RPing is what REALLY got me into Gaia. Uh.. five years ago now. -Nods- ...okay 5 years in a couple weeks.

I started out in the Chatterbox in a Vampire Bar. XD Then I moved to Commerce and stayed in the.. supernatural/fighting bars. Then I moved to a 'Gay' Bar that was.. so little plot and so much sex that I was just hanging out in the OOC. But that turned into major drama cause then it was OOC sex... and since I was already starting to move in here to art community I made it my new home and haven't really gone back.

Most of my RPing is done on MSN cause it's faster and I'm pretty casual.. though if the chemistry isn't right it doesn't last.

EVERY STORY needs theme, even if it's bad. It's almost like you can't have a sentence without a verb.

If your story has no theme, then, how will it reach someone beyond yourself.

Have you ever taken a language arts class and read a story with no theme?
No.

its almost impossible to write without theme, regardless if you planned it out.

plot, characters, setting, all of this is inconsequential to the greater theme.

yes, if you're just doing it for fun, go ahead and have a lesser theme, but to truly achieve purpose, you characters setting and plot must all coherently work together to CREATE your theme and thesis.

And this is writing.


Remember your language arts class.

Remember what the teacher told you about that paragraph that didn't add to your thesis?
Take it out, because it's worthless to the point of your writing.
