THERAPY STATUS: Lucid dreaming figures remain as murky as ever; Gluskin claims near constant control of his dream state, yet correspondence between his narrative and REM cycles. Highly arhythmic REM/NREM. Morphogenic Engine activity plateaus at 90 PPM.

DIAGNOSTICS: Heavy bronchial accumulation. The rashes associated with hormone therapy have receded and vanished since we stopped using latex tubing.

INTERVIEW NOTES: Gluskin remains a frustrating interview subject; he's still trying to tell us what he thinks we want to hear, while studiously avoiding certain elements of the truth. His childhood remains an obvious fiction, he's claiming to have grown up in "Leave it to Beaver," despite a traumatically violent ongoing sexual experience that is a matter of public and medical record. When I confronted him with the photographs his father and uncle took, he responded with a mixture of laughter and anger, and restraints were issued.

He similarly refuses to discuss his victims, both categorically and specifically. When I showed him pictures of the women, he would not admit that they were dead or mutilated.

He is still claiming advancement in the Morphogenic Engine program that he has not yet achieved, said that he could clearly hear the voice of the Walrider just by closing his eyes. Clearly he's still trying to curry the favor of his doctors. I won't speculate what he expects to gain by it."

THERAPY STATUS: Frustratingly unresponsive. Prefers to play mind games with the truth, giving only bits and pieces. Unknown dream state, since Vincent commonly avoids the topic of his dreams and sleep like the plague. NREM stages are quickly bypassed with hormone additives. REM stages are increased, duration of sleep harder to rouse patient from. Good candidate for Morphogenic Engine.

DIAGNOSTICS: Heavy bronchial accumulation consistent with patient with histories of tobacco and marijuana.

INTERVIEW NOTES:Vincent remains uncooperative. The only insight into his childhood are from records of early therapy, but most records of said therapy were lost in a fire the patient caused. Female therapist [Angeline Finkelstein] likely to have been one of Eddie Gluskin's unidentified victims. Records of divorce seem to be the bases of whatever trauma he experienced.

Displaying evidence of murders and mutilation of the women is the only thing that rouses any reaction from him. Mostly in a series of manic laughter. Claiming that the women deserved their deaths. Readily defends Eddie Gluskin at every turn, shows signs of being emotionally dependent. After asking about the whereabouts of his missing mother again, Vincent predictably falls silent.

Still claims that he is mentally sound, refuses to speak about his dreams. Notably flinches when the lights are off, further observations on the subject is needed.

Recommended administration of a truth serum next session.

THERAPY STATUS: Unresponsive. Truth serum was administered. Though dazed he still spoke very little, reciting nothing by praise for Eddie Gluskin but purposely taunting as to the fact that nothing has been able to work so far. Unknown dream state, despite the fact that he woke up screaming for the first time in the experiment, he will not speak about it. REM stage has increased vastly. Emotional trauma seems to be the link between the sudden progress, will have to study further for more conclusive answer.

DIAGNOSTICS: Heavy bronchial accumulation consistent with patient with histories of tobacco and marijuana. Sprained wrist and heavy bruising around left shoulder, right ribs, left thigh and right leg. Will recommend a less abrasive physical treatment of the patient if they want these results to be accurate.

INTERVIEW NOTES: Today's events outside of the therapy room showed more than I have been able to gather from Vanguard. Earlier notes about emotional dependency have been confirmed. Vanguard and Gluskin are heavily dependent on other other in more than one sense. I was particularly curious to have seen Vanguard throw himself in a protective gesture over Gluskin. Seemed to be some traces of humanity left but I'm sure that won't last for long. I will have to review that footage to make deeper and more extensive notes. One of them being that his fighting style shows more about his personality than he would ever care to acknowledge. See footnote at the bottom for more information.

In therapy, Vanguard shut down. A defensive tactic, seeing that there are bigger faucets to his personality than I had hoped for. However, after an hour of tedious repetition of questions that I would like to have answers to- I resorted to negotiating tactics. Only to find another mental dead end. There is nothing that he wants, other than Gluskin, that holds any leverage over him. I resorted to try and bargain with him, answers- for time with Glukin. He spat in my face and shared a few more vulgarities. I need to get through to him, and will make my request directly to Mr. Blair.

Visibly trembles when lights are shut off, hooked up to a heart monitor the EKG showed the increase in heart race when in the dark. Whisper mutterings too soft to be caught on recording devices. Further study needed. Next time, I'm just going to shove him in a dark room.

* Tanlang Quan ( "Mantis Boxing" ) is the closest I could find to Vincent Vanguard's style. While understandably more urban and animalistic in nature, the precise moments in which he steps and delivers blows are extraordinary. It takes a lot of mental patience, strength and cunning to fight in such a way, fortunately, it seems that Vincent can only engage with one or two opponents at a time. I will do further research but for now, this is the closest I've got.

I wonder where he learned to fight or if he taught himself. Ask this in next therapy session.

AND I've been figuring out a lot about biology. I was on the fence about it before, but now I can say with absolute certainty that a person can't live without his kidneys. You learn something new every day."

"Dr. Walsh. Entry number twenty five; Someone needs to remember that Walker needs to be restrained. The guy is starting to go off the deep end and I'm starting to question why he is still in Project Walrider if he shows no prospects. I'm even more against him having any kind of free range since it just seems like a disaster waiting to happen. Hormone therapy at stage one has already increased subject's body mass and strength while reducing REM states. And the increased aggression and self mutilations is frankly worrisome. I have already requested larger restraints because I have a bad feeling that we'll need it. At this point I think Jeremy is just pushing his luck if he thinks administering stage two will change anything. But what do I know apparently? I just work here."

Daily Log ["Checking In"]- Dr. Xavier. 2013.10.06

"Dr. Xavier. Entry number sixteen; This is by far the worst place I've worked at. The gender inequality is heavy here at Mount Massive. Male doctors and staffers speak on hushed voices to each other and whenever a woman approached they shush up and go their separate ways. Its ridiculous. I feel like I'm walking around on egg shells and like I'm some sort of bad guy for having consideration of the patients. Its just simple things like giving them water sometimes, and even that is an uphill battle to get approval for. Who the hell made it a rule that every little thing needs approval? Yesterday I saw one of the patients get shot down with rubber bullets. Rubber bullets! These people might be sick and dangerous, but they're not animals. When I demanded to know what happened to the patient, I was told not to worry about it and keep going about my daily rounds. I don't know. I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this place and my female nurse aids agree with me."

There was a sigh. Sounds of papers shuffling before the feminine voice with the thick country accent continued.

"All this stress can't be good for me and the baby. And I'm definitely starting to feel run down and sick. I might ask for some time off next week..."

PATIENT [#103] "The Twins" - Dr. Radcliff. 2013.11.06

"Dr. Radcliff. Entry number seventeen; They are strangely fascinating. Their thoughts are eloquent and yet it is almost as if they share the same mind. If it weren't for the fact that they're going to be entering the Engine soon, I probably would have asked for them to be my personal case studies. I don't really understand how their mind works, and today I'm running some tests to hopefully gather from physical evidence that they are mentally in the same wave lengths. Before they're tampered with. I haven't been about to gather anything from their past that could have cased this unique condition, it all seems to be pretty normal. Its like they willingly isolated themselves from the rest of the world even when they had had the chance. Though their criminal history is in stark contrast to their placid personalities. Hell, I almost don't believe that the murders they tried to pin on them can be true- but still. Better safe than sorry. Especially since they're starting to exhibit obsessive and possessive tendencies. Undoubtedly an unspoken side effect from the screens."
