In my opinion, when people see Edit Here they tend to edit there. Anyone filling out your form not smart enough to know that... well, they should just leave the internet until they graduate Kindergarten. XD
You could also change Edit Here to Put Information Here or Write Here, etc. And putting [brackets] around the part you want edited tends to steer people in the right direction, too.
If you want the gray, though, definitely put a designated space to insert information or the tags might confuse people. :3
