I'd love to mess around with Sai but I don't think there's a mac version??? I dicked around with it on my laptop but that piece of s**t only has 512 mb ram lafffffffff

Hm.. is PS painter much different from CS? Or is that just all of the current versions mashed together? I honestly have no idea...

Ohuu well, there's Adobe Photoshop-- latest version is CS5 (WHICH IS ******** AWESOME BTW-- best version yet.)

Then there's Corel Painter.... honestly I haven't actively used painter since version 7, and that was because back when adobe had only released up to photoshop 7, it was really difficult to achieve clean, crisp lines with the brush settings within PS. Painter has always been a really good option for people who already understand how to work traditionally, or want to achieve a really organic look and feel with their work, but I prefer photoshop to anything :O

I used painterX for a bit and it was just way too laggy for me... so I gave up on it entirely hahaha sad

my friend always uses Corel Painter but she was good with a real brush so her work always came out amazing! [ me not so much... ] I stuck with PS7.... then upgraded to CS4 and I've been hearing a lot of good things about CS5.. apparently its finally worth the upgrade. I watched some developer vids on youtube and I might just get it...

IDK... it's just me but I do better making graphics on photoshop than coloring. Sai is just soo much easier and vectors make it so easy to make shiny <3 and I love making shiny!

Um...well, see my computer freezes, bluescreens, shuts down, crashes...at first we thought it was the motherboard? In fact HP even said "Oh yeah it's the motherboard send it in we'll replace it for free because it's our manufacturers error blahblahblah." sooooo it worked for a bit? And then it started to bluescreen again. And in February it just crashed. Couldn't start it up, couldn't even get it past the first warmup screen. Nope. Not at all. Sooooo we completely wiped it and reinstalled everything like it was brand new. It worked for awhile.

Basically it just does all this stuff, and now we can't get it to fix again. @___@ It's been doing this for a few years now.
