caught the sight of some movement and quickly turned only to see a shadow of some kind launch up and wrap around both Eleisha and the girl that was making everyone float. Her eyes widened as she tried to move to help the two but could do nothing more then float. Looking towards the forest she tried to see if she could locate who it was that was doing this, but couldn't see through the flames and smoke. It also didn't help that there was now a smoke screen thanks to a new comer. Is she a Dream Catcher? She thought for a quick moment before quickly turning her attention back towards the two getting dragged towards the ground. Taking a deep breath she tried to focus on using her ability, but nothing happened. "Really?" She said to herself. It seemed her abilities only worked when she didn't want them to. While she continued to try her focus on helping her attention quickly changed to the sky.

Looking up she watched the sky darkened until it was hard to see anything. "What's happening?" She asked, curiously. However it appeared as though she would get her answer rather quickly. Someone or something appeared behind one of the Dream Catchers trying to help them and put a spear in his back. Her eyes widened in shock and she quickly used her hands to cover her mouth, stopping herself from screaming. Her thoughts began racing, but she couldn't turn away. It was then that she realized she was now standing on the ground. Still trying to process what was happening it was only when she heard the creatures voice that she was thrown back into reality.

She couldn't see anyone and didn't know where anyone was. Winged one? How could she follow someone she could barely see, that and how could she believe or listen to someone who had just murdered someone else. Zoey reached out to grab for one of the others, but couldn't feel anyone near her. Had the others left? She turned and ran into the forest, still in shock of seeing someone die before her. She had never seen anyone die, and before she realized it she was alone. "No." She said, turning quickly as she tried to figure out where she was. She needed to find the others, but where? She needed to go back, but no matter where she turned she couldn't figure out where she was. "I can't be lost." She whispered.

She tried to see if she could locate the Dream Palace, but couldn't see it through the trees. How long had she been running? She tried to catch her breath as she looked around. A part of her wanted to yell for help or for the others, but another part of her knew that if she did that then it might mean someone else might locate her, someone less friendly. She remained quiet and began moving, trying to listen to see if she could hear anyone but at the same time trying to locate the Dream Palace as well as the others.

Looking over at the man who told her to get them moving, Isleen nodded in response... only to feel something heavy tugging at her leg."Wha-?!?" The shadow attack from below caught her by surprise as she was pulled down for a moment, losing concentration of levitating the others. Trying to free herself from the shadow, as a lightning bolt nearly hit her near the head... before the lightning stopped... and the darkness began, the roar giving Isleen chills down her spine and the appearance that she just saw a ghost. Looking up she could see the sun was eclipsed and everything was shrouded with darkness. Isleen put the arrow she was holding in her left back in the quiver on her back, tightly holding onto her bow in her right... it might come in handy later on. A large dark figure appeared before them and before the hero's very eyes killed what seemed to be a Dream Catcher, the dragon that was helping them before. Her eyes went wide and looked away at the sight of blood. Isleen was scared out of her mind now, it showed through her eyes. Being released from the shadow that was pulling her down, Isleen looked towards the "winged one" who instructed them to go into the forest, a pang of confusion going through her. Was she a Dream Catcher or a Nightmare? The hero was confused which side the woman should be on. Looking towards Die, who seemed to be one of the last Dream Catchers, if not the only one, still with her and the others who seemed to have met the same fate as Isleen did.

Seeing everyone on the ground, now safe from the lightning and the "earthquake", and Isleen being the only one floating a few inches off the ground now, it was frighting the girl a lot to see someone die and be surrounded by some sort of dark magic that shrouded the meadow. It was like being in a middle of a dense fog, it limiting her vision of only seeing a few feet of her. Looking around in panic, she hoped to hear some other voice that would guide her to safety... Isleen had a good sense of direction, but right now everything was in shadows and it was hard to tell which way was the right way. Now everyone would still be on the ground, Isleen still looking around for a more familiar, and hopefully more friendly voice to guide her and possibly the others in the right direction. Isleen felt other people near her, but seeing them was another problem. With the sun eclipsed, everything turned dark and it looked more like night, just without the stars and the moon that shined down as a guiding light.

  • Now there was an interesting development! One of the dream catchers he'd being holding and trying to drag down with his shadows had grown a pair of wings and was trying to fly away. Perhaps he should have tied her up a little better. Tightening his hold on her and the other, he worked on continuing to drag the girls down, hopefully preventing them from trying to fly away. A growl escaped him, enjoying the struggle these two girls were putting up. It made it just so much more enjoyable. But she as he was about to redouble his efforts, he heard Demios' voice in his head and saw Tempest being killed and absorbed completely by the nightmare lord. As much as Anindya loved to cause fear and see it in others, that image sent a chill down his spine and caused his hackles to raise. That was... an absolutely horrible way to go. Eaten by that beast of a nightmare.

The distraction of the Dullahan's arrival caused his grip on the two girl's to loosen slightly, but nonetheless, his body trembled in excitement as the strange language echoed through the meadow and caused the sky to grow dark, the cold negative energies to rise and all manner of nightmare beasts to make their presence known. It was so very delicious and he had to hold himself back from joining in and allow the narcissistic prince of darkness to have his time in the spot light. If it was what it took to make the Lord feel important then so be it. When his hold on the two heroes was forcibly ripped, he turned his eyes on the timeless being of nightmares, understanding the warning and bowing slightly, playing the part of an apologetic servant.

Once he'd received his new order, he shifted forms and walked out into the open, revelling in the dark energies that surrounded him, wrapping him in a cool caress. The meadow was destroyed but he didn't really care much about that and easily made his way over as if walking on a level surface. Arebes had done a great job improving the place. While he would like to chase after the Dream Catchers and Heroes who were making their escape, it appeared as though the dark lord had other plans, planes Hydra would hear out for now. Even if it seemed like a waste of time to toy with them like this. "Arebes... My Lord...." he said by way of greeting, and then fell silent, waiting for Demios to speak.

    LAWRENCE * ANTHONY * TYLER

    ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Lawrence frowned as the nightmare he'd been trying to eliminate erected a wall of electricity in front of himself, meaning only one of his bullets, grand total, managed to get through (and one of the worse aimed, he'd noted), while the rest melted and splattered on him like so much silvery, molten metal. Even so, what was this thing? That should still have been coming at him at unthinkable speed, and now it was molten besides; the fact that he showed absolutely no pain whatsoever either meant this thing had an unholy pain tolerance, less favorable a thought, that it really didn't hurt him. And right now, it was apparent that he didn't know high explosives enough to make them on the fly, at least not without (some) practice... and the one type he might have been able this quickly would have been too powerful for him to use at this range without killing the lot of them, even if he did have some way to deploy it. If that flyer couldn't get them out of here, they could be in trouble. And thankfully, she did seem to have that power, as she nodded to them...

Only to have that scheme, and about everything else in the area dashed all at once. Just as they were finally about to leave, the same shadows that had gone for the plush doll earlier made another appearance, grabbing the flyer and one of the other girls at the same time, dragging them down to earth and presumably preventing their extraction and escape. He supposed he could have tossed a lantern or flare something at them to see if that worked -- the fire was swiftly becoming more dangerous, even as it had done its job and flushed the majority of the people sniping at them out of hiding, and this delay was unacceptable -- but between the light of the flames in the distance and the smokescreen that the new arrival, telling them to retreat with her into the bleeding flames in the direction of their attackers and the black castle, the effectiveness would have been questionable anyway. And indeed, he soon found it didn't matter.

Lawrence had seen a lot of horrors in this time, and the trick with the darkening sky was... worrying, but not panic-inducing. But what came next froze his heart. In the war he'd been in before, all that was at stake was the body -- people weren't even sure if there was such thing as a soul in some cases, and if there was the Reich didn't have a claim on them, only their creator and their deeds. But in swift succession, it became clear not only that there was such a thing as a soul, but that this thing, this mountain of metal and darkness incarnate, was more than capable of claiming them for his own. Lawrence looked on in horror at the scene before him, at the scream that filled the air from boy who had sought to calm him just moments before, and suddenly knew that right now, he needed to be anywhere but near that thing. ...and thankfully, while it hardly seemed like it was going to be a nice little creature of death and darkness, it did seem to have a greater agenda, or at least wanted to play with its prey. In quick succession, the creature took down every obstacle that had been erected in the field -- the flames of his doing, the thorns on the ground, the lightning banished to the sky, all of it. And then, he told them to go with the winged-one... who, the demon that had just tried to kill them all with lightning and death and had a bad habit of leading things to attack them? Noooo, nonononono. He wasn't going anywhere with that creature.

And so, as the light began to fall, he made a quick mental list of where things were, where people were. Nearest to him was the boy gunman in the costume, Harold; when things fell, he swiftly realized he wouldn't be able to get to everyone to keep them together, but he was close enough to try. In addition, he'd noted where his flames were, and made a rapid mental decision to run along the other side of the forest, away from the majority of their attackers and the all-too-suspicious smoke user. As for the girls and Boxers... he hated to leave those with him behind, but right now there was nothing he could do for them. Maybe, if he could figure out his power, he could do something to reunite them, but not now.

Therefore, once they where finally put back on the ground, using what memory he had of the place covered in night he ran to the boy and grabbed at what he was seriously hoping was his good arm. "Come on; I don't think we're getting another chance at this! We need to go!" And so, dragging him along behind if the boy could not keep up, the marksman ran, really ran for the first time in far too long, and in entirely the wrong circumstances. He kept to the meadow for the first bit, pulling a hard left and skirting the edge of the forest, unknowingly moving away from Zoey, whom he could never have seen, weather any of the others heard and followed or not. Then he ducked into the trees, taking their cover but continuing to move in the same direction, always making sure the meadow was in sight.

He had a plan for that place, or at least something he knew, almost instinctually, that he had to try. But for now, they just needed to get away from their attackers and get out of sight.

tab he odds had taken a strange turn that neither side could read as a clear advantage; Aster had only reaffirmed his sight on the two guards, preparing his sword to block the drawn spears when a wall of seemingly impenetrable black blinked into view. The sudden hindrance startled him a step back, weapon poised at the new ‘threat’. Whilst the dream catcher missed the sly grin directed his way, he felt another’s attention on him, and tensed as a result. An offhand remark slipped into the abrupt stillness, overall patronizing to Aster’s ears. He moved his blade in the direction of the teasing voice, only to fall an inch short from the offending nightmare currently propped against the wall.

It disturbed him how nonchalantly the she-devil handled him, juggling the significance of his presence on a ball of dark matter between her two dainty hands. Her disimpassioned display stirred both his irritation and fear; the latter of which rekindled a foreboding worry in the back of his mind. Slowly but surely, it would overshadow the other.
Could she have possibly seen him as … as one of them? The notion struck him harder than he’d anticipated, weakening the resolve prior to their encounter; the willpower that anchored his precarious stand on the border between stability … and utter insanity. She challenged him not with her words, but the very actions she took to prove she did not fear what she herself provoked!

Aster did his best to restrain the thought before it crippled him completely, deciding it would serve him far better to take offense to her commentary instead. Although it poked at his caution, he could easily shrug it off with a little self-assertion. He raised his head, staring the pink-haired wench down through a narrowed red eye. “Whichever the case, I have every intention of taking back what is rightfully mi—the Dream Catchers’,” he answered resolutely, just catching himself at the end of the small declaration. He hoped his tone made it clear that he meant to shoulder this responsibility on his own; as well as strike a sense of urgency into her lax form. “You horned heathen.” He added without a care for the protrusions adorning the sides of his own head.

A smirk lightened his cool expression as the need to deter her played into mind. “I am sure that pile of tin you call your "master" will reward you for this idle play.” He mused sarcastically, gesturing to the dark orb occupying the palms of her hands. His body had subconsciously moved to corner her against the wall where she stood, planting the flat of his metal claw into the rocky exterior.

The resounding slam that followed alerted the dormant guards back into action. Real or not, they charged through the wall and into the pair’s direction, spears at the ready. Their advancing presence snapped Aster out of his affront; and, thinking fast, the hand once settled on the wall seized the female by the arm, pushing her into the Knightmares' line of fire. He promptly doubled back for more time to recuperate, widening the distance between them as he did so. However, the creatures were just as fast, eating away the stretch of space with each massive footstep. Sooner than he expected, a spear pierced his abdomen, digging deep into his body. Although he was quick to wrench himself free before they could shred his insides, he was not spared the paralytic poison that had managed to enter his system. He could already feel the toxin numbing his muscles...

He focused his remaining strength on lifting his sword arm, blocking the relentless lunges with defensive slashes. The repeated clashing upon collision assaulted his ears to a deafening degree, but did not seem to hinder the Knightmares one bit. When the jabs came too close, Aster was reduced to a series of lurches and sidesteps just a hair's breadth from his vital regions. Dammit…! he cursed under his breath. He could not continue on like this; if the paralysis did not stop him, the guards themselves would!

There was only one sure way to guarantee his survival in this ordeal … and with each threatening thrust that came his way, Aster knew it was time to abandon his doubts. Taking a sharp breath, the dream catcher conjured a ring of fire around them, willing for the divine attribute that would see him the rest of the way through their demonic forces. Alas, it continued to negate his attempts and pressed against his will with agonizing rebounds. It was like trying to push polar magnets together. Aster bit back the pained gasps that threatened to slip from his lips, forcing out the element at last by utilizing his physical reserves. By then the guards were bypassing the elemental barrier, the flames curling under their plated boots—until finally the fire took on an ethereal white intensity, burning divine light into their hollow bodies. Their anguished cries came as a relieving tune.

Aster sunk to his knees, drained of the stamina he had sacrificed just to gain the holy essence. It was becoming more and more of a challenge nowadays with the ailing progression of his corruption. Before long, he would be unable to call upon the Providence he had defended so long ago... He found himself edging away from the light of the blessed flames, taking caution of the scorched bodies still convulsing within. Or so he believed. Aster forced himself up and started toward the cell once more, shaking off the despair and loathing that had collected at the fact. There was no use pondering on the inevitable.

The nineteen year old could feel beads of sweat rolling down from his forehead to his eyelids. It was an uncomfortable atmosphere when the man had questioned him of his interference between him and the Dream Catcher behind him. Tch! You really think I'll move out of the way so you can hurt a woman? I don't think so buddy. If you pl an to take her, you'll have to go thr--!! before he could speak, someone had tackled him to the ground. His face met with the grass below, he tried to retort but the person was scolding him. He opens one of his eyes, finding that it was the woman he was protecting. As she continuously punched his chest, the male could only let her vent out how she was feeling. Despite his hatred towards those who are willing to sacrifice themselves so willingly. It was one of his pet peeves, yet he doesn't even follow his own ideals. He placed a hand on the self-shamed woman's head, I'm sorry for worrying you, ma'am. I'll be more careful next time. he speaks reassuringly before he had felt the earth begin to shake.

His eyes widened as she began to scold him about his current appearance. What was he supposed to do?! It wasn't raining attires for him to just grab and dress himself after all. He could only apologize to the woman, not being able to help what was happening currently, If I may speak, I do apologize for my current attire. But right now, I'm more concern for our group of people. he speaks honestly, looking upon those who were distracted in the battle. Suddenly, he saw a sharp projectile heading in the direction towards Arebes. His eyes seemed be blank in fear, but when he heard the Dream Catcher greet another, his attention turned towards the other one. Another female--such long, silver hair... She was absolutely radiant. He shook his head, almost slapping himself. There is no time to be staring! God, you must look like an idiot, dumbass. Isaac composed himself and as he was about to speak, it all happened in such a fast motion. The ground began to shake violently. The burgundy haired male looked around the area, finding everyone begin to brace themselves. He's about to reach for Die and the other Dream Catcher dubbed, Argenta, so if there were any odds, at least the two would survive. Before he was in grasp of them, they began to float in the air.

Isaac searches for the source, seeing that another girl was levitating the group off the ground. He gives her a toothed grin, looking down at the ground. Although she was capable of bringing them off the shaking earth, what were they to do if that guy starts to shoot his lightning at them? He was ready for anything. He still didn't have the hang of this portal stuff, but if he could help, even if it has a little significance, he's willing to do so. He readies himself, holding his sword up in a defensive manner. Suddenly, he feels a portal open above him. He blinks in curiousity, but is suddenly swallowed by the dark pool. He doesn't notice that his attire has changed since his eyes were shut tight and cheeks were puffed because he was holding his breathe. He examines himself, not in fear, but more in amusement. He was wearing actual clothes now! Hell yes! He wore a rough turtle neck shirt which at the center of the bottom hems, the shirt seemed to make an upside-down V. His navy pants were tucked into his high calf boots and on both thighs, bandages were wrapped around as if it were styled in such a way. If it weren't for the belt he wore, the man would once again be in his trousers. His forearms were covered in steel, and were tied by a firm red string. To finish it, he wore a cape with a hood--why? Who cares, he looked pretty damn awesome in it.

He readied himself once more, smirking. Yet his moment had ended when the guy who is apparently dressed like his grandfather when he was young. 40s maybe? When the man threw down the explosives, Isaac only stared in fascination, Nice one, old man! he speaks impulsively, not even caring how the other guy was staring at him--The guy was pretty freaking awesome! It's as if he came out of an action movie or something! It was in the exact same moment that he heard a sudden roar that rung his eardrums. He quickly covers them with his hands, grunting at the horrendous echo. He only listens to what the voice had to say and blinks when it trails off. The winged one... Tch! Does that guy really expect us to follow someone who tried to kill us? he questions, feeling more frustrated in the situation. Then a girl's plead for help had occurred during the "pep talk" of weirdo voodoo man. His eyes wandered to where the voice originated, seeing it was one of the girl's who giggled at him when he was bare. His eye then caught another shadow catch the girl who was keeping them levitated from the shaking ground. Isaac was trying to float his way towards them, but then had seen one of them fall from the ground. It was Zoey! He hurried to her direction before the levitation effect wore off.

Isaac landed on the ground not very gracefully. He planned to find his footing, but ended up going forward and kiss the ground again. He grunts as he rubs his own face, Jeez, where am I now? I can't be too far from her. he looks around, finding that he was all alone now. He held his sword firmly in his grasp and began to walk in the direction he believed he saw her fall before they got separated. Suddenly a flash of pink hair before his eyes, Isaac extends his arm, catching hold of her. His eyes adjusted to find Zoey there in front of him, Zoe! Er. I shouldn't call you 'Zoe' huh? Since we barely met. Er, wow this is weird. Wait not you, I just mean me being weird? Nevermind. We should probably get going. I don't know exactly where the Palace that woman had pointed to, but I think we should keep going north. he turns to the direction he believed that he caught a glimpse of the radiant illumination of the Dream Catcher's Palace. North. It would not be easy now for the duo since they were separated from the rest of the group. Just maybe, if they work together, the two can make it out of this gloomy place alive without any interruptions. Where are my manners. I'm Isaac. I don't know if my last name is needed but its Peters. Er.. You can call me Pete or something, whatever floats your boat really. he rambles on, scratching the back of his head. Sure he chatted with a few girls, but he was always in a group with his friends, this was just nerve-wracking for the male. Hopefully, someone else from the group will pop up.

As the shadows pulled her to the ground, suddenly a strange darkness came over the meadow. Eleisha looked up to see the sun had been blocked, but something about the weird eclipse seemed very unnatural to her. Then again, she was less worried about the darkness and more concerned about the shadows attempting to drag her to the ground and possibly kill her. However, shortly after the darkness arrived, the smokescreen had dispersed and Eleisha watched in terror with what happened next. A figure rose below the strange shapeshifting creature who had actually turned to a more humanoid appearance. As the figure rose, the dream catcher became impaled by a spike and the scream sent shivers down Eleisha's spine. The being that rose from the shadows was menacing and looked like a large, living piece of armor. It was easy for her to guess that he was the "bad guy" in this strange dream world.

The scary creature let out a terrifying roar, which caused Eleisha to shut her eyes, her whole body shaking for a moment. She was finding it very hard to stay positive at the moment, pretty sure she was about to die by the hands of this...thing. However at the same time of the roar, the shadows grabbing her and the other girl had dispersed, leaving Eleisha just inches from the ground, her wings flapping to keep her slightly afloat. The creature let out a terrifying laugh before addressing her and the others she had woken up with. He mentioned a "winged one," however there were two among them with wings and had no idea who he was talking about. Plus she wasn't about to follow anyone that creature told her to go with. She looked around and saw that the pink-haired girl, Zoey, had gone running towards the forest on her own. The boy in the boxers had soon followed after her. The other two males seemed to go off in their own direction. That left her and Isleen, the one who made them all float earlier. Looking lost for a moment, Eleisha decided it would be best to fly into the forest. Perhaps try to catch up with one of the two groups who just ran into there.

Just as she was about to fly off, she noticed Isleen still standing there. She nudged the girl. "Why are you just standing there? We need to run!" She tried to give her a light push to the forest before her wings suddenly seeemed to have a mind of their own and caused her to take off into the forest, leaving Isleen behind to go whichever direction she chose. Eleisha's eyes were wide as she had no control of where she was going. She wasn't used to these strange wings, and it seemed they were urging her into the forest. She hadn't even realized what direction she was going until after a short while she saw two figures up ahead. One was Zoey and the other the boy in the boxers. As she neared them, she realized she wasn't going to be able to stop. Instead she appeared to be heading straight towards Zoey. "Incoming! I can't control my wings!" Unfortunately she was going so fast, she did not give the girl enough warning as Eleisha came crashing into her, then rolling into a nearby tree. Eleisha groaned and sat up, rubbing her head. Looking to Zoey, she frowned. "I'm sooo sorry! You're not hurt are you?"

Zoey stopped for a moment, looking around. She was trying to figure out where she was, quietly. While she wanted to find the others, at the same time she was concerned that instead of finding the others she'd run into one of those beasts, or worse a Nightmare. She moved quickly, without knowing that she was in fact on the Nightmare side of the forest. Suddenly she heard a branch break and in a moment of fear she started to run, only to get grabbed by someone. Jumping, struggling not to scream, she turned quickly to see who it was who grabbed her. Sighing with relief at seeing a familiar face she relaxed and smiled.

It took a moment to realize that he was in fact the same guy she'd had seen earlier. Where did he find clothes? She wondered curiously as he struggled to get what he was trying to say out. She giggled a bit, noting he seemed to be nervous. "You can call me Zoe if you'd like." She smiled at him, looking at his weapon for a moment before remembering the Dream Catcher getting killed. Her smile faded as she realized that they needed to get to the Dream Palace and soon. However she couldn't help but smile once more as she watched him once again nervously try to get his sentence out. "There's no need to be nervous around me Pete, just be yourself." She smiled as she lightly tapped the back of her hand to his shoulder, trying to show that she wasn't going to bite. While asking someone to not be nervous was easier said then done, especially after everything that's happened, she still wanted him to try and relax around her.

She relaxed quite a bit, happy that she was no longer alone and was with someone from the group. "Did you happen to see any of the others?" She asked curiously, worried as to if they had made it out alive or not. Right now the only person she knew was safe was Isaac, and if they didn't start moving they may no longer be safe. However before they could even head out Zoey heard someone yelling "Incoming," but she couldn't do anything or even move before she was tackled by one of the others and sent flying to the ground. Laying there a moment she glanced to see Eleisha before she smiled and started laughing. She was glad that yet another from there group was okay.

Still laughing she sat up. "I'm fine, are you okay?" She asked as she got to her feet before making her way towards Eleisha and helping her up. She looked at the girls wings curiously for a moment, finally getting her laughter under control. It seemed as though everyone had some kind of new found abilities now after entering this dream world, and she was a bit relieved that she wasn't the only one who didn't seem to have full control over their new found power. "Okay, we should get moving. It isn't wise to remain standing in one place for to long." She said before turning to Isaac. "North huh?" She said, looking around trying to figure out which way north was. She would ask Eleisha to maybe fly up and see if she could get a glimpse of the Palace, but was worried something might happen like her losing control of her wings and flying off somewhere else. It might be better for them to just quietly stick to the ground, not knowing what was lurking in the sky. Remembering the Nightmare guy with the wings.

"Okay, lets go." Zoey said with a smile and started heading in the direction she thought was north, though wasn't entirely sure given she didn't have a compass and this was an entire new world they were in. She still tried to look around as she moved, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Dream Palace. She wondered if the others were okay. Maybe they would run into someone else while they moved. She was just relieved that she was no longer alone and had two people she knew she could trust with her. Hopefully it would remain that way and they didn't run into anyone dangerous, like one of those people trying to kill them.

While she was thinking this she heard the snap of a branch and quickly glanced in the direction she heard the sound came from, but saw nothing. She didn't know how deep they were in the forest, but it had to be far into the forest. Sure she was more relaxed now that she had others with her, but she was still on edge. It didn't help that she wasn't entirely sure what was in this forest, well aside from the beasts. Why is this even happening? She still couldn't grasp why they were brought here to being with. One minute she was having continuous dreams about a strange girl and the next she was standing in a meadow surrounded by people she didn't know. Then suddenly all hell broke lose and now she was wandering the woods with two others. Turning towards the others as they walked she wondered something. "Hey, before you guys were brought to this strange world did you happen to have recurring dreams of a girl?" She asked, wondering if the girl was somehow connected to all of this or maybe it was just her.

Harold watched as the shape shifter was impaled by the dark armor's shield. He watched as the very soul was ripped from the boy, and he watched as the large demonic metal both saved and threatened the humans. He threatened that they could die if they stuck around, and he basically ordered them to follow a "winged one," which he assumed would be the female in the air, as she was trying to get the visitors to retreat in the first place. He wasn't sure what to do here. On the one hand, there was a possible, and likely horribly painful death at the hands of this new being. On the other hand, there was retreat into unknown territory, which held creatures such as those large beast creatures that went on the offensive almost immediately upon seeing things to kill. He figured it would probably be best to run, no matter the case, but the decision was soon made for him. Before he could really react, the man in the aviator clothes was pulling his good arm, essentially dragging him to safety. Harold was only just barely able to stuff his candy jar into his pocket and grab his gun before they were off.

Eventually Harold was able to simply run alongside the gunman. His mind was filled with questions, too many to deal with right now, so much of them were held aside for later pondering. For now it seemed the two were hiding in the forest, as well as making their way towards the distant palace. However, upon realizing this, Harold stopped, and pulled on the other man to stop him as well. "Wait, I don't think we should be going near there. Not just yet anyways." Harold had to stop and catch his breath a moment. He was fit, and active, but the pain in his arm was tiring. He stopped to compose his thoughts a moment before speaking again. "I, I don't like it. We get pulled into some strange new world, by some unknown force, and immediately upon arrival some people show up to "help" us? I don't buy it. They knew we'd be coming, and got to where we were as if they planed it. What if... What if that place is a trap? They told us to go there immediately upon arrival, how can we trust them?" Harold had to stop for a moment again, this time regaining his composure enough to stand upright. Looking up to the sky he added: "And what of the sudden eclipse? And the arrival of that armor? What if it's part of the plan? I mean, it got us all to panic, and now, we've all been separated. What if they just wanna pick us off? I mean, that thing could come out of the shadows, and now there is darkness everywhere!! We're like sitting ducks, even on the move!" It was getting obvious, Harold was scared right now. He'd never seen a real murder before. In addition that armor took the soul out of the guy! What were they doing here? What were they dealing with? Harold was injured, and if they came under attack there was little he could do to be of help at this moment. It was like playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent: Monsters everywhere, all ready to kill you, and you can't even fight back. Harold was scared.

Location: Ivory Tower - Dream Walker Castle -> Nightmare Castle l Company: Thanatos -> Alone l Mood: Saddened -> Determined l Outrageously Ordered Chaos: Excuse the outrageous longness of my post, my intro posts are always this long ._. FIXED IT BY THE WAY

The light sound of armored boots echoing in the empty halls of the Dream Walker's castle seemed to be a lot louder than intended. High above the the ground, in a lone Ivory Tower paced back and forth a woman of great beauty. Her hair was the color of a burning inferno in the sun that shone in the sky, her piercing eyes glistening like emeralds. Her creamy skin was flawless, her body barely covered by the light armor she wore. A blueish white camisole trimmed with gold and red, a white sash tied to her armored skirt, leggings the color of her armor and knee high armored boots. At her side rested a long sword studded with a beautiful green jewel that radiated with power. The only flaw in the titanium haired beauty was the expression of worry that tainted her otherwise perfect features.

"I can't believe Aster would just....wander off like that! And alone! What if he gets poisoned by the Nightmare King again? I will have failed Jereah for the second time!" The worry flowed from her voice, her words directed to the obsidian Dragon resting at the edge of the Tower. He seemed impatient as well, his tail scraping against the ground as it flicked back and forth. "He is a fool, Valentina. And I will not let you risk your life by wandering into that castle alone and saving his sorry a**. I understand his worry to save Eliniel, but we must have a plan, we must have reinforcements to save her. Not take on a stupid, selfish quest to try and prove he's better than us!" The Dragon snarled. Valentina stopped to stare at Thanatos, partner of her mind and heart. "How can you say that? Aster is not acting upon his interests, you know that. If you were not so focused on your hate-"

"DO NOT STAND UP FOR HIM!" A loud, furious roar tore from Thanatos as he turned to Valentina, anger burning in his deep, crimson eyes. Valentina flinched, shrinking away from the ferocious beast. Thanatos huffed, turning back to the view of the Meadow. "We must follow Eliniel's wishes and escort the Heroes back to the castle before the Nightmare King kills them and her plan fails. We cannot spare ourselves in some pointless rescue mission." The female sighed and shook her head. "You are wrong, Thanatos. Aster is not a pointless rescue mission. I- no, we- made a promise to Jereah to keep him safe and made a promise to each other that we would keep the corruption from poisoning his heart in order to prevent something like the Scorching from ever happening again. The other Dream Catchers have gone after the Heroes, but we cannot forsake one of our own. Please, Thanatos....I cannot do this without you..."

The Dragon did not turn to look at Valentina, which forced a light sigh out of her. "So be it..." The knight walked past Thanatos, and down the winding staircase that took her out of the Tower and through the castle of the Dream Walker. The destruction left by the Nightmares was still visible, something that made Valentina frown as she walked past torn walls, shattered pillars and burnt tapestries. Her legs felt heavier to walk on as she thought about Thanatos. He had always been a stubborn Dragon, especially when it came to Asteroth. The two didn't exactly get along. But neither, did she believe, was that any reason to abandon him to the clutches of the Nightmare King. If she had to rescue him alone, she would!

When she made it out of the castle, her green eyes lit up as she saw Thanatos crouched on the ground, the black saddle strapped to his back. "I am still against doing this," he told Valentina when she hugged his neck with a smile. "Thank you, Thanatos. Let us go, time is of essence." The knight gracefully climbed onto the Dragon, strapping her legs to the saddle and unsheathing her sword. Thanatos unfurled his wings, ran for a few feet and beat his wings, lifting both knight and Dragon into the sky. They soared high over the Meadow, where their keen eyesight spotted the Heroes and Dream Catchers, along with a pair of Nightmares. "We must hurry, they will need our help."

As the pair arrived at the Nightmare King's castle, the sun was suddenly blotted out, sinking the land into a haunting darkness. Valentina bit her lip, and whispered words of magic that wove the reality around her and summoned a glow that wrapped around her sword. Thanatos descended in the courtyard, crimson eyes scanning his surrounding. So far, no enemies in sight. Valentina unstrapped herself and jumped down from the saddle. She closed her eyes, opening her mind to her surroudings and scanning the area. She lightly grazed the minds of lesser Nightmares, strange creatures and found her way to a light, glowing mind deep in the dungeons. In the same place, a single mind dancing with darkness and light made her shudder slightly. "Eliniel...Aster..." Thanatos nodded towards her. "Go. I shall wait here. Those damn halls are too small for me anyway...." the Dragon told her. Valentina nodded and sighed softly as she extended her mind as far as she could through the castle. Her search gave fruit to the location of several Knightmares, various strange creatures....but nothing from Aster nor Eliniel. A frown of dissapointment came upon her features. Thanatos walked to her side, lightly nudging her towards the gates into the castle.

"Go, you shall find them. Should things get complicated, call for me, I shall be waiting."

Valentina rested her forehead against the Dragon's, closing her eyes for a few seconds before taking a step back and running into the castle, her mind open as she searched for her friends.

                                  LUNA ARIEL LESIN !!

                                  ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Luna sat smiling in a tree deep in the forest, alone. She was swinging her feet back and forth while she painted away. Her magic paintbrush using the air as a canvas to paint on. She was humming away when she noticed a huge light coming from the meadow, the same light that had dropped off the humans. Stopping for a moment she stared off towards the direction of where the light had just been. Blinking she smiled happily. "I'm nearly done." She said, turning her attention back towards her painting and ignoring the fact that the heroes had just arrived.

To her, art was everything, and everything else wasn't important. Over the years Luna had become a top notch artist, her works so real that they were sometimes mistaken as real. Though it didn't help that he works of art, once finished, came to life. Doting her brush she smiled as she finished. "All done." She said, putting her paintbrush in her pocket as she watched the painting. The painting lit up and began to move on its own. Then in a quick flash of light there was no painting but instead three living beings standing before her. She giggled as she looked up at them. The creatures looked at her, their fangs dripping with drool. Then they screamed, a very eerily familiar scream. Luna began laughing hysterically as she watched the beasts she had just created.

The beasts were hungry and itching to kill. Luna stopped laughing and tilted her head to look at them, before giving them their orders. "Go crazy." Was all she said and the beasts began screaming and separated into the forest, never to be seen again. Luna hummed away as she finally returned her attention back towards the direction of the heroes. While she could not see them she knew they were there. However it seemed that exciting things were happening in the meadow. Jumping up to her feet she stood on the branch and tried to get a better look. "This looks exciting!" She said happily as she saw bolts of lightning being shot up into the sky. However the lightning didn't last long before the sky above the meadow darkened. Luna's smile grew bigger and she began jumping up and down happily. "This is gonna be so much fun!" The thin branch beneath her broke under her excitement and constant jumping. However Luna didn't fall but instead floated in the air, still excited, and oblivious to the fact that the branch had just broke. Deimos appeared to be in the meadow, which caused Luna to laugh with joy.

Flying through the sky she made her way to the meadow, diving into the trees when she got close, going invisible as soon as she got passed the tree line. It was then that she watched two humans run passed her. "Hmm.... there's something I should be doing, but what was it again?" She wondered, floating off the ground while she thought, still invisible to all those around her. "Oh... I remember!" She spoke as she excitedly followed the two males. Reaching them with ease, though it helped that they stopped.

Still invisible she stood behind the one talking, questioning going to the Dream Palace. She listened to his worries closely before it hit her. "You're right!" She yelled, suddenly becoming visible right behind the human male that had stopped and talked about this all being some sort of trap. "Very suspicious indeed." She said, walking back and forth as she contemplated everything that the male had just said. "What if this is all a trap? What if the Dream Palace isn't in fact a safe place?! What if those people that showed up weren't really there to help us, but instead trick us into going to the Dream Palace so they could capture us. It doesn't matter now since were all sitting ducks thanks to Deimos! Oh my god, what are we gonna do?! She yelled as she freaked out, not even realizing that they had no idea who she was and that they had weapons that could easily be aimed at her.

Suddenly she stopped, looking as though she was just hit with an idea. "I have an idea! How about we just stay here and die! Oh wait, maybe we can go back to the meadow and die there since were sitting ducks already no matter what we do!" She said, smiling at them both as though her idea was the best idea in the world. "Oh, where are my manners. I'm the Dream Catcher Luna, nice to meet you both. Though now that I think about it if you're right I might be the enemy trying to help you." She said, before once again freaking out. "Oh my god! I shouldn't be trusted! What to do, what to do?" She said, walking back and forth as she thought up a solution to this whole problem. Luna just stopped and stood up straight before looking at them both, smiling as though nothing was wrong. "Lets get going to the Dream Palace now. No time to just stand around, we're sitting ducks after all." She said, winking at both the guys before laughing hysterically.

However her eyes caught the sight of some flowers and she ran off in that direction instead. "Pretty." She smiled happily as she began to pick the flowers, seeming to completely forget about the two human males with her.

    LAWRENCE * ANTHONY * TYLER

    ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Lawrence hadn't made it half as far as he wanted to into the forest -- which was still some ways and well out of earshot of the group in the meadow -- when his companion tugged on his arm bringing him to a halt. From the moment he saw his face, he recognized what was going on. The look on that face was one he'd seen a thousand times, a young lad seeing death for the first time, a person cut down in front of him amplified and made ten times worse by the fact that he was in an unknown world with strange powers, and were currently under assault by an overpowering, totally unknown enemy within the first few minutes after their arrival. Still, the lad had... something of a point, one he'd considered himself, though he didn't agree with his assessment. Couldn't exactly blame him for not thinking clearly -- he was probably just as confused himself, but he'd been in situations like this before and had to learn to think on his feet.

Before he could answer, though, another being voiced the most prominent issue with his objection, albeit more sarcastically and, he had to admit, humorously than he'd originally planned. Lawrence blinked in surprise at her sudden appearance, and couldn't help but chuckle at the way this-far-too-wise and seemingly slightly mad girl had put their ordeal, masterfully turning Harold's own argument back on him there at the end. "Well. We do seem to be quite the center of attention, don't we. Name's Lawrence, Lawrence Tyler." Lawrence smiled then, as reassuring as he could make it, and laid a hand on Harold's shoulder. "Haven't seen war before, I take it? Can't say as I blame you; I'm bloody terrified; you just get better at controlling it or you go mad. And I happen to agree on more than a few points. We don't know what's going on here in the least, or where here is. Certainly not enough to decide what to do yet long term. But."

The pilot stepped away then, looking around until he found a rather large clearing some way deeper in the forest and started towards it. Yes.... yes, it'd be tight, but it should be large enough. "But you start to see enough of these, you recognize a battle when you see one, and if there's a stage going on here the living armor back there was more than willing to kill his own to put it on. But right now, the side coming from the dark tower was trying to kill us in massive numbers, whereas save that lightning-using terror everything from this side was trying to keep us alive. I'm not saying we join them, but we can't stay here, and if we want answers, I'd prefer to go for the side that wasn't out for our blood. Of course," he added, casting a sly look at the surprise guest in their little meeting, "if our escort here has any insights on why exactly we were brought here, and where he is, it might be helpful."

Now. About us being sitting ducks. Let's see if this power works the way I think it does... Lawrence walked forward at that point, to the very edge of the clearing, and held out two hands. "Near as I can tell, this world is related to dreams somehow, even if it isn't one. I'm a lucid dreamer, and if that battle is an indicator I can make things from my memories real here. But... not always. There's apparently a limit or two to it that I haven't figured out yet. That grenade launcher stunt I tried to pull just kinda clicked and didn't do anything, but more basic weapons worked fine. Now, I figure that could be just it being too complicated...but I also wasn't over familiar with how that worked, outside of handling one for a few hours. So... let's see if I can't make something a bit more familiar that can help us escape, shall we?"

The object of his choosing was, well, large, and after the last incident he was going to have to be careful to make sure he got this right so it didn't backfire on him and fall apart in mid-use. Indeed, he immersed himself in his memory for this. The thing he wanted, he knew like the back of his hand. Every bolt, every gauge, every piston, he knew exactly what it was and how it worked, and he ran through every bit of it in his mind, recalling an age gone by. He recalled the smells, the feeling of it all, the adrenaline and the near misses, the near-deaths and the glories, everything he'd ever experienced associated with a machine that was, for many years, at the heart of his identity. And slowly the space in front of him began to warp and change, began to take shape. And this time, it was noticeable, at least to anyone as close as his companion and the newcomer, the distortion a good thirty feet wide and longer still, and a fair bit taller than he was. And unlike in his dreams, doing this was tiring, the sheer effort needed to exert his will on this much space causing him to start to breath heavier and sweat to trickle down his forehead. But it did seem to be working, and the area in front of his eyes slowly, surely began to take form. At the very least, you could already make out the wings.

And he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

    Uriel Etana

    ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Contact between the walker and Uriel was, as a rule, irregular. Eliniel had made a point of letting him know that she forgave him for what he had done long ago; he let her know that while he appreciated that, he saw no need to be forgiven, and while they were very much on the same side, neither totally trusted the other. She, for reasons he did not care to speculate, though he suspected his past acts might have had something to do with it, he simply because he had seen so many walkers live and die in his time, had so many lifetimes of experience that he didn’t implicitly trust any of them anymore, at least not the point where he would take orders from them directly anymore. As a result, Uriel routinely operated far beyond either the Nightmare or Catcher palaces, dealing with cases of the worst nightmare torment in the paranoid and those who had seen too much death, or flushing out smaller operations and purging them should they go too far when Deimos himself was not on the move. As a rule this worked out well for both groups involved, keeping him out of the perhaps overzealous day-to-day catcher operations and letting him deal with the cases he saw fit largely without interference. Of late, however, it meant that he had only heard of Eliniel’s capture roughly a day ago, and despite his speed was only now arriving near the two palaces again.

There was a certain irony to this place, he mused. A meadow that slowly drove anyone who would not pick a side mad… it certainly had not been there in his time, and he supposed it spoke to the nature of the human spirit that such a place was forced to be, that a coexistance was not allowed to exist between the two sides, the balance rather taking on the form of constant warring between human fear and peace and happiness. As the embodiment of the will to survive, he had to respect both, and while he was more closely allied with the catchers, he had to grudgingly admit that there was reason for the existence of the nightmares. Even so, the simple truth was that Deimos had been getting aggressive again of late, corrupting some rather powerful manifestations such as the embodiment of the Crusades; nothing new, but the successful binding of the walker, that was a problem. And all of that together spelled a potential return to the dark ages. And so, when the dual flashes in the sky appeared above the meadow as he made his final approach, he sighed, hardly surprised, but realizing he needed to hurry; the most recent catcher must have been trying to force the prophecy, and Deimos interfered to deal with it.

Indeed, by the time he got within view, picking up altitude to avoid being easily seen, things were far worse than he had expected. Deimos himself had already made an appearance, and the Catchers were outnumbered – badly. Die and Argenta, if he remembered right, and a third already dead facing down twice that many nightmares, and that not counting the nightmare lord himself. Worse, Deimos had somehow managed to trick three of the six summoned into heading for his side of the forest, effectively ending them if they got too far in, and a fourth was still there in this mess, with only two actually headed for safety.

    Right then.

The first problem was this eclipse; he’d fought Deimos before, and taking him on in darkness, where he could move essentially at will, was suicide. So the first order of business was its removal. Cupping his hands together in front of him, Uriel closed his eyes and began to concentrate, a tiny amount of light escaping from between his tightly-locked fingers after a few moments, then more, until after perhaps ten seconds Uriel undid his grasp, parting his hands and hurtling a ball of light which shown like a miniature sun upon into the sky. The effect was immediate; the area directly below, where the remnants of the battle were taking place, were suddenly cast into noonday sun, the light so omnipresent such as to banish virtually every shadow from the place, and with any luck, keep his old foe from being able to use them to his advantage. Or escape.

For next, using the mini-sun as a cover, the proto-catcher began to dive at full speed, his wings rapidly glowing brighter and brighter as he did so, until about halfway down each of the four unleashed a powerful white beam towards the nightmare lord. Normally, he would have used his light as a sort of smelting laser against his foes, but against Deimos, during a period of higher power, that sort of attack would have been all too likely to be shrugged off. Instead, the archangel was channeling his newer ability, acting as the guardian of the lost ages, and unleashing what was effectively superheated solar plasma right at the nightmare at near light speed. And he didn’t stop firing after a moment, holding the beams on Deimos even after the holy ‘fire’ engulfed him after the initial shot. ”Deimos! Taking the walker, repeatedly trying to corrupt catchers, and now putting on this sort of lightshow? Were you trying to get my attention?!”

The angel finally set himself in the air between the lord of all nightmares and the catchers, keeping the pressure on for a few more moments before finally stopping for fear of draining too much of his power in the first shot; it wasn’t as bad as if he was making a full-blown wall, but this attack was known to vaporize lesser nightmares (and about anything else it hit) outright; this “Ban of Eden” therefore took out a lot out of the archangel, and he needed to make sure he had enough left to end this. ”Die, Argenta. We need to get the human out of here. You’ll also note that 3 of them are headed for the nightmare palace; that could be an issue, unless this attempt at forcing the prophecy is to be stillborn.”
