Rules
We have few rules, learn to follow them so that we may all enjoy our good company...

1) Enjoy yourselves. Always.
2) Don't get hostile. Ever. Otherwise Inspector Gray will have to show you out.
3) Only Raters may rate you. If you'd like to participate, PM Inspector Gray.
4) Don't stretch the page.
5) Follow the Tos of Gaia. Always.
6) You must have your avatar displayed in the Guestbook to participate in the Clue Challenge as either a Dinner Guest (Challenge Contestant) or an Inspectors Aid (Guesser).
7) If you are a participant of the Clue Challenge, conceal your identity to others. DO NOT tell them who you are! Let us all enjoy the suspense unfolding here.

[ Clue Challenge ] Has been simplified to it's original version and will become a weekly contest once again.
Join in on the fun by Pming Inspecty the form found at the bottom of the Dinner guests section.

[ Spotlight ] Has been tweaked. Now the spotlight can be given to anyone who asks for an clue, murder or evidence rating at the discretion of the raters. The person with the spotlight at the end of the month will win a prize. This month being a Sealed.

[ Mod's ] Mara & Tuni are now mods with access to Inspecty's account. Ask them for any thread related help.

[ Side expedition ] New side expo featuring our most lovable thread mules, Inspecty and Lobo will begin soon. The winner of this short 3 part contest will win a prize.


[ Critiques ] A plethora of new critiques/rates have been added or changed. Take note of them and ask for a few.

Pick one of our rates & the Boddy manor occupants will be with your shortly

Clue*) A basic #/10 rating with suggestions.
Murder*) A harsh #/10 rate. We will pick apart your avatar.
Evidence*) A four part #/20 rate based upon, Matching, Style, Flow and Creativity.

*Using these rates qualifies you for earning the spotlight. Raters will have the chance to give the spotlight to the people with exceptional avatars at their discretion. The person in the spotlight at the end of the month will win a prize.

D.O.A.) We will tell a short story of how you were killed.
Shattered Glass) We will share an artistic picture of what your avatar reminds us of.
Blunt Object) We will tell you what your avatar reminds us of in one word or phrase.
Jinkies) We will tell you what is unique about your avatar.
Victim) We will tell you which ATer murdered you and why.

Clue Challenge
All information pertaining to our Clue Challenge is found here. Read all the rules and contest information each contest, as they are subject to change. If your interested in being on the short list for an opportunity to play, PM Inspector Gray for inquiry.

Here's how this challenge works, There are Ten Dinner Guests: Mrs. Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Madame Rose, Monsieur Brunette, Mrs. Peach and Sargent Slate. Each is a suspect in the Murder of Mr. Boddy, the last heir of a large fortune. All of these Dinner Guests have their reasons for wanting to see his untimely death happen, however only one can be the killer.



There will be 10 players, each will get a base and a character theme to create their avatar based upon their own unique style.

No one will know any of the players true identities, not even each other.

Everyone who has signed the guestbook can participate in the contest.

Clues will be posted in the clue section if the contest is lagging on, however they are not necessary in order to make a guess.

Once a guess has been posted, Inspector Gray will tell them if they are correct of not.
You may only make one assumption at a time, with only two guesses allowed a day. If you make a correct assumption, you get an extra guess for that day. So, make educated guesses; it's elementary, my dear Watson!

If they are correct in their assumptions, the character will leave the manor. One by one, each guest will leave until the last one is standing alone as the murderer.

The goal of the game is to be the last person standing. To get away with Murder.

Here are our dinner guests, each has a clever alias, find the true identities of our guests out for a consolation prize.

An Asian seductress who will stop at nothing to gain a profit.
She wore a dress to this dinner that's just to die for.

An retired military man who has traveled
halfway around the world to see Mr. Boddy on a grave matter.

A young ornithologist (president and sole member of the Peacock Salvation Society)
who will stop at nothing to protect her rare bird friends.

An archeologist who claims to have found
a discovery of a skeleton that will rival the Piltdown Man.

The long-time only servant of Boddy Manor,
who is rumored to spy on guests using keyholes.

A mathematical genius who is reputed kingpin
in the "family" business and is short on cash at the moment.

A Gypsy psychic who used to be Mr. Boddy's secretary.
She arrived with a foretold grave message she received to warn her ex-employer.

A shady French con artiste who has
made sloppy business deals with the artwork he sells.

A beautiful young southern belle who claims to be Boddy's long lost daughter.

The police officer who arrived at the mansion
to collect funds for the Police Blackmail Awareness Program.

The winner, decided by myself, will be entered into the Spotlighted Avatar section.

You may not change anything on the base avatar but the undergarments.
You must follow the theme, and have your distinct style involved.
You may chose your base, first come first serve.
It does NOT have to layer properly.

Lobo and Inspecty, two starcrossed lovers from two sister threads have found themselves madly in love with one another and plan to elope! Where will they go to elope? What ever will they wear! Who is following them in the background!?
Only you know.

Your job is to create a story for Lobo and Inspecty and answer the following above using a description, but most importantly both of their avatars. You must create an clear setting and story in your theme, and make sure it's good because you'll be using this first entry as a building block for the rest of the contest.

Here is where the one most exceptional guest of Boddy Manor will be showcased. To get your avatar showcased here all you have to do is ask for a clue, murder or evidence rating and be awarded the spotlight by one of our resident raters for having an exceptionally well made avatar. At the end of the month, whoever holds the spotlight will win a consolation prize, and it will be good.

Those who partake in our contests and win may also win an auto spotlight at the discretion of the judges.

All past winners will be showcased in the morgue section as an ongoing display of exceptional avatars.
