Cherry soda is an alright scheme. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. The color scheme itself sort of seems almost a little too winter themed for my liking but then it's based around red and that's like saying all primary colors must stay within a certain season.

In any case, I used to use red a lot more than I do now. I'm not really a "red" person but I think it's extraordinarily easy to work with and overly easy to overuse which truthfully is one of my own personal qualms with it.

Cherry soda (while I don't personally own much of the technical scheme) is actually fairly easy enough to bolster up with other schemes mixed in. I had a few in my inventory so it was a start.

As for white pants with red shoes, yes, that could be more of a thing and perhaps some future cherry soda recolors could make it so?

I'm sorry/not sorry that i keep quoting you to ask about what items you have in your mocks! They are just so interesting and some things I don't think I've ever seen before, like the carcosan wanderer. what is the item here?
And about recolors, I like that some people may not like a scheme, but have second thoughts or may change their mind once they see any of the mocks here. Especially on color schemes that aren't as popular or used by Gaia often.

My favorite is seeing an older item (with or without recolors of its own) recolored in any of these newer schemes. Breathes new life, you know?

I don't mind at all! Items with few to no recolors are my favorite, so of course it skews to the less known items.

Red schemes are both the easiest and the hardest to work with.

My favourite thing about Cherry is its use of Warm Whites, but that's why emulating it also require a very delicate hold in how to balance them with the other colors.

okay, this is my cherry soda avvie for this week n.n
I had the crimson ballroom background on, but it made everything too dark and the white of the legs was too white, so I just took it off and now it looks better biggrin

I like and collect cherry soda. It is a simple scheme that doesn't require a large investment, both in gold and items, to get involved with. Plus, I feel like the crimson red used for cherry soda is brighter than the regular crimson used. It might not be by much, but it is enough to not hurt my eyes.

While I do like the scheme, I also feel like it kinda replaced librarian when it come to schemes. Don't let this happen, Gaia. Both schemes can exist, and exist at the same time.

i LOVE offchrome and red, but i'm not the biggest fan of the "tack gold onto EVERYTHING" trend that's been goin on for a while. sweatdrop
i like gold but i think its...i guess unnecessary on this scheme? especially since we already have librarian which is preeettty similar (not exact, don't kill me, please, i know)

I actually... really dislike cherry soda. The gold makes the scheme look so cheap (I also have this problem with ciel and velvetine) and the red is just so... plain. It's not an interesting or unique colour, it just feels like your default red. Much prefer something like rust, burgundy, brick, or hell even raspberry. If I was to use crimson for something, I'd probably just do old school red and black, ya feel.

I mean if it was just crimson and offblack/white (Which I believe is what Black Forest is but it uses a darker red???) then I would be more inclined to just be meh about the whole thing. But that gold totally ruins the whole thing ick.
