This is a round by round tektek elimination contest. In the end, there will only be one winner. That winner will take home a 60k prize.

- All entries must be PMed to Tai gui le (mule account open to all judges) before the deadline. Entries posted in the thread and not PMed will not be accepted.
- If you are going to be gone or miss a deadline please let us know so we can decide a course of action to take. Late entries without forewarning will not be accepted.
- Respect fellow contestants and judges.
- Don't try to bribe the judges. Seriously.
- Using past avatars is against the rules. All entries must be newly created tekteks. You may (and are encouraged to) use the dream free option.
- No resubmission or editing entries after they're sent in.
- You may post your entries in the thread to get the opinions of other contestants, but no judges will comment on them unless a rule of the round is broken and needs to be fixed. Remember, final entries must be PMed to Tai gui le.

Round 1/2
For this contest we're accepting 25 people, but this round is designed to cut those 25 down into the top 15, who will then go on to compete for the final prize.

For this round, things are simple. Use the provided avi base to make an avatar. Eye changing items (Oculus), wigs/hair covering items, and skin changing items (other bases, masterpiece, superior form, skin dyes, etc) are not allowed. You must use the base as we provided it. Otherwise you are on your own and free to do as you will.

Now that we're down to twelve contestants we thought we'd roll out an old favorite challenge from the last contest Dan, Sara, and I were involved in.

Each of you has been assigned a month. Your avi this round must be based off of the MC's from that month.

You do not have to use them all, but they should play a predominant role in your avi. Be wary if you pick a smaller item as it could get lost in the look. Your best bet is to use multiple MC's.

For this round, there are no limits. In fact, going above (or maybe just up up and away) is called for. Design a super hero or villain for this round. Be creative and be wary of sets. Descriptions are welcome, cosplays are not.

Round 6: Unphased by Teamwork!

Each team has been assigned a combo of evolving items. Together you both have to create an avatar based on one of those items, the other person making a contrasting avi with the second EI. (For the team who gets the urn I specified which colored items within it each person on the team should be working with)

Like the MC challenge, the EI's must be the main focus. But also keep in mind that your two avis need to look like a pair. Try not to make a carbon copy of what your partner does, though, as that would be boring. ;D

Round 7: Holy Holly Holidays!

I figured it's time for a holiday themed round. The biggies; Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, St. Patrick's Day, and Easter are a bit overused and far too easy for you guys, so they will not be featured this round. Instead, we're going a little bit off the beaten track. Each of you has been assigned and lesser/obscure holiday to work with. All of them will require some creativity.

If you are unfamiliar with your holiday I strongly recommend looking it up for inspiration. You don't want to miss the mark this late in the competition.

Discord and Swift have immunity and will make it to the top five, but the other three spots are open for the taking.

No immunity will be granted for the remainder of the contest.

Round 8: We've Got Layers!

I'm in the mood to crush some dreams. On top of killing one of your chances to win the prize with an elimination this round, Dream Free is absolutely and totally off limits for this challenge.

You must make an avi that can layer on Gaia.

To help on the layering issues you're sure to encounter the judges and I have compiled all of our environments into one. You must use the environment. You cannot add items that are not already there.

Judges can give feedback on what layers and doesn't layer, any duplicates they might own, what generation EI's they have, as well as telling you when tektek is full of crap since sometimes items in our environment won't show up as being not-included in the price.

We will not tell you if we generally like or dislike what you're making. We're saving those comments for actual judging. ;D

Round 8.5 Quickfire Round; Sha vs Pooj!

As most of you know, Sha was away for this past round. Instead of giving a free pass so late in the game or annoying us all by another no elimination round, we decided to settle this like men. (Although the majority of us are girls) Pooj and Sha will face off in this challenge to determine which of them will make it to round 9.

Mar, Discord, and Swift, sit back and relax.

Pooj and Sha:
You both have to use this tektek base and make an avi off of it. You cannot completely cover or remove any of the existing items on the base. Other than that, you have free range over what you want to do with it.




Entries are due April 15th, but please try and get them in before then if you can so we can move onto the next full round.

Round 9: In need of a little Direction...

For this round each of you has been assigned a direction. As in North, East, South, and West. You just have to make an avi inspired by the direction.

The only limit is that you are not allowed to use cash shop items. That includes items that came from random chance items that were sold in the cash shop.
