Hello! I thought it would be helpful to have a place for people to submit their queries in advance for the next Ask the Staff event. Feel free to post your questions here, questions answered will go in OP of the next event. For those of you whose questions did not get answered, you may post your question here.

Please be sure to follow the Rules and Guidelines posted below. These apply not only to this thread but to all Ask the Staff events!

Just in case there is something that can’t wait until ATS perhaps the Help Center Live Chat can help you!

A Live Agent will be able to help you with ONLY certain issues:

• Billing Questions: There may be a brief delay between your payment being accepted and the Gaia Cash or item(s) being granted to your account. Please wait up to an hour to see if they appear before starting a chat or creating a ticket.
  
• Secondary Authentication/IP Verification: Our agents can disable these security measures for your account when you are unable to do so yourself.
  
• Regaining access to your account: We can provide a hint if you've forgotten the e-mail address on your account, or replace your old e-mail if it's one you no longer have access to. We can also assist with restoring access to your account if it's on hold due to a compromise. We're currently unable to assist with ban appeals; for those, please fill out a ticket and choose Account Was Banned as the subject.
  
• Closing your account: Gaia does not delete accounts. Asking for a closure means your account will be banned so it can not be accessed until/unless you return.

At this time, our agents are unable to assist with the following:

• Name Changes: Unfortunately we can no longer process Name Change requests through Live Chat. We will make sure to inform you if/when this will be available again.
  
• Ban appeals for Terms of Service violations: These inquiries demand the most extensive investigations and follow-up communications, and are not suitable for resolving through Live Chat at this time.

Features - Notifications

Could we get different shades of green for the notifications?

Regular green for when someone replies, quotes you, or a subscribed thread has a reply in the forums
Light green when someone adds your avatar as a favorite
Dark green when someone purchases / accepts an offer from you

Having the same shade of green for every notification just feels evil, especially when you're waiting on an offer and it's just someone favoriting one of your avatars you created 2 years ago.

Any plans or ETA on changing up capsule drops on Lake Kindred? Some of the items and RIGs are literally a decade old and it's been 2 years since the capsules have been refreshed.

I feel like this has been asked before but couldn't find the answer: Is Cross Stitch ever going to be coming back? I get that you guys need the ticket money and all, but it'd be nice to have a shop not just sit dormant without any updates for over 8 years now. Heck, I think that having a "design an item" contest with a theme like "20 years of Gaia" would be a really cool thing to promote to draw in users- not many sites last that long sweatdrop

Is there any headway on fixing the Avatar Builder's slots?
So many of us have been unable to make more than 6, as trying to make a 7th simply overwrites the 6th, yet it shows as if we should be able to. This has been an issue for a very long time.

The Avatar Builder in general could use a few updates as well, especially for categories and tags rather than it pretty much showing only what has the same word directly in the item name. It is a big big part of Gaia in my experience, allowing us to create beautiful avatars we want to set goals for, which in turn have us spend more in Gaia's economy, as well as shop at the Premium shops.

wondering if there could be an "open all" option when I have alot of gotchas from kindred or many op-enables stacked up

may we please get more casual/streetwear items? clothes that folks in real life wear every day? preferably streetwear that isn't always tied to time period like the back2k items. maybe even some slice of life type backgrounds of places you go in real life? more indoor backgrounds would be nice too because we've got way too many background items that take place outside. items that reflect both city and suburban life would be cool too.
