Look at these green schemes this week smile
I don't usually like purple and green together (like venom), but lighten them up, make them pastels, and then snapdragon happens~ With eggplant to create the contrast rather than off/black, I like it even more.

Moluccella is a really nice shiny green. Haven't invested in any, though, but I would like to see more of it.

here's my try at Moluccella, not sure i got the greens quite on point, but i really enjoy the hue shifts and i'd be pleased to see more of it, in a variety of items, hope to try Snapdragon in the next few days, both of these themes are real cute

These are both pretty schemes! I'm actually kind of surprised that Snapdragon hasn't been more popular, given that green was a pretty popular request a while back. (Maybe the times didn't coincide. Dates aren't my strong suit. redface ) It's soft and feminine and seems perfect for spring. Plus, no pink! Just seems like a win. Although, I guess, tea green is my favorite pastel and I absolutely adore eggplant in real life so... maybe I'm a little biased. Just a little, though.

Admittedly, I like snapdragon better than molucella. Both are gorgeous, don't get me wrong, there's just something about molucella. I don't know. It just, to me, works better as an accent. But that might be my combo of migraines and iffy vision acting up. Some colors just hurt or itch. It's weird, I know.

Took a break from making pictures for my guide to finally make a recolor. Woohoo! I went eggplant-heavy and chose an item that, honestly, doesn't mesh with the current items. I will not be held back by society's mores! 100% because I adore the sassy legs. They need an affordable recolor. So, you know: Oh, Snap! Dragon Princess.

I like molucella but I haven't gotten any yet.
After I started aving things in snapgragon it was fun. lol At first I thought I wouldn't like aving the theme. Let's just say I like the hat.
A lot of my stuff with tea had shamrock/ melon or creamsicle, lol mainly had to work around shamrock/ melon.

Molu is yet another hue-shifted color that I have a hard time looking at. It's pretty, and I own all of the items, but ...I never use it. sweatdrop Taken by itself, it's hard for me to see anything but a blinding spot of green on my screen.

I only used it once, but I mixed it very heavily with the Blooming scheme.


Snapdragon I'm on the fence about. Nothing really in my style has come out, so I haven't had a real chance to play with it yet. Elegant fantasy soon please artists?

I voted yes for both schemes this week. I know some are going to ask why I'd vote yes for snapdragon, since it has purple in it. The truth is, a friend of mine loves that scheme a lot, so I want them to get much much more of it.

As for Moluccella, it has the right type of quirkiness I like. Yes, it is bright, but it is bright in the weirdest way possible. Would find it really interesting to see some suit items in this scheme. :3

Bolded for emphasis. This is how I feel about bugberry, actually. That's it's so interesting with how bright and shiny the yellow/green is and then immediately contrasted by the blue. And then I got to thinking, what would bugberry and molu look like together?



My conclusion: Molu seems to take away from bugberry. Maybe I didn't try hard enough or didn't take enough time to find poses that didn't have the molu overlap with the bright yellow/green, b/c I seemed to find ways to..in a way.. replace it with molu. I think the molu was a bit too pale to really go with bugberry, especially when i didn't have any white/ivory or black to have a neutral color.

Also dropping off my current avvie. Since tea green is the typical hair color for snapdragon, I wanted to go back and bring more tea green compared to my first try, as well as pair down the eggplant. I like this avvie a lot more.

Awwwww. Kinda sad to see it not work well with bugberry. Always could use more colors to combo with the bb.

Though, did make me think. Have you tried molu with lotus?

I love it. I really love it. This tips me over the edge and makes me want to invest in moluccella now. I like pink and green schemes, but this takes the cake for me. I think that the coral pink really grounds both the molu and the merina orange; if it was just the orange and green, it'd be a shiny version of calabash. They are both light and airy schemes that work well with each other. Or perhaps I'm being biased to the Clear Seal items, but using my hands to cover the sides where transparent cards and back ribbon are, the avatar is still really balanced.

I've been wearing an avatar with molucella poses for a few days actually; I don't have many of them, so I'm personally mixing it with graceful (or etoile) and wintermint.

finally got around to snapdragon, really like the high contrast of the eggplant with the tea. also really appreciate the tips for pairing helped a lot
