Actually I just realized. ..

Maybe their master is the one who is the demon Hunter and his staff helps (or does his job because he can't). Conversely, they're demon hunting to keep them from their poor master who's the demon's target/doesn't believe in magic.

Sorry just random possible plot from a person who should be doing housework and not be on her phone

The second one is the one I had an idea for ( I posted it earlier I believe? I don't know xD). That way we would all be, in our own right, main characters and basically special to the world vs being a Demon Hunter's assistants. Like an idea I had would be protecting the Queen from a demon attack, or the Duke of York from a Warlock out to get him.

I actually didn't realize it's pretty much the same plot until now .3.

Whatever works for the group is fine for me, throw all the ideas!

Also I had it in my mind we'd be like a squad or something, that way if we get too close we can add another bit of story where like the organization is threatening to split us up and we're like 'Nuh-uh bruh'
