Well it is with mixed feelings that I post the final two images made for this art shop.
It's been a great run since opening up in July and I've met some amazing people and characters that I've had the pleasure to draw.
I've just gotten confirmation today that I was successful in getting the job which means, starting Monday I'll be back to full time employment and working for L'Oreal which will be an amazing experience. It means my time here will be cut drastically but I still intend to work under Marty's Art and Coffee Shop as well as Couture Creations because drawing is still what I love to do in my spare time and you all give me such challenging and engaging characters and ideas to draw.
That isn't the only reason I'm closing shop - I've been wanting to take my art in a new direction but found myself falling back on easier styles here just for the sake of it. So I'm going to try and use this time to branch out and try to bring my art to another level if possible. I might fail, who knows XD But I'll try.
Like I've said before, with the official closure of this shop I'm happy for you all to provide links to your art request threads or character profiles - or even just post them here following the request form which I've left up on the front page. When I get the time, I'll come through and see what catches my eye and inspiration to work on ^_^
I also plan to haunt the Art Requests forum a bit so if you don't link it here I may stumble across your thread there and surprise you with some art. You never know
