I love Kashmiri <3 really excited to hopefully see more <3

Dapper Puppy

I like kashmiri, and do hope to see more of it. I just hope it pulls a duckie on us and makes the tea green the primary and the amaranth the secondary.

I really like this color scheme! All bright a bubbly, and I think the shades of the two colors go well together. Considering there's a lot of items already ft tea green and amaranth, I don't really see a need to make more with this scheme specifically.

That being said, I love the kashmiri items.
I don't have enough green items, but I do like this scheme.

It was probably because they started to let items be recolored.
Also, when colors started to get specific names was a good sign that there were going to be schemes, because you would look for that specific color to find matching items. I think tea green was one of the first ones because Serene Green was tea green and was a tea item.
Actually, now that I think about it, mint was another specific color that was pretty searchable too. I remember it being pretty popular.
I think the biggest and one of the first was melty (mint+lavender). I feel like it was started and made big by user recolors/user madeitems if I remember correctly.

Cream as well probably? I mean... once it started it literally exploded. People loved it.

Also even though we had many blue colored items, I think the "cobalt" scheme was started by a really old MC called Captain Cobalt. It became a trend for "cobalt blue" to be paired up with cream. It didn't really have a name since color schemes were less common then.

And like you said, mint was a big one because it had very few items to "match" it for a really long time. And what items did match were pretty pricy for the time. So whenever more were released, users got really excited.

I feel like Lavender also used to be a big trend back then. Strange that it's one of the cheapest ones now.

Then I left Gaia for a few years to come back to Melty being beyond more popular now than when either Lavender or Mint were in their peak. I remember being so confused because I had no idea what "Melty items" were. I literally asked my friends if "Melty" was a person.
........... is it? because i still don't really know lol

Yes, cream was really big too. I still have a soft spot for both cream and mint.
I feel like off white replaced cream a bit.
I don't remember lavender as much, but I probably just wasn't in to it.
Melty isn't a person that I'm aware of. As far as it being related to a user, VVednesdays is the one I most associate with it. Not sure if she started it or not, but I know the two go hand in hand.

Hmm... You're right! I took a look at the past outfits I've made since my return, and I've definitely used far more off-white than cream. I should try making any outfit with it some day, but I feel that part of the reason I haven't is that it's either in outdated items with outdated color combos, or is part of a color scheme that I don't find appealing.

And thanks for the answer. I finally know after all these years. rofl

Please state what the new theme will be in this thread after it is rolled. I don't even know where the other thread is (and I kinda don't care). sweatdrop

I actually don't like the next theme being posted early since I feel like it bumps out the old scheme.
