Hey there! SetsunaSenshi here, but please feel free to call me Setsuna or Set. ^^ I guess I'll start with a quickie introduction, yes? Okay!

[ Tell us about yourself! ]
↳Well, I've been roleplaying for about three years now. Most of it's been on Gaia. I try my best to mimic my partner/group's length, in terms of post length, so I can be anything from semi-lit to aaaalmost adv.lit. Not quite at that end of the spectrum yet, though. But I'm almost there, promise!
↳ In terms of myself as a person, I'm a high school student in that northern country just above the United States called Canada--and no, I do not live in an igloo. :] So, it's Eastern time for me. If you're not in that timezone, sorry if I don't convert the time differences. I'm not that great in math, ha ha. . .


[ Roleplay tastes? ]
↳ First off, I like thread roleplays simply because I like making pretty post layouts. :] But that's not all, it's easier for me to respond since I don't really like to have a cluttered inbox; too much of a hassle to delete.
↳ Well, sorry to the masses of Yaoi/Yuri fans out there. . . Only hetero pairings for me, please. (And just to put it out there, I don't really care if it's a girl playing a guy, or vise versa.) I love anime, manga, and video games, and all that J-nerd stuff we know and love, as you'll see in my request list below. As mentioned above, I can be semi-lit to good lit, but I'm a firm believer in quality over quantity! It doesn't matter if you've got ten beautiful-sized paragraphs if it's all "so he went up 2 hur and wuz liek, 'you hot!'". So, please please PLEASE use grammar to the best of your ability. I know I can slip--I am human--but please try your hardest! I won't hound on you, but it would be nice of you to not make my eyes bleed horribly. . .
↳ Just to be clear, cybering and all that nitty-gritty stuff is a no-no to me, please. I mean, I 'cuss like a sailor and oh c'mon, everyone cracks a dirty joke now and then, but I don't want to hear it once the clothes come off.


[ Pet peeves? Roleplay necessities? ]
↳ Size 12 = Ew. Gross, gross, bleh! OoC or just chatting in size 12 is fine, hell, I do it sometimes. But when roleplaying, please use 10 or 11 sizes!
↳ I've got nothing against using real people pictures for characters, I just prefer anime ones, you know? If you really want to, actual people are totally fine with me~
↳ Try to give your character a liiittle bit of depth, at least. I mean, they don't have to be a big ball of angst and sadness, but I'd like to keep my distance from Mary-sues. No one needs a "perfect" or "god-like" character. . . Where's the originality of the person if they are like that?
↳ I know, there are some slow posters out there. (I'm one of them.) But one or two posts a week is reasonable, yes? I hope so.

Hey, it's your pal XxFuture_AkatsukixX , also known as Kodama of the red mist.

This is one of my best examples, though the RP it was in kind of died a few months ago.
its from the Ex-Nihilo role play in the guild Crimson Eclipse, though I started as Kodama of the Red Mist.

He continued to jump from rooftop to rooftop and then stopped. He saw an abandoned warehouse.
"Jackpot..."
He jumped down, altering his feet to a pair of moon boots so that when he landed on the ground he bounced off of it and ended up unharmed. He landed fully a few moments later and the boots melted back into the shoes he was wearing originally.
"Now, let's see what I'm gonna have tonight..."
He walked inside the building and immediately noticed that something smelled bad. It was like a mixture of an outhouse with old grease. He had no choice but to alter his appearance again so that he had a gas mask on. He chuckled a little and continued walking. The place looked deserted: there were old rusted cans everywhere, and all the shelves looked destroyed.
"dammit..."
he whispered to himself. The place was empty, all right.
Except for a group of raiders walking along the shelves. There were platforms to walk between the shelves.
"Oh great..."
Al hunkered down and crawled along, passing right under the raiders. He scanned cautiously around each corner as he went, making sure none were walking around. And after many tense minutes of crawling around, he found a back room that was littered with bottles of water and various cans of food.
"There we go."
He was sure there was a grin on his face stretching from ear to ear. It was like a poor person stumbling upon a lot of money. His appearance altered yet again to look like a garbage dump worker with a very large burlap bag. He immediately grabbed anything in sight that did not look bad, which eventually he found out was around three-quarters of the contents in the room. The bag was almost full, and then he came across something he hadn't expected: a device that looked like a toy gun. There were even batteries right next to it. He shrugged, and melting back into the shinobi-like outfit he stuffed the toy and the batteries into his pocket and was about to walk out of the room until he found a working computer. He sat down in front of it. After pressing a button on the screen it flashed a message.
WELCOME TO ROB-CO. INDUSTRIES.
"Rob-co...?"
The screen went blank for a moment and then asked for a password. Luckily, there was a little credit card with a number etched into it. He clacked the number in and it worked. There were a bunch of flashing words and then a screen popped up.
PLEASE CHOOSE APPROPRIATE RESPONSE:

ACTIVATE CORE FUNCTIONS; DISABLED
ACTIVATE SECURITY MEASURES; DISABLED

He clicked through each one that could be activated and filmed it all on a small camera, hoping the information would become useful later, and even took a few pictures of some graphs he found. He turned it off, and with tying the burlap bag he exited the back room, making sure he walked carefully without moving the bag around.

I want something that is a mixture between action, romance, and drama.
Like....
300 meets The Other Boleyn Girl.
But in modern times.
I'm down with pretty much anything except for yaoi or however you spell it.

@your dilemma: If you don't mind graphic stuff like violence and adult content you should check out the series called Spartacus. Each episode is literally like its own movie.
