Cygnus Fangirl

the only bugberry item i really like is the graveyard crasher recolor ... i do really love this scheme but none of the items for it besides that have particularly interested me! i'd totally pick up, like, a bugberry exorciblings or something.

Unless I open up my CIs, tier rewards and whatever else I have that contains the Bugberry items in them, I will only have 2 Bugberry items to work with right now. I also noticed the lack of Azure blue in my inventory too, so it's been hard to make an avatar out of what I have.

I know I said this before somewhere, but blue-green color combos are just lovely. I'll take any/all the bugberry, thirst/quench, fallen wish, etc. emotion_kirakira

Bugberry is one of those schemes where I'm not sure if I actually like it or not. I don't mind the shades of blue and green in it, but the way they're sort of,...mushed together in the scheme like a not very well done gradient,...idk.

I haven't done any of these in a while. I'm not too fond of this scheme. It's very… loud.

I have a so-so feeling about Bugberry. I like the brightness and the shades but it's not quite something I've been able to work with yet. I need to collect more of it before attempting an avi, though.

Bugberry was a pleasant surprise to see here! =D (Just like how it was a nice surprise to see not one, but two new Bugberry items in the last RIG.) It's not one of my top favorite schemes, but I do really like it. I've been wondering, though, why there has only been one other Paw item in this scheme since the item that started this color scheme--made by the wonderful Trundlebug--is a Paw skin.

While making this avatar, I noticed that paring Bugberry with Neptune (without gold) looked quite nice! I might try making another avatar with that combo later. (Also, it seems I unintentionally made my avatar similar to the Showcase Mule.)

Oh, wow! I have a mighty need for that Swift Shocker and Little Big Slugger! (Then again, I have a mighty need for Little Big Slugger in all of the color schemes that I enjoy.)

Oh, and Abominable Cutie too! 3nodding And, yeah... Although I like Bugberry, I can absolutely understand why others wouldn't like it. sweatdrop

If I work on it for too long, it gives me a headache it's so vibrant, haha! I think part of my dislike might just be what items it's used on. I found something that takes to it incredibly well:

I'm sure while working on these, part of you was thinking that the saturation was too high. Ha ha.
Yeah, pretty much all of the items it's been used on so far have been items that I rarely use or don't use at all. And I'm not quite sure the color scheme fits with the majority of them so far. But I think you're on to something! Punk-ish items (although I'm not a fan of those items), edgy styled items, and I would think items that are originally neon-themed would work well.

That is entirely okay because they all look good and I neeeeeds them

Also you keep getting better at mocks! I can imagine this scheme is all that easy to do compared to solid colors and they look great

Yea I've been separating the colors when it's annoying like with the bow, and sometimes when i use one that already has darker arms those arms the colors overall get weird so i separate those. Usually i don't bc it takes longer than just boxing the whole thing lol

I like the execution of the scheme in these mocks, punk/rave is great theme for the colors.

I much as I like Bugberry (even if it's because I'm easy to please with anything involving Cool Colors...), I agree the sharp contrast can be be a bit harsh. It's like the polar opposite of blackout-recoloring's problem: Instead of losing the finer details by homogenizing all hues into a very small range of monochrome, Bugberry's suddenly brusque jump in a wide color spectrum makes a lot of the brighter motifs a bit too distracting and harder to work with off-scheme poses (and it doesn't the selection is still too small that the themes clash too much when working with different Bugberry Items). I tried to work with Toxic accessories, but their Black sections were too often an obstacle to the composition...

That said, Thirsty/Quenched and Bugberry should be BFFs from now: the former is good softening the transition between Bugberry's extremes and and allows for a better integration with Toxic and Warmer Green hues, while the latter is great extending Thirsty's gradation into playing better with Blue-heavy Items.

If you want a few extra colours in there, Twilight compliments Bugberry and neutralises the harshness of it. The blues are close, and there's more twilight to choose from, so expands your options:
