I love the royal icing colour-scheme. I think it works really well with elegant, historical clothing and formal wear. I love the items that pair it with that shiny gold for like buttons and that sort of thing.
I'm still surprised that there hasn't been a royal icing recolour of Perfumed Bower. That artist's items lend themselves well to the colour-scheme (as seen with Frivolous Royal Blush) and it would look great.

We also need more items with male things in Royal Icing because this is definitely a more female based color combo going by all the dresses and skirts we have in this combo. It's not like Independence where there are some good offerings for the male avatars as well and we need to remedy that.
I completely agree with this sentiment! There are a lot of great formal and historical items that would look great in the royal icing colour-scheme. A while back I put together this train conductor avatar that I wished I could have in royal icing so that I could get the blue, cream and that soft gold. The avatar included: Simmering Remorse, White Rabbit's Pace, Death Speaker and Brazen Tamer. I'm surprised that some of the items still haven't been recoloured in this colour-scheme; Death Speaker has so many recolours that I expected to see one in royal icing. Hopefully there's still a chance for these recolours to come about.

Oh, and here's the avatar I'm talking about:

Inspired by Sacha Baron Cohen as the station inspector in the film, Hugo. Kinda wish we had some cute handlebar moustaches to go with it!

That would be a neat avatar in Royal Icing. I've always felt Royal Icining, or at least the Oxford from it, would be very good for some Victorian looks, especially male looks. We definitely need to give the guys more love with the Royal Icing. 3nodding

Oh well happy birthday!

It is an awesome scheme
one I'm glad has kinda been making a comeback as of recent
there are honestly not that many items in these colors
especially more masculine ones (as already stated)
My current avatar is my attempt at a more masculine look

Okay one's a [probably not so big] secret
as I'm still waiting to hear back about a rainbow ticket I submitted
on an item that I really like in oxford and esmeralda

but I'll post this one, which like I said isn't exactly Royal Icing
but I decided to pair oxford with sapphire and white and I really like the result

and hopefully before the week's over I'll have something else that I've been thinking about
these kinds of threads sometimes give me just the push I need to mock stuff up that I've been meaning to do

I love Royal Icing a lot! I don't agree that some schemes only fit one style or the other so I'm glad that Gaia recolors non-elegant items in Royal Icing as well, since I feel it looks good in many styles. It does give an air of elegance tho 3nodding
I think it looks really good with Peaches and Cream and Demure tbh~
I hope that we get more sooner than later...Even tho it's considered a winter scheme sweatdrop

Sparkling Transmutator

Rooooooyal Iciiiiiiing! heart My fave~

Summery Seeker

My favorite color scheme! And we've gotten quite a few items in it lately heart I own most Royal Icing items but am always looking to add more.

I like Royal Icing and would like to see some long gowns and "masculine" styles in it.

royal icing is a nice scheme. i don't really know how to describe it in words, but it feels like a reserved and quiet scheme, with a hint of classiness. it reminds me of macarons for some reason? even though you can make macarons in any color, really.... sweatdrop maybe its cuz of the name.

Excited to see the thread's revival. Royal Icing is a great colour to get back with. I personally prefer when the hair in Royal Icing is blonde to contrast against with the rest, but horses for courses (I always prefer natural tones over artificial ones)
