Haha, alright. I've narrows it down. We'll see how it goes. I have a few questions about some of the plots. (If you haven't developed the plot as far as these questions go, that's alright. I'm just curious.)
On the "Time to Rise Again" (Dragon Riders plot), are the elves the only ones with magic? Do the other races have magic as well? Can everyone of a certain race use magic or is it a chance thing through birth? And if they do, is it unique to their race? Or can every race do the same things if they just know how? Are there magical artifacts that can produce magical effects in the hands of someone who's "non-magical"? And, what's the "outside" world like in the hands of the Family?
In the "Stay Away From the Darkness" (Futuristic Star Wars similar plot), what role would we have? Would we both be on the same side? Would be both start on opposite sides and one would switch? Are we high-ranked officials, or did we just join the force? And, are there any "Jedi" like powers? Or is it all tech related?
A lot of questions, sorry. It's just that these really piqued my interest so... =P
Time to Rise Again: That honestly depends. I've based this loosely around the Eragon series, though I've had this basic idea for years. I think what I decided was the Ancients can use all forms of magic, and the Elves are able to use most magics. Dwarves use earth-based magics, and goblins' magics were taken away by the Ancients long ago. Humans can learn magic, but their abilities depend on their genetic lines. Those with mixed races in their lineage somewhere are more prone to that other race's powers. Also, humans with witches or warlocks in their bloodline are more capable of learning herb-related magics and often become witches/warlocks themselves. The artifacts you speak of do exist, though not even the elves believe they are real. They do play a story later in the plot if we want.
Stay Away From the Darkness: I don't mind whatever role you want to play. When I did this with someone, I was a Rebel Fighter and he played a League assassin who infiltrated and spied on my character and her command under the guise of a Rebel trainer. If you'd like to see,
here are the two profiles. I had sisters because we were doubling, but my favored character is the warrior. And each species has a different 'ability'. My Syrians were advanced in speed, ferocity, and knowledge, but had no actual powers. Another race I used as a side character was able to read minds. So it honestly depends on what you were thinking or hoping for and how you were thinking of incorporating it.
