Oh yes, as some helpful advice to those of you new or coming in (if you don't do this kind of thing already), don't be afraid to talk to other roleplayers in the thread about their characters if you think that you have an idea that may involve theirs for any future events or planning for them in the RP itself (or even history planning for past events). That way we/you can connect strings and put it together to build the plot in a more organized way, and it helps spawn more ideas, which in turn makes it easier to write since you have some sort of path to follow (and gives you a lot to look forward to as well!)

And you never know. Plotting with someone else's character may in turn work out in coinciding with another persons character or plotline (or 2 people characters who happened to be plotting, etc), and expand it from there like a web. Building connections and reasons, and making it easier to put together a feasible storyline where everything makes sense and happens for a reason! Though it's not like that will happen for everyone, but basically what I'm saying is don't be afraid to do plotting! .o/

(Though I know we're all lit here so this would probably be known, I'm just saying it again anyways to get people more sociable!)

Anyone in the revolution using Magitek, and needs to talk about it, shoot me a PM anytime. Dane (that's a link) is the resident Leach Magitek expert, and is more than happy to have your characters' equipment upgraded to use it, despite the kingdom's scarcity of craftsmen who know how to make it. His profile will get minor updates tonight, but should be used as an example of what is expected.

I'm excited to plot with y'all.
But it's a bit difficult at the moment when there are no profiles.
Plotting does require quite a bit of backstory, I take it.

Yay Hello! biggrin I finally get to say hi to you! *waves at* WELCOME! heart Yes yes, that is true. Some of us have been linking each other to our test threads and some have just been working off of each other in chat or off of the reserve blurbs. But yes, it is encouraged! o/

I'm actually glad you came about again because I saw your new lovely oracle and it hit me that she and one of my characters might come from the same area! or at least close to, or at least have crossed paths once or twice or have some sort of connection x3 I'm just being super vague cuz I'm just waving a flag right now! But a good flag.

I've just skimmed through your reserves, and maybe you're talking about Pepper? (that's a lovely nickname by the way)

And yes, that was who I was talking about, I just didn't want to get all up in your face about it^^' (Baww, ty! <3) But yes, aside from the obviousness with their names and culturally inspired backgrounds I read that you said her village and destroyed. Obviously that was done by bandits, but it just kind of hit me as neat too because I was originally planned it out (in a nutshell with all details not mentioned with every bit of craziness involved) that she inevitably burned down and destroyed her entire village before going off and starting her crazy wandering life, leaving little left alive cuz she's a freaking nutcase.

Though age difference and whatever you had planned might be an issue, but they could still know each other possibly. I haven't written down anything in her history yet, but I have jotted down a general guideline that I was going to work off of. Pepper came from an outside village as well, and I haven't given it a name or anything^^'

Yes, I think that would be lovely, if they knew each other. :3 I see two options; they could have both been from the same village, or Pepper could have been from a nearby village? Whichever you think would work better.

The only reason why I'm proposing the "nearby village" idea is because I don't know what relationship Pepper and Sangmu would have, if Sangmu was once Pepper's Oracle and tribe leader ...and if Pepper burned down the entire village, at that. x)

So they could be from neighboring villages, and perhaps knew each other. Then Sangmu heard of the village burning down and Peppers' leave?

Or they could be from the same village and share an even more interesting relationship. c:

Awesome. I've seen all I need to see. Almost done with the basics of Bastanna's profile. And I sent in a reserve. If it gets the green light then I'll post some of their info and see who wants to be frrrriends with my babies. And plot with me.

In the mean time. EMMALETH!!! We need to talk about our mommy son relationship for sure~

Er actually there is one more thing. Alteration magic. I assume changing features on oneself is possible but can one change form? Are these changes illusion or flesh and blood? Changing something that is not ones own body is apparently possible but is it a real change? Can it convert back on its own?
