and I think you do snakes lovely...xD but if you're discouraged by it, think of this as practice! XD

that ponytail of hair...xD doesn't look quite like hair yet...xD it looks more like a ribbon...xP (also, I'm not sure if it would look better BRAIDED or not...xD;; granted, for the purpose of swinging it around with the jade loop, it might be better if it was braided?) and there will be some of kind of maybe scaly embroidering on the tailcoat? :>
