Okay, restaurant is out. But where should I do it? My house is weird, because that would be making him come over to get broken up with, and his house has lots of people in it, including older brothers who would hit me. whee

Iuno Its odd setting up a break up. Just make sure that he knows its not a date and that there's something important to talk about, if he is even semi-intelligent he'll sense there's an issue and he may be able to mentally prep a bit.

Oh hey! I just realized I sorta have experience in this! lol
So I was dating this guy for like... a week last semester; we will not get into the details.
Bottom line: it was hella dumb.
Anyways, he had set up a date for us earlier, but then later said he had something "important to talk about that we had to do face to face."
I think, if my mind wasn't already on the "we really need to break up" track, I never would have put that towards breaking up.
Anywho, he planned on breaking up with me at the restaurant, but I brought up that he wanted to talk in the car on the way there.
I am glad I did, because if I wasn't already on the same page, breaking up at the restaurant would have left me feeling very confused and hurt in a public area. No good.
Breaking up in the car gave me the option of either still going with him to eat together as friends or to go back home.
So there is my experience for you. :3
