I got behind on posting avis. Here's a dump of most of the fantasy ones I've been sitting on. I still have a few casuals I'll post another time. Click to favorite.


I tried making some avis with full head mods and I'm not sure how well I did. Started with the white goat.

As I was doing the white goat I decided to also try using the brown deer head. I think I like this one better but ultimately I feel like they are from the same universe and are from different tribes/cultures.

I made this one so long ago I'm not sure what items I started with. The legs maybe?

After I made this guy I felt like he would be a good companion for the previous girl. They feel like they could be from the same place. I started with the arm mod, it looked like he was casting a cool spell. I like how his face turned out.

I went on a bit of a cluttering kick. I'm not sure if this is too cluttered or not, I had just wanted to use the poncho and make a forest creature and then kept piling things on. Eventually, I took a few things off but I'm still not sure. I liked the sort of skunk effect I had going on with the face, but I'm not sure if it comes through enough.

Uhh yeah. I combined the arms from dead man dancing with that burnt skin and then piled on more old items and crimson. Is this good? I don't know.

Started with the arms here. I'm very pleased with this one! I think this might be my favorite in this post. I imagine that this person is actually very very small and from a race of like bat/mouse-sized people. I liked the juxtaposition of the dark torn fabrics and feathers with the delicate gold.

I love the casual male clothes that spirit box has been putting out, the color choices are right up my alley with jewel tones and neutrals.

Wanted to try making a casual outfit with those pants because I liked how high-waisted they are and I'm a big fan of high-waisted pants in my own wardrobe. She ended up becoming a witch and probably too similar to some other outfits I've made, but I think she's cute and I like the little frogs hanging out with her.

I've been really into the long skirts with sweaters look, so here's another one of those. I may do the same combo again of this sweater and skirt because it works so well and there are a lot of good recolors for each already. Also repeating the froggy trunk, but I'm a sucker for little mini-background items like that so I end up reusing the ones that I have.

This one started with the skirt, and then I tried to balance out the pinks and blues. Hopefully, it worked. I do like being able to use some older items since a lot of the time I feel like I can't get the different styles of shading with the older and newer items to work together.

Just an experiment to see how much I liked this scheme. These shades of pink and purple aren't present in a lot of other items, so it's a bit challenging and I don't know if I like it enough to start collecting it.

I was playing around with the background cutter here and also wanted to use the sootberry version of that sweater when it came out. Just a simple guy staying cozy in the city.

This might be my Christmas avi this year. I started with the coat and tried to highlight the swampberry and potpourri. I really like how she came out.

I have thought that dog pose was so cute ever since I first saw it, and I've wanted to make a decent avi with that dog for a long time. I tried to make peppymint and pale bubblegum work together and I don't know if it was a success, but they both look very happy and cozy.

I really like the other Christmas avi I have been wearing which uses the less obviously Christmassy swampberry and dusk rose/potpourri but I wanted to make a festive one using the actual Festive scheme as well since I have a decent amount of items for it and it really works best during this time of year. That being said, this avi started with the arm mod and I intended to just make a regular avi with it, but then Christmas took over.

I can relate to that! My inventory has so much random stuff in it because I never know what might end up being just the thing I need! I think you have a good blend of versatility yourself. You are so talented with colors, your avis are always a treat for the eyes. I'd love to see what you do with the darker inspiration!
