how do you go through the process of designing them. Because I'm having trouble for some of them, I'm trying to make one's for my OC's, just as a fun thing. I know what I'm doing for my typholision and luxray, but I'm having trouble with a leafeon and growlithe one.

I go on google and find clothes and hairstyles that suit them

the i add little things that seem like they'd be a big deal or something from the pokemon xD

It just depends on what you want to make really, like for my Lapras

Lapras's outfit design is a Equestrian riding outfit with her colors and a hairstyle that looks like sorta like lapras's horns

Its better to find artist who like gijinka designs though, because they usually GET your idea down


PS. I also start with a theme for the gijinka's, Like for Mikado's design i wanted something with Asian like clothing and personality, for Lime i wanted something simple

Honestly though, if you stick to the colors of the pokemon, and maybe one distinguishing mark or something, people get the idea that its a gijinka...
