Be back later :b

Sparkly Genius

I've been watching a lot of movies outside of the action genre. I saw Batman in theatres twice so nothing compares to that at the moment. Mainly 27 dresses and Mulan this morning. xD I'm trying to rebuild my collection of disney movies on DVD.

Sparkly Genius

Just working on the prologue.

In Character Thread has been made. Prologue, the very rough version of it, has been posted.

      Wooo~~

Kanon needs maor sleep. Sleepovers with friends don't allow me to crash enough.
... And I'm getting up early tomorrow to watch the Olympics with my Dad.
      Joy. DD':

Am I the only person with no interest in the Olympics? I've always had more interest in the Paralympics, but this year I have literally no interest. Something to do with where it's held...

I'm sorry you feel that way.
Although people think that holding the Olympics in China is a bad idea, I think that it'll do China some good.
Maybe they'll finally realize what they've been doing wrong.

... Or I could just be biased, seeing as I am Chinese.

I severely doubt it, considering how brain washed the Chinese students were when the torch went through London. All the ones in my Uni seemed to know nothing about the human rights issues, it confused the hell out of me. Then again my dad did tell me that when he goes there on business meetings even the BBC website is blocked.... I never really thought about it until now.

I'm also bitter about Olympics generally, considering we're hosting 2012 and it's costing us a heap of money when our economy is getting worse and worse ><

      Oh, you're in London?

Not all Chinese are like that, I for one, and many of my friends and family members agree that China has some pretty big issues with Human Rights and such.
But then again, it may be because I was raised in such a manner to understand and see the problems on the news everyday, and to be able to actually compare how the different lifestyles are.
But when I visited China a few years ago, you can tell that things have gotten much, much better, since, say my parents' time.
I think China is making progress.

It is making progress admittedly but I don't think some countries should be giving them things that might make them feel like we commend their actions just yet. I'm not so bothered about the US considering Guantamao (sp?), The Death sentence and so on...but the UK? We're like the lapdog of the world I hope old Gordo doesn't go; I heard he wasn't but meh...

Anyway as I said Paralympics always interests me more, I think it's more of a feat for those people considering that now the Olympics are all professionals since the Eddy The Eagle Clause ):

About 40 minutes by train from London; well... it would be if our public transport wasn't so bloody useless.

Although I agree that perhaps it's a little too soon, I'm hoping it'll do some good, because, obviously, there's really no turning back now.

I think it's going to be plagued with idiots to say the least, as you said there's nothing that can be done now so it's fair enough just to let it be. Already some stupid UK protesters have strapped themselves to things.

Seriously, of all the people, don't piss off the Chinese Police!

      You said it. xD
Frick'. Chinese police are so scary. DD:

I remember seeing some TV programme that was generally a guy going about looking for people that you could consider freaks if you wanted to (world's tallest woman and such), I think he was looking for the worlds smallest man and there was a Chinese guy on it. He wanted to become more of a celebrity or something and went out and flew a flag in one in Tienanmen Square because he wanted to open the Olympic Games. A Chinese policeman appeared, it was s**t scary, all the guy was doing was flying a flag Dx

Seriously I've danced around a police officer here wearing his hat and all he couldn't even touch me. Admittedly he wasn't a police officer as such... Community support officer... police-lite...
