Sometimes it is, sometimes it's not! Sometimes I might come up with an appearance, and wind up changing it after the character is more developed personality wise, cause they tend to take on minds of their own. XD As they tend to!~

With this one, I think I came up with a rough concept of what I wanted out of a character, bits of personality sorta formed as I played around with the avatar. The name came after that, and I often like to start that process with an ethnicity/nationality so it helps narrow down what kind of name I want.

Ah yes, characters coming along and then ruining your carefully laid plans. Always a great moment when they do that and you realise you really have made a good character that can think for itself XD

all the colors!!! you're right he doesnt look like loki anymore....but he did for awhile! now I'm getting like a lord of the rings/elf vibe- what was legolas' dad's name again? the kinda crazy mean one? XD

Haha I'm not sure about Legolas' dad's name but yah - definitely not a Loki look any more!

The only dad figure I remember is Elrond lawl

haha they're pretty different looking! elrond was still pretty calm/collected/ respectable looking- this other elf king looked like he was really sinister/ on the verge of losing his marbles XD
