side kicks hurt like a b***h...but they are far in few when used in a actual match. You almost never see them in most MMA competitions, nevermind street fights.

Tae kwon do's usually not the best thing to do, or to start with but some times you could find a good school. Theres too many Mcdojangs for that form, its easy to get gypt unless you know how to find mcdojo's.

Do they include any ground fighting?

The leader of the alchemist of the fighters guild, some thought he was the best alchemy user in gaia at one point. He dissapeared though. He trained kenji and others in the use of alchemy. At one point he was the dojo's nemicise...but was nearly matched by Morning Moonglow and there has been an unneasy truce sence then...but that was back when Sieg had no powers whatsoever.

but I havnt seen him in a while, why?

Heh. I have to admit, I was skeptical when I first was approached by him. He's been out of it for sometime, but he's definetly got the talk down. I wouldn't be surprised if he can pull off some good stuff, his reputation precedes him.

you know whtat i hate? PPl thinking they are the s**t in MA because they take some Japanese MA's like karate, aikido, bushido, etc...You know, Jap martial arts. Then they wouldnt listen if you tried to tell em something outside japanese arts...I showed my friend a few wing chun moves from the JKd book, and in a very short spar, my friend acted quick and trapped his arm(looked like the Lop Sao movement.)in the perfect time and moment...Lucky it wasnt a serious spar...It was after the Fencing lesson, so we were just into it.

Yes I blocked afew side kicks today and yes they can hurt, our sensei is a great instrustor and he is very helpful. I was going to go with a different martial arts but after taking part in the class today, I decided that it was what I wanted to do.

I have tried Judo in the past and been to sword fencing, both were fun. But I found Judo abit soft in some ways and had to give fencing up.

dont worry, the americans are still ahead of everybody else but basicly every country has there goods and bads.

Ninjitsu - They think there hard core, but they dont even spar.
