Thats what I figured. If I keep going with it, I am essentially leading him on.
And then when it blows, there will be no way to keep the friendship,
and we have been friends for a long time.
I was thinking of taking him to lunch and telling him there. Is that a good or bad idea? I didn't want to be mean or casual about it because I really do care about him.
And squishsquash, I frequently think about your a**.
It is an understandable affliction.

I dunno if I'd want to hear it in a public place, if you're going out to lunch. I mean, I guess if it's going to go off calm and smooth, it wouldn't matter, but if there are going to be hurt feelings, he might not want to be out somewhere. At least that's how I'd approach it, but I'm a pretty shy and reserved person, I prefer to have personal talks like that behind closed doors.
Damn, that is a good point.
I mean, I won't say it meanly, and I of course wouldn't try to hurt his feelings...
