I'm confused... gala to me, means a really, really fancy ball, think beauty and the beast, enchanted, cinderella, etc.

@Retro: I don't think a mohawk is fitting for a gala, nor do I think any legs should be showing for a gala avatar. But Tux's definition is so vague so other than that, I like how well it matches ^^

We're after an interesting take on a fancy ball outfit, like outfits that wouldn't look out of place in the masquerade ball scene in Labyrinth, interesting layers, textures, colours, be as wild and out there as you like but keep it formal.

Okay I've received everyone's entries except for LadyKayHearts and Neverar Ultima. LadyKayHearts doesn't have an extension so if any of you see her please remind her about the contest, and I will be sending her a pm. If she gets her entry in before the judging is finished then she will not be disqualified.
