I made a lot more witches and Halloween avis than I realized, gonna do a big dump to try to catch up. Click to favorite.


Made this witch back towards the start of the year and didn't get around to posting her at the time. Witchtober seems like a good reason to post her now. I started with the arms because I stumbled upon the cool pose and didn't want to forget to use it.

I have a bunch of these calabash+butter witches hanging around. This one feels the most complete and balanced. I think I started with the arm pose and then the bats.

This one was mainly a color experiment, playing with the old scheme that used pecan. She ended up reminding me of the avis octoepuss makes.

Just wanted to make a witch with the withered scheme. I think this one may have started with the hat.

Love the Forage Witch Way item! I made a little harvest witch who loves using her magic to grow veggies that she sells at the local farmer's market.

This one was inspired by wanting to use some of the older classic black/blackout items and especially the ones with a sheer effect. I layered a bunch of sheer stuff on her and was excited to use this old hat that doesn't blend in with a lot of newer items. I knew I wanted her to have a brightly colored skintone to go with the black, and then added the purples because they looked nice with the skin I ended up picking.

And to go with all of these witches, here's a kitty familiar. I was in the process of trying to make a monster avi and then decided to try to make a kitty avi instead using the moving tail and ear items. Unfortunately I don't know how to save the moving version with all the layers together.

Edited the harvest witch I made in October to be more of a Thanksgiving avi, although my farmer girl I was just wearing also works for Thanksgiving. Click to favorite.

I have lovingly referred to this guy as "the midnight baron." He's been kicking around in my closet since before I made this avi, so around October 2022. I was reminded of him when this cax recolor came out and gave him a few more tweaks. He also looks pretty cool with a bird skull head. I wanted to make a sort of Victorian bird skull person after seeing these incredible crochet patterns. Maybe I still will.

I could have sworn I posted this one, I made this woodlands cryptid fella back around December 2020. To be fair to me, my life sort of imploded right after so I can see why I would have been disorganized about it. Little did I know how much my life would improve from there. I did tweak the hair just now, so at the very least it's an update if not an original.

A sweet little bunny. I originally made her back in 2021 around the time I made this avi, but tweaked her legs and eyes just now. I think she was meant to be posted for Easter at the time.

This casual punk came about because I wanted to use these pants. I made her around April 2021 but updated her recently with some new accessories and tattoos.

This avi started with the arm pose and then I also ended up liking how the legs/boots looked with the dress. I made her originally back in March 2023.

I went full Christmas, started with one and then spun it off into a second one which is why they look somewhat similar. click to favorite.


Utilized the sweater pose and the hat and brooch items from "Festivities here and there." I tried to use the stockings pose but it's really tricky to layer with.

Used the hot cocoa stand. A lot of leg mods and shoes will peek out from underneath, so behind the stand this person's legs look a little silly. I was happy to find that this background cutter/frame layers nicely with the stand.

This was a dragon (with a background! ) I had made a while back and didn't really like, but then I slapped this card overlay on it and that fixed everything.

I really liked this keychain pose and just sort of threw this together, but I think she's cute and fun.

The new emo item made me want to make the most 2002 hot topic avi I could. An ode to my teen years.

Here's the friendly laid-back love interest who works at a music store from a progressive holiday romance.
Honestly the inspiration was just wanting to find a way to make these sleeves work since they are so closely tied to the shirt pose of the same item and I don't like using two of the same item on an avi.

Tried to make a cafe to go with the sign. If I'm using a full background, I prefer to do scenics, but it looked too empty so I added a girl working at the cafe.

Tried to use the hair with the neck braid, with the idea that maybe it would work if there were other braids and the avi looked like it was in motion.

It's been fun hosting the December Angel Item challenge, and I have been trying to post the avis more quickly after I make them.

I've realized that like I'm a mood reader with books, I'm a mood-wearer with avis. If I don't feel like wearing an avi right when I make it, it will just sit in the closet until it's the vibe I'm looking for, unless I put it in a dump with an avi that does suit my mood.

Looks like she walked right off the cover of a Holiday Historical Romance Novel, historical inaccuracies and all! She started with me wanting to make an avi with the Lady Jayne item, and I tried not to cover it up too much. Her face is a bit different from what I usually do, but I like it.

I'm least happy with this one I made things harder for myself by picking the coat recolor with the rarest colors to match

I'm going to be traveling for a few days, so here's a random dump of avis I made months ago and never got around to posting. click to favorite.


I started with the headscarf pose and made this back in October (I think) and had intended to use her as a potential Christmas avi maybe? She has some red and green going on.

I believe this one started with the headdress? The tattoos/body paint may have come next. The cold does not bother this winter warrior.

And following that up with another wintery viking sort of character. Perhaps they are from the same tribe? This one actually started with the Punky Ribbones tunic.

I wanted to use this weird background cutter/frame thing. She's an elf and she studies plants and insects.

A fairy in nomina. I used some older poses on her and they look terrible in dark mode.

And a dapper grim reaper I'm quite happy with.
