I don't use this scheme (leonine?) very much, but I really liked this recolor of witchy aesthetic, particularly the legs, so I wanted to make an avi with them and (shocker!) ended up with a witch.

The theme + scheme combo works so well!
Thank you! I had struggled to use this scheme before, but nature avis are a bit more in my comfort zone, so I think that helped.
I've had this avi for a while, I think since the iridescent bundle first came out? I may have tweaked it since then, but I thought she looked a bit like a Barbie doll and the closest thing I had to something to celebrate the Barbie movie coming out.
Another cottage core girl. This was just me remembering that I like pairing tranquil with tawny hair and seeing what new tawny hairs I had. I mixed in swampberry since I know it goes nice with the potpourri, same for sneaking in withered.
edit: upon reflection, her outfit reminds me of the way Rachel Maksy dresses.

I have finally dabbled in Runway! I don't have a lot of time to make avis lately, so I mostly used avis I already had in my closet and tweaked them if needed to help them fit the prompts. Some of them were still WIPs, so I hadn't posted them here yet. I figure I'll post them now.
"Wall Art - Using a cutter or frame, create an original work of art worthy of hanging on the wall.(Scenics Welcomed!) "
I actually did make this one from scratch, starting with the frame. This won 3rd place! I was absolutely shocked! I normally don't do scenics, but I always thought this frame was pretty and I thought of trying to use it when I saw the prompt.
" A Little Luck - Create a look that incorporates a clover. "
I added some extra clovers to this avi to really sell it on the prompt, but I had started it a while back when I was trying to make an avi with that cape item. I tried to use tea green rather than my (preferred) sage green to make it a little different from the Woodlands scheme. Those other greens ended up working well with the clover leaf effects I had. I cannot believe this won 1st place!! I am so lucky and grateful!
Edit 3/16/24:
Made a St Patrick's Day version.
"Book & Cup - Your avatar is enjoying a nice read and a warm cup of coffee or tea (No Stuteaous!)"
I made this one from a different version of this avi that I had saved off in case I wanted to go back to it later. I had different arms on her, but added these back in for the cup and added some other new items and the background. I like how cozy and warm it all looks, I remember being happy with how the dog hid some of the background of the cats pose and it looked like the remaining cat was sitting right on the blanket. I am not sure I'm totally happy with the shirt, face, and hair, but it was hard to find a shirt that worked with the sweater sleeves. This got 4th place!
Started with this classic Jack in the Green pose, and tried to make an avi that highlighted the colors of the glowing fungus. I thought the pickle scheme would work, and I threw in some moluccella as well. I did an alternate version to try the blooming scheme's yellow and green (chiffon and pistachio) but I liked the way these looked better (butter yellow, tea green, molu). I like how the leg matches the arm really well, and I think I did okay on the face and hair.
I have another dump of runway entries coming soon as well.
