Err, Alex? This is going to sound completely stupid, but in my history, the king's advisor doesn't live in the palace.
Is.. that okay? It's ridiculous, but it doesn't interfere with the plot in any way, so can I just keep it like that? xDDD;

× INTERNAL AFFAIRS

›› ‹‹ || Beyond The Pretty Face ;;

    Ah, welcome, welcome, my dear, to my humble hall of records. Now, who exactly are you looking for information on? Elyon Priscilla Kelford? Oh, dear - are you sure? Well, I do suppose it's rather intelligent to gather as much information about your foes as possible... but, well, you may be disappointed. For the daughter of a king's advisor, she was not well known at all; we have gathered very little information on her, I'm afraid. Her tutor has submitted some papers, though, and we found a few pages in her maid's journal about her. Feel free to look at the few things that we have managed to get - you'll be able to gather that Elyon is not a very likable person.

›› ‹‹ || The Life Before ;;

    A middle-aged man sat at the only desk in the enormous, beautiful dome-shaped room. The kingdom of Sujine was known for its amazing buildings, and this one was by far one of the most attractive ones in the whole underground kingdom. The man sitting at the desk, however was anything but attractive. Perhaps he had been at one point in his life - he was not ugly now, but the dark circles under his eyes and the lifeless expression on his face did not compliment him. Drake William Kelford had the same expression on his face as somebody who had worked far too hard and too much to care about anything else. This gloomy way of life had gotten him a job as the king's advisor, and he was determined to keep it, even if it meant sacrificing his happiness. He looked at the clock and sighed; it was well past three in the morning, and he wasn't even half done with his paperwork. He dipped his quill into a bottle of ink, pressed the tip to his paper, and scrawled a few words before opening his mouth and letting out a huge yawn. Drake was disgusted with himself - he had worked hard to get his job, and wasn't about to lose it because he was sleepy.

    Lowering his eyes to his paper again, he signed his name with flourish before putting it aside and looking at another, which contained a few paragraphs written in minuscule print. He turned his quill in his fingers for a few minutes before realizing that he had been reading the same sentence over and over. Scowling at his own incompetence, Drake forced himself to start at the beginning of the paragraph, reading each sentence slowly. This was an important article, and missing one word could have huge effects. He was at the middle of the page when the door of the room opened and a young maid came in, her thin fingers clutching and twisting each other in anxiety. All the maids of the Kelford manor hated going into Drake's room, for he had a temper problem and scared them out of their wits. She let out a small whimper and curtsied when Drake looked up angrily. "What is it?" he snarled, his eyes narrowed. "I'm quite busy here, as you can see." Exasperated that he had apparently scared her into silence, he barked, "Well, what is it, girl? Hurry up, I've got to get back to my work."

    The maid stepped back a bit - Drake was obviously in a very bad mood. She curtsied again before speaking. "Um, I'm very sorry for disturbing you, Sir, but I've been instructed to tell you that the Madame has had her baby tonight."

    "So?" Drake sneered icily.

    "Um, well, I suppose she wanted you to know, but, um, I mean, it's your baby, so - "

    He cut the maid off before she finished stammering her sentence. "It is a female, is it not?" She nodded, and his frown deepened. "You are excused. Do not disturb me for the rest of the night. I have far too much work to do."

    The maid curtsied once again and fled the room, clearly glad to get away from him while he was irritated. Drake scoffed and looked down at his paper, annoyed that he had lost his spot. He tried starting at the beginning of the page again, but found that he could not concentrate. He sighed and massaged his temples with his left hand, still holding a quill in his right. He had known all along that the baby would be a girl - the best doctor in the kingdom had confirmed it - so why was he so disappointed? A boy would have been so very useful; he would have been able to carry on the family name and become the king's advisor after Drake passed away. He would have become a respected member of society, and everybody would have looked up at him and the person who raised him, his father. But a daughter? What good would she be?

    He scoffed again, disgusted, and continued with his work. He had the same expression on his face as somebody who had worked far too hard and too much to care about anything else, least of all his daughter. This gloomy way of life would help him keep his job, and if he had to sacrifice his own happiness as well as his daughter's, so be it.

    A young girl sat at the window seat of her room, looking out at the kingdom of Tzukoki. She ran her finger along the rim of her crystal cup before lifting it to her lips and draining the last bit of water in it. Somebody knocked on the door of her bedroom, so she rose from her seat and opened the door, which, like everything in Tzukoki Kingdom, was made of blocks of magical ice. A plump woman stood in the hallway, her arms weighed down by a few heavy textbooks. "Good afternoon, Miss Elyon," she huffed, clearly exhausted by her climb up the spiral staircase that lead to the girl's room. "I'll be your new tutor; my name is Mrs. Siroka."

    Elyon's eyes flickered to the clock, and without missing a beat, said flatly, "You're late." She turned around and sat back down on her window seat. "Come in; you may sit wherever you'd like."

    The woman's smile faded for a bit, but it returned to her face as she stepped into the room gingerly and sat on a violet cushion on the floor. She shifted around, attempting to make herself more comfortable, and looked up at her thirteen-year-old student. The two sat in silence for a few minutes, and as she figured out that Elyon had no intentions of greeting her politely and welcoming her, Mrs. Siroka spoke. "All right, Miss. Shall we start? I think we should start off with reading this - "

    Elyon scoffed lightly and narrowed her eyes. "It's quite all right with me if we just keep this a ruse."

    Mrs. Siroka blinked at the coldness in her voice. "Excuse me?"

    Smirking with obvious pity, Elyon said, "There's no point in you attempting to teach me. I'm sure that I know much more at this age than you'll ever know in your life. Quite frankly, I think you'd embarrass yourself." She leaned over and picked up the thick novel Mrs. Siroka had in her hands. She scoffed again as she read the title. "Ah, The Origins of Tzukoki Kingdom." Shaking her head, she put it down beside her tutor. "I read that when I was seven. You're going to be here for three hours every day, correct? You may bring work or your own books here and sit there for those hours and leave me alone."

    "What? I'm sorry, Miss, but your father hired me to teach you, not ignore you! And even if you did know as much as me -"

    Elyon's teal eyes narrowed angrily. "Yes, I doubt he would need to hire somebody to ignore me - he's capable of that himself. And 'know as much as you'? Don't insult me." She got up from her window seat, and though she was only a preteen, she looked quite intimidating as she strode over to her bookcase and pulled out a thick, leather-bound novel. "At any rate, are you aware of the fact that I can get you fired at any time I want? I'm sure you wouldn't want that. Try to argue with me if you must, but your job may be gone if you do. If you agree to my conditions, you will be able to keep your job."

    "Ignoring you? Well, I hardly think that your father is ignoring - " Wincing at the intensity of Elyon's glare, Mrs. Siroka stopped mid-sentence and nodded meekly.

    What an idiotic woman. If she didn't see that Elyon's father didn't care about her at all, she was truly beyond a moron. She knew the reason why she had been discarded disinterestedly, cast away like a rag that had reached the end of its usefulness. At least a rag was useful for a few months; from the day that she was born to now, Elyon had never been useful - she was female, not a boy like her father had wanted. She knew that some of the other children in the world would have thrown temper tantrums, but she wasn't like the other children of Aeonix. She was the daughter and only child of the king's advisor; she had been born into nobility, and she knew better than to argue with her elder.

    Why, her father only insisted that she got a tutor because the king had asked about her. Elyon blinked rapidly as she remembered the week before, when the king had come over for dinner. Her father had made a huge fuss, making the maids scrub the house until it practically sparkled. The king had just dined with her parents; she had not been invited to dine with them, but she hadn't minded at all. She had been perfectly content with staying in her room, where she had been when she heard the conversation.

    "Ah, the restroom is just down this corridor..."

    Elyon looked up from the novel she had been reading as she heard the sound of her father's voice outside her door. It was not a sound that she heard often, and she doubted that she would have been sure it was him if it wasn't for the honey dripping from his voice as he sucked up to the king. It was quite pathetic, really, that she was much more familiar with the next voice that spoke.

    "Why, thank you for leading me to it. Say, how is Elyon?" asked the king.

    The said girl had returned to reading, and now looked up at the door, as if she was able to see right through it.

    "Elyon, Your Majesty? Excuse me for my incompetence, but who is that?" Her father's voice sounded genuinely confused. "I don't believe I've ever heard that name before - but if you know her, Your Majesty, she must be very important."

    The king's voice sounded even more shocked than her father's. "Elyon? Hm, perhaps I got the name wrong, but I thought she was your daughter."

    Elyon, who was still in her room, blinked rapidly as her father's stammering voice faded as he and the king got farther away. A single tear escaped from her aquamarine eyes and slid down her cheek. Disgusted with herself, Elyon wiped it away furiously, angry that she was crying on her birthday because of somebody she didn't even know.

    Now, once again in her room but no longer crying - for she vowed that she would never cry again, much less because of her father, of all people - the daughter and only child of the king's advisor opened her book and began reading.

    TEXT PLZ. Scene about how the Dark King recruited herr? (:
    Coming really really soon.
    I totally forgot about this! Even though it's, like, the most important part. x__x;

    A smile tugged at the corners of her lips as Elyon stood above her father. His face was deadly white, his eyes wide - he was scared. Her smile grew larger as she pushed a few copper locks of hair behind an ear. Behind her were the people of Tzukoki Kingdom, all frozen beneath an unbreakable sheet of ice, killed by her hands. "Hello, Drake," she said with a smirk.

    "W - who are you? Why do you know my name?!" Drake's voice was hoarse from fright.

    Elyon's smile faded, and she narrowed her eyes in anger. "I am Elyon Priscilla Kelford, your daughter." A single tear escaped from her aquamarine eyes and slid down her cheek. She raised her hand and pressed it to his chest - his heart. "Goodbye, Father." Pale blue ice began to spread from her fingertips, crawling hungrily up his body and up to his face, leaving the sorrowful expression still on it frozen forever in ice.

    A large, rather innocent-looking bubble appears above the victim, drifting slowly toward him. When the victim is captured inside the bubble, it bursts into a swarm of bubbles that crack and pop rapidly. These are no ordinary bubbles, however; they're painful and excruciating; and although they're made of water, they burn like fire and leave scars when they pop. Elyon uses this attack to torture her enemy - although it's extremely powerful, it takes a few good minutes to kill him. The bubbles will pop all throughout these few minutes, burning and stinging like nothing you've ever felt before. By the end of this experience, most people beg for death - a wish that Elyon grants with pleasure.

    { Icicle Rain } -

    { Frigid Coffin } -
    Elyon places her hand on her victim to start this attack. Deadly, thick ice spreads from her fingers and crawls across her victim's body hungrily. This is the quickest attack; her victim is frozen in ice in a matter of seconds.
