I usually try to make a New Year avi featuring a clock, and I happen to have a few I made already earlier this year. click to favorite.


This one started with the antique shop clock lantern pose, and it was tricky to make an avi with it that uses the default arms that didn't bother me too much with how they looked.

I think she might actually be holding a teacup, but it looks like a clock to me. I really like how she turned out; I think I had started with the ghostly Marie gown.

A creepy skeleton clock! I just wanted to use this skeleton pose and picked the one with burgundy to give it a little more visual interest than a straight catharsis one.

And a celestial clock crow girl. I was so happy to finally get this clock item after making a couple offers in the marketplace.

2024 was actually a wonderful year for me. My work situation was pretty nice because I was working under an excellent manager and with a friendly team, and I also got engaged! It makes me a little apprehensive going into 2025, because surely my good fortune will run out after three happy years in a row. All I will ask for is that everyone who needs one is able to get a fresh start with the fresh year and that we all experience more joys than woes in 2025.

Struggling with making avis lately. I'm just not feeling like any of them are good enough to post, or I feel like it isn't the right time to post the ones that I do like (I've made like 7 witches?!? I didn't get enough in October!?)
I decided to look at my old unfinished or not posted ones and dusted these off. Click to favorite.


The Bone Musketeer. I imagine this figure is a bit of an urban legend in a historical fantasy setting, acting as a sort of Batman or Robin Hood figure. I made this one back when the skull mask came out.

Omg I made this like casual clown so long ago. I think I started with the coat?

I made this demon brawler a while back, starting with the eyes actually. It was around the time pazuzu party was released because adding the little side skirt is what made me turn the avi into a fighting figure.

Just playing with colors when I made this one. I don't remember how she started.

I made this one back when I was first playing with this arm pose, but I posted two other avis I made with a different recolor and I felt like posting three was excessive, so I never posted this one. In my closet I have it saved as "monster sludge."

I started this one back when aocha was first coming out as a scheme, and it's been fun to add to it as more scheme items were released.

I made this critter because I wanted to use the Maid by Sea ear thingies, and then I made one with chai as well. The first one makes me think of octoepuss's avi style. I miss you octoepuss

I wanted to use these sheer sleeves when they came out, and then when I was trying to decide what to do for her feet, I put the hooves on just for kicks . I really liked the juxtaposition of the hooves with the feminine outfit, so I added more animal elements, face tweaks, and the rural partial background. I really like her, even if she's fairly simple and I've already used this dress and hair combo before. I also just now realized she's using the same eyes as one of the above avis, but the camomild eyes have always been one of my favorites.

I wanted to use this capelet and make an avi with a lot of movement. I ended up trying to blend sovereign and kirin, hopefully I pulled it off? He looks pretty cool in dark mode.

playing with lofi. I really like how her face turned out.

wanted to use the flame version of these pants; they trigger much nostalgia for my youth. I don't know how anyone can make these lips work with noses, but I liked the juxtaposition of the babyish pouty face with the colorful punk outfit.

I really liked the pairing of these legs with the plaid red coat, but I didn't want her to lean too goth. She's like a punk 90s newsie.

Gateau is also a lovely scheme! Happy to see it adopted. I do prefer it when it includes forteanagoria, but this avi didn't happen to incorporate any.

This was my first attempt at a Valentine's avi this year, I added the new roses after. I am not totally happy with her, but this is the 2nd year in a row that I accidentally made a Valentine's avi that's reading a book. This rose maiden feels strongly that nothing could possibly happen at this ball that's more interesting than what's happening in her book.

Just a cute succubus for Valentine's.

Edit: I could have sworn I posted this one when I made it back when these lockets came out, but I can't find the post. Just in case, here it is for posterity and anyone curious about the equip list.
