Summary: A young, black-clad girl hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada. She lives with her father, Akito Hotaka, and has a black kitten - though Akito takes care of it, most of the time. She is mostly regarded as strange among other children her age, if only because of how she's practically nocturnal. At night, she becomes cheerful and high-energy, quite a 180 from her dull and apathetic self during the day. The reason for her being nocturnal is unknown. When she's awake, she enjoys necklace-making.

Summary: Breezed through school and managed to study both prosecution and defense sides of law. He is ruthless at his job but is far from perfect. He has not won every case but he does his best to find the truth behind every case.

His ultimate goal is to find the killer of his parents from when he was a child. The man is a mastermind he messed with the crime scene and set up another person. That is his MO, kill his target and set up someone else so finding out it was him in the end is next to impossible. Jet only remembers his appearance not his name. However, Jet is convined the man will screw up someday. He will prosecute the man when that day comes or defend whoever the man sets up.

Jet however is awful with people in his personal life. He is shy around cute girls and only acts confident when hes on the job which is most of the time. You could say hes only confident in things from the neck up.

Summary: Lychee is an…odd little girl of nondescript Asian descent, though most assume she’s Chinese just because of the origins of her name. She doesn’t use pronouns when referring to herself, and in fact, usually doesn’t refer to herself at all unless she is giving her name. English is her first language - so why she speaks it terribly is a mystery, as are most things besides the fact that she’s a very powerful empath.

Summary: A pale little boy who refers to himself in third-person - always as "Kotose". He tends to avoid physical contact with others, and has a near-constant cough, but despite his sickness he isn't a whiny little brat; instead, he's unbelievably sweet. He really, really, really likes orange juice.

Summary: After a certain case involving a certain young man came to an end with his death, L had no calling. He felt no need to continue his job, for his ultimate calling had been to kill Kira. This he did, however heavy the regret of losing his friend had been. There was nothing but to wait. Nothing but to wait for something to come up, some interesting case to take ahold of, some victory to win...
None came.

So, L quit. He packed whatever things he felt he needed, gave a farewell to Watari and moved from his home to the apartment he would often stay in while working with one of his friends. Remaining there ever since he had found it difficult to go into the warehouse, not just because he knew so few people when it came around to it, but because he had disappeared off the face of the Earth some months before when he did quit. He'd been trying to gasp onto his life and piece it together, but was failing. He would need help.

Willing to still lend a hand in his detective expertise to his friends he decided to stop trying to cut out his regrets and fears and get over them the only way he knew how: moving forward. Still the chilling memory of the night he and Light had the final showdown, the night his best friend and worst enemy was killed was as fresh as a wound on his heart and mind. He only hopes his friends will not view him as a fool.

Summary: An energetic young teenager from Alaska who's on an extended vacation to California with her best friend Kaylee. Marina is cheery to the nth degree, and an eternal optimist - okay, not quite eternal, but more often than not, she's thinking optimistically. Strangely enough, she has an intense dislike for the color blue (but thinks her own eyes - blue - are amazing). She has a habit of giving people cutesy nicknames. Currently she's trying to learn a handful of languages, including Chinese, Hindi, Russian, and Hawaiian, in order to break the language barrier separating her and a few people she's met. She is a victim of the warp, tending to randomly get dragged in while trying to go somewhere else; it doesn't seem to bother her too much, though.

Name: Valerie Hawthorne
Age: 23
Occupation: Police officer
Summary: Very little is known about Valerie Hawthorne. The half-sister to Dahlia Hawthorne, and a police officer, Valerie seems to have her own hidden agenda. When her sister, her sister's boyfriend Terry, and herself came up with a plan to rob the girls rich jewel dealing father, Valerie betrayed the other two, shooting at Terry. Dahlia took the jewel and jumped of the bridge. Dahlia was never found, nor the jewel, and Terry spent five years in jail for murdering her, to which Valerie testified, despite knowing the truth.

When Terry left jail, he set up to meet Valerie, wanting to know why she had betrayed them. Valerie was, apparently, going to explain everything when she was killed. Again, Terry was accused, though many fingers wound up pointing to Dahlia in the end. The full trail concerning Valerie's death can be found here.

Some years after she died, Valerie was brought back to life by the King of Purgatory, Dream. Her mission was simple: To keep an eye on the goings on at Wright and Co, and to find out more information on a murder attempt made on Phoenix.

At least, the mission should have been simple. Not a week into the chaos Valerie demanded help. There were a million things to keep up with, and for a while, she and Neil Marshall managed, barely, to stay alert and aware. Inevitably, however, their minds just couldn't take it any more,and their mission was adjusted. Valerie and Neil only had to observe Phoenix Wright, Miles Edgeworth, and Damon Gant. For personal reasons, Jake Marshall and Lana Skye were also added to the list. At one point, Valerie flipped off to Giana and grabbed Jan Marshall, Jake Marshall's alternate, female self. Neil and Jake's responses to the woman were delightful, and the exact sort of thing Valerie was looking for to lievn the two men up.

Jan and Valerie became fast friends, and though Valerie doesn't trust anyone completely, she loved Jan.And, in her own way, Neil as well. Which was why the Halloween events of 2007 had her completely broken. Jan was attacked, and Valerie defended her, with Neil. Thinking she killed the men, Valerie still had Neil watch Jan. Two weeks later, Jan was attacked by the same men. Neil rushed in unarmed to help, and was all but ripped apart. Jan was killed and turned into a prototype vampire. Valerie found Niel's body, and for several months could barely eat a slice of bread a day. Jan went missing, and had to be found, because unless she 'merged' with the vampire, she would die in less than 24 days. The situation was sorted, and Jan returned to Giana, taking the half-dead Valerie with her. The woman has not been seen since.

Summary: Having passed the bar test spring 2008, Ace now has her own office under the police. She’s saving up for her own firm, though, and has plans to go to art school…eventually. She served as the defense’s council in the Rat Trial involving Maya Fey and a colony of giant sentient rats, particularly Argus and Slade. Truth is stranger than fiction. As of December third 2008, she is engaged to Geoffrey Hear. Awww. heart

Summary: A mysterious red-eyed girl, it’s rumored that if you contact her via a website called the Jigoku Tsuushin - the Hotline to Hell - at exactly midnight, and enter in the name of a person who has wronged you, she will appear and offer to take revenge on your behalf. Some people have even reported others with her; two men, a woman, and occasionally a small child. Otherwise, nothing much is known about the Jigoku Shoujo.

Summary: In his childhood, Horatio was abused by his father, and his mother was killed by his father. Horatio eventually ended up killing his own father. His brother, Raymond Caine fell in love with a woman named Yelina Salas, who Horatio had feelings for. Raymond has his own past, but Horatio ended up cleaning up his messes several times. Horatio has a child named Kyle, but does not have custody over the teenaged boy. He also has a nephew named Ray Jr.. He has taken on the dreaded Mala Noche gang in Miami and saved several lives with a nearly flawless solve rate. However, after gaining several enemies in his own life, affecting his labs and coworkers, he asked for a secret transfer to Durem's Crime Labs. He is a kind, strict, tough, gentle, and generally heroic person. Currently, he's trying to forget the past and move forward, but is having problems involving that.
