Hello and welcome to the thread! Before you go scrolling down further, I urge you to read all of these posts here on the first page. This will make everything much smoother.

First off, this thread is for yaoi fans. That means shonen-ai, yaoi, boy's love, M/M, m//, m slash, or male homosexual relationships in other words. If you don't like it, uhm...why are you here?

So the main reason this thread was created was because, well, finding other yaoi roleplayers can take a while. This thread was created to help yaoi roleplayers find other yaoi roleplayers.

You'll see in the later posts that there are three categories: Seme, Uke, and Seke. On each will be a definition and a link to the usernames of fellow Gaians looking for a yaoi roleplay. The way it will work is if you want a yaoi roleplay, you'll send me a message (specific information on this is below) and I will add your username to the index(es) of your choice. This enables other users to PM you about a yaoi roleplay.

Again, please read through the major posts (basically these first three) on this first page. It will make things a lot easier on everyone. 3nodding

The Rules of This Thread

*This isn't a rule, but feel free to spread the word! The more the merrier!*

1) Abide by Gaia's ToS.

2) NO HATE of any kind.

3) No harassing others in this thread. That means no pestering anyone and no arguing for the sake of getting someone angry. Let's all try to play nice.

4) No cyber talk, no rape, and no vulgar stuff please! Keep it PG-13.

5) If someone isn't interested in an rp with you, find someone who is instead of harassing the one who isn't.

6) Do not advertise here unless you have asked me and I have said okay.

7) Chatting and bumping are encouraged! heart You don't have to join the indexes to lurk, bump, or chat. heart

Form For Getting Added to The Index

In order to get added to the index, you will need to complete this little form and PM it to me. Do not post it here in the thread as I may not see it!

Once you have completed this little form, PM it to me with SQUEE in the subject line. If you don't, I won't add you to the index. Also, should you change your username and still want to be on the index please PM me with CHANGED in the subject title. Then tell me your previous username and the current one. Pretty easy, huh? That's what I'm aiming for! biggrin

NOTE: When you fill this form out and PM it to me, you are giving me permission to put your username on the indicated index which means you are giving consent to other user's to contact you via PM. Please make sure people can PM you!

A Little About the Thread

For those of you who are curious, the originial thread started in June 2009. I was just getting into roleplaying more three years ago. At that time, I noticed that people were posting various threads to get more roleplay partners. This had me thinking...why not start a thread for all those threads to be found at? That way no matter what time you're on, you can still find someone to roleplay with. That gave way to the rough draft of this thread. For any who remember, it was really tiny and all the indexes fit on the first page!

But, it became much more popular than I had expected (it had 53,950 replies). Hence, the individual threads for the indexes. As the thread progressed, it became clear that we needed more defined pages. So, thanks to many of the regulars, we separated out the length of posts to help users find a better fit to their roleplay style. Unfortunately, there have been hiccups here and there, and a very long hiatus. But with the support of all our wonderful lovelies (as I call all who enjoy this thread), I hope that we can get this new (and hopefully improved) thread going and help you roleplayers find each other to create incredible story lines and have a great time! heart
